Haven’t read through all the replies yet, but just want whoever doubted the back to back theory for the shops to admit they were wrong

Personally, I don’t see Hogsmeade getting a $400 treatment like DA. I would love for something like that, but the design doesn’t seem as unique nor interesting. Hopefully they disagree and make many many more big sets! Right now, however, all I want is a Leaky Cauldron
-
I think that’s the order it’s officially in. I forgot where I read this but I believe the order is from left to right: that is, Olivander’s, QQS, F&B, WWW Edit: Got 9/9 on the quiz (guessed on the brick one). I’m surprised they asked some questions about stores that aren’t even in the set.
-
Lego also literally builds the bricks in factories. I think we’re comparing apples and oranges ? Though the argument is dumb anyway, do whatever you want with the bricks idc

You’ll definitely have an opportunity to get it before Christmas. Man, this reveal is at 3am PST. Guess I’ll have plenty to catch up on in the morning
-
Do you have a link? I forgot the site name. The only one that I see available is the one with James and Oliver building the QR codes As far as we know there isn’t an early access for VIPs - it’s available for everyone on September 1st. Even if it sells out this week, there will be plenty of times throughout the year that it will come back in stock. Don’t worry :)

I just ordered 4 for about $6, so not too bad! Want to try to grab them before everyone else gets the same idea
-
It says there’s dbg in the link? Or am I reading it incorrectly.

Is 16x32 the smallest it can go? I feel I really only need to extend the street like 8 more studs. Awesome that’s perfect! If old they had it in the same color...
-
Which size base plates should I use if I want to extend the cobblestone floor a bit more? Just want to have a bit more “street” to put things on, and I really love the small amount of cobblestone in the set already.

It’s finally here tomorrow! So excited
-
A3 and A4 are paper sizes
-
The box looks similar to the Lego NES, which people were surprised how big it was. I think this pic just makes it look smaller than it is
-
One thing I don’t understand- since the reveal is so close to the release date, DA hasn’t shown up in any magazines or promotions or anything. What is the strategy behind hiding this set from any or all marketing? This set is going to come and go as if nothing happened
-
We don’t even get a big box to gawk at? Cmon Lego give us somethin! ? (only half-joking)
-
You have a pic or something? I don’t understand why TLG would ever allow that
-
Seriously? We joked about it but we’re actually finding DA before it’s revealed?? ?♂️
-
As far as we know the entire set could be digital! Who needs physical blocks anymore, I would rather be part of the simulation
-
I would be very upset if there wasn’t a Manuel booklet/s. It made sense for Mario with all it’s tech Compatibility, but I would hope they are more aware of who their $400 set market is. *cough* adults *cough*.
-
That sounds absolutely awful. Leave the dumb app stuff to Hidden Side. It ruined the Grand Piano as well.
-
Another thing, I can’t believe that this hype event is called Through the Brick, yet the set has no reference to the brick wall! Maybe there’s something Monday that will actually surprise us ?
-
I personally don’t think we will ever get a B&B because it wouldn’t fit probably on the street. I think Gringotts is basically a guarantee, and if anything else maybe the other side of the street.

Are you going to try to implement the Daily Prophet sign with this edit?

So kind of a funny story... Decided to stop by Target after my doctor’s appointment, as I still want Dumbledore from CMF2. Once I got there, I realized their lego aisle was newly stocked with all the new sets, so I knew they probably had the CMF somewhere. I couldn’t find them in the toy aisle, so I decided to check out the cash registers and, surprise, they’re all full with HP CMF. There was a problem, however - Target is now directing people to register’s, and there was a long line. If I was going to feel around these bags to find Dumbledore, I was going to need some time (and go somewhere not as populated because I’m insecure of people watching me fondle toy bags lmao). I decided to sneak in once and tell the guy I’m just grabbing the Lego bags off the shelf. He was chill and I took the entire stack in the aisle. Went back to the toy area and couldn’t feel Dumbledore, so I just threw them on the HP lego sets and went back for round 2. This time I tried to do it without asking because the guy was going to start questioning why I’m taking all of these bags and then leaving so I grab about 10 more on another aisle and feel them again, trying to spot the curved leg piece. BINGO, found two. One was Lestrange, but the other I couldn’t tell between Dumbledore and Sprout. Decide to risk the $5 to check and threw all the other ones on the aisle again (sorry Target employees). Get the the car and it’s Sprout :( Was still a fun little Target round haha will wait until it’s easier to feel them before I get Dumbledore I guess.

@krimimimi Lego has had everyone delete DA pics from Instagram until it is fully revealed. To everyone who is doubting the two fully closed building idea, know that it isn’t supposed to be the ideal way to present the street, but for some people into modular having them connect would be crucial. There’s just no other logical reason for the pins and QQS to perfectly match with WWW, including DP with Knockturn Alley. It kind of sucks that QQS has to look a little wonky, but it is what it is.
