Now that Diagon Alley has released, this is my next most anticipated set. Hope it comes after Sesame Street!

Did anyone on step 281 of the Flourish and Blots building have circular 1x1’s instead of square 1x1’s? A bit specific but it’s the only pieces I have left that aren’t extras just kidding, used the wrong pieces on a previous direction ?

Is 8x16 the smallest plate that is thin like the base plates? I Was hoping to add like 4 studs deep to the DA street, but the 4x8 plates are thicker than the 8x16

I don’t think they need to stop per se, but when Idea approvals are so far and few between, and with so many original set ideas that get the boot, it pains me a little to have a spot taken for something like Community or Big Bang Theory.

If it helps anyone here, I ordered a few non-HP sets around the same time as DA and they are all taking forever to deliver. I think Lego is just seeing a huge influx of orders these past coupe of weeks. Hope you all can get your sets soon!

I think what makes Ratatouille more likely than just “it already got rejected” is that it literally hit 10k in less than a week right before deadline. It clearly has such a positive reception I can see Lego taking that into consideration this time. Give it to us LEGO!! If another TV sitcom set makes it this time I will implode

Started September 2nd, on bag 12 today. Taking my sweet sweet time :)

The ones I want the most are Ratatouille and Windmill and Medieval Market. A lot of these licensed ones are mediocre sets using the franchise popularity to get them to 10k.

Actually I was wrong, he was just reposting it it's actually by Brickdance. Either way I think it's a cool idea but not fleshed out enough to really stick the landing. With some edits though I could see some potential!

Have you guys seen Brickfinder's DA set up? He stacked them up and it kinda gives a Ninjago City vibe! Really cool idea

Damn Hagrid Brickhead already going for around $50 on EBay. Will maybe hold onto it for a year and see what I can get out of it.

About to finish Olivander's/Scribbulus today. I'm taking my sweet time that's for sure I think my roommates are getting a bit peeved that I have the bags spread out all over the living room though lol. Hope to stay active on the forums still - hopefully by the time DA and new set hype dies down a little we start getting some rumors for next year! I cannot wait for Gringotts.

So I think I’m going to add two more modulars to DA for fun. One will be Madam Malin’s Robes for All Occasions and the other will be Eyelop’s Owl Emporium/Magical Menagerie One thing I’m noticing about the buildings, WAY too much purple lol Also, don’t know if Magical Menagerie should be the WB tour or the Universal Green version. The one in the studio tour is just a small red window in the corner, which would make it easy to add as a second small building. The green one in the theme park looks cooler though.

Wow why does Star Wars get to blow HP out of the water with minifigures? I think DA is the better set overall, especially for the price, but DA’s weakest part is definitely the minifigures. Though I guess this is counteracted a bit by CMF 2 existing.

Awesome! I have been getting into Stud.io, and I think I may take a stab at is as well! Do you have the exact layout of the side of the street? I will start doing research as well :)

Have Diagon Alley ready to build! Will probably start this weekend. I do film and video game scoring as my career, but with a little bit of free time during the slow work year, I've decided to apply for a part-time job at my local Lego store. Would be a fun thing to do during the day while I write during the other hours :)

Called from my bedroom, second in line, picking up at 3pm. Woot!!

Us West Coasters are the last to wait I guess gonna call the Lego store in 45 minutes and hopefully grab one up this afternoon. Thinking about buying the student accessory pack as well and giving them the short legs so I can better replicate the Nimbus 2000 scene. Can’t wait!
