Lego Technic Bus
Jim replied to andy111's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hi Andy, When you create a new topic, can you add some pictures and text? Simply linking to another site isn't proper conduct on Eurobricks. Thanks! -
I was about to send you a PM on Facebook to post it over here, but that wasn't necessary. You know I am a big fan of your garage MOCs and this one is no exception. Truly amazing. I can't stop looking at all the details

Davekuhh's Detailed LEGO models
Jim replied to Davekuhh's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
If only you were able to build that nice Volvo model out of LEGO! Wait a minute... This is...just wow! Model Team on steroids. Thanks for posting this amazing model. Can't wait to see the CAT. You might want to consider creating a new topic for each model. Definitely! -
There's always a chance of a reproduction, but I wouldn't count on it when it comes to the 8043 and 8258. The 8043 does have a lot of commonly available parts. You will be able to build it without making a huge investment. Some goes (more or less) for the 8258. I would use Rebrickable to check which parts you miss and order them via Bricklink.

Extreme Large Mining Truck
Jim replied to shineyu's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Wow, this is quite an impressive model. Makes you wonder why TLG doesn't take a shot at such a model. If your model were an official set, I would buy it in a heartbeat. Very well done. I see you even made it to the frontpage -
Fresh new Eurobricks member ShineYU made quite an impression with his first MOC presented in the Technic Forum. His Caterpillar 795F Mining Dump Truck is nothing short of spectacular. .

Generic Contest Discussion
Jim replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Fair enough I know Hence the <apology> A GBC contest could be interesting, but I will do something for GBC on a separate occasion. I think it might be too limiting for a dedicated Technic contest. -
Generic Contest Discussion
Jim replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
<apology> It's been very quiet in here, which is basically my bad. I have been too busy with all kinds of stuff lately. I even need to finish a review I started writing a while back. Give it to me Alasdair: "what else is new?" </apology> <tease> Rumor has it that a new contest might see the light of day somewhere in the near future. </tease> -
Thanks! You can create a Bricksafe (or Flickr) account. They are both free. You can upload large images for your personal use and embed a smaller version on this site. Bricksafe is very easy to use!

Hi, That's a nice contraption! Can you make sure the pictures don't exceed the site restrictions? That's 1024 pixels wide, preferably 800. Thanks!
