My army! The setup changes a lot (I like to display them in ranks, square, or as what you see here) but in general, it's 33 infantry, 2 lieutenants, and 1 general.

I agree with Prateek, while these would look great as a display piece, I can't spent $80 on this when I can get sets like the MMV for just 20 more. They really look good though, very recognizable and I love all the cute converted submodels like the window washer and ice cream cart.

She's looking great, I like your technique and the interior of the cabin. The functionality of the deck details is sweet. Personally I think three masts is too many, but it's your ship. PS I hope you are having fun in Paris!

I admire the wave effect, it looks very alive in the second picture. However I think the MOC would benefit from having blue under the transparent plates, currently the ocean looks inch-deep.

I love it! The SNOTted prow stands out especially to me, it's so smooth. As always with your ships this gives a lot of inspiration. Keep it up!

BSB to the max! I like them, especially the sails look very majestic. However I do agree with the other posters about the size of the upper deck cannons. Why are there ladders going lengthwise?

This is great, it doesn't feel especially POTC to me but it's still an awesome moc. I like all the little scenes throughout, it's like a ton of vignettes put together. Sneaky with the submarine periscope and Stormtrooper helmet.

Nice army, I like your Wellington fig. Great that the infantry aren't all clones, I have about the same number of soldier's but can't find enough suitable heads. Are you planning to make the Battle of Waterloo? That would be fantastic!

I think they should switch this guy to the actual sets department. This is fantastic in so many ways, but mostly the stern shaping is incredible. It's interesting to know that the models in the LEGO games are actually "real" mocs that can be brickbuilt or whatever, instead of a non-LEGO "structure" with some elements tacked on.

Thanks for the review! I had no idea about a lot of the features that you showed. I like the set more now, although it definitely needs lower sails.

Underwater Month Avatar Contest Voting

Horry: 1 Brickdoctor: 1 CoP: 1 Good luck everyone! -
Overall, I like it. It's very clean and looks like a great display piece, especially with the black frame. I have a couple suggestions though: the walls look too thick, maybe 1 stud would work better?: I think the roofs would look better studless: If you built the walls with either headlight bricks or the "grooved" bricks I think it would look more like there are windows, columns, etc. Just suggestions, I like it a lot regardless.

Cecilie's Collectable Minifigures vignettes - series 5
Skipper replied to Cecilie's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Great job! I'm surprised at how much you manage to fit in such small a space. They're all excellent but my favorites are Godzilla and the snowboarder. The gangster one made me laugh when I looked at the details. -
Thanks everyone! I actually like the new Imperials over old, the printing is so beautiful. However I associate this bright yellow/red colorscheme completely with the older figures, so to me the new looks out of place. That being said if this was built with tan/dark blue yes I would use the new figures.

181B Thanks to Phes for the awesome background. Hello, After taking apart my ITP for a review, I decided to try MOCing something else rather than rebuilding it. The result is this Imperial Outpost, built in the classic style. Two cannons, a drinking area (), and a small dock. Front: Back: I hope you like it! -Skipper

It's Underwater Action Themes Month!
Skipper replied to Hinckley's topic in Forum Information and Help
Theme month! I have no UAT sets but I love the look. Great job people who made it! -
Very nice, I like the stern ornaments especially with the minifigs as statues. Looking forward to the next update. Did gallons really have headrails?

What If Battle Part 2 : British Line VS Musketeer
Skipper replied to - Spark -'s topic in Pirate MOCs
Obviously the British, the Musketeers have fencing foils (and they've left the balls on the end)! Nice MOC, the faces on the Musketeers suit them very well. Why are there bars on the rock formations? -
Looks great! I'm only missing his famous hat. I like how they put it on a frame, does anyone here display lego "artwork" on the walls (I don't)?
-
Holy megablocks Madoka, that's a HUGE army. I'll buy some. Pweez? Are you planning a diorama/castle for them, or do you just enjoy army building?

Well, I can't be nostalgic about any of these themes, because I'm not an old geezer. Joking. That being said I voted Blacktron. The black/neon green looks so awesome even now and I think LEGO could do some of the old sets justice with remakes.

Well, looks like TLG marketing worked on you LT, eh. Me as well. In addition I also want Mill Village now.

Black Seas Barracuda: This Legends re-release was probably my first big set, I loved it to death. I've stupidly broken it down several times for parts, but can never resist finding the pieces (no mean feat) and rebuilding. Dragon Fortress: Recently brought back to my attention by Z06's great review. LEGO really outdid themselves here, it looks great and it's so playable. Cheers.

Oh man, I can't believe I took this apart. I dunno why even, it used to be my favorite set. Thanks for the review!

Minas Tirith. 'Nuff said. More realistically, a D2C Castle. Doesn't have to be huge, maybe a 2500-3000 brick Norman Keep or fortified manor.
