Oops, didn't mean to say This someone. Normally I wouldn't amend a typo something like this, but since I'm sure someone's going to say "How do you know who's going to unvote" or something of that sort I thought to make it clear.
-
Well, since my previous vote towards Flanagan won't do anything, I think Zam Kuric is innocent, and I think that Darth is scum, I'll change my vote in case THis someone decides to unvote Zakura again. Unvote: Flangan (Flare) Vote: Wife of Darth (Darth Nihilus) This is the last time I'll be able to vote today.
-
Great job on the puzzle Wully Tintin. For now, I'm going to Vote: Flanagan (Flare). He has both said nothing constructive and not shown the finished puzzle claiming that no one asked to see right after I asked. Now, I'm off to "work."
-
At the moment, my vote is leaning towards Ms. Darth. She comes up with amazing plans to capture scum, then warns them explicitly of the presence and sometime even the nature of the "trick" in public. If she were really trying to catch scum (and not just appear so) what is the point of this? I am also somewhat interested in the relationship between Mrs. Darth and Sir Carrot. If we pretend for a moment that they are both mafia, than their initial "conflict" might be to publicly distance themselves and take suspicion away from one or the other. On another note: How the. Only five pieces have been shared, and from my own efforts to begin laying these out I can tell you we're missing a lot. But since you say you have 'em all together, let's see it.

Apologies for my lateness. Feel free to visit my home and I'll be happy to explain why. I can understand your frustration Sir Carrots, however I do not think lynching someone merely for quietness is a good strategy. As god has told us, the best strategy for the mafia is to blend in: Which is not what I've been doing, obviously my protracted absence has caused me to come under suspicion. Just wanted to quickly defend myself before a bandwagon got started, I'll have time to share my thoughts in-depth in about an hour.

I had been planning to keep this to myself a while longer, but as it seems to be the done thing right now here it is: I hope everyone else will reveal theirs as well. Scubacarrot's piece looks something like "end," so hopefully when pieced together it will give us some clue as to how to end this.

Mafia School: The Witchbreed Confirmation and Discussion
Skipper replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Sorry I'm late. Sports practice. Skip Pudding is ready to play! -
Nice catch! Great hull technique, works really well for small ships in creating a nice curve. Lovely colorscheme as well, the tan works really well with the white/red. Those life jackets do look terrible.

I agree with Captain Becker, ordering with Bricklink should be much more cost-effective. See here: You may have seen my frigate, this is one of the earlier renditions of it when I was trying to make it orderable from LEGO. Under 2000 pieces, $350 USD. If you still want to order from LEGO but keep the cost down, I suggest at least buying just the hull pieces from Bricklink, $86 just for the base is a lot. Just build it with the hull sections on LDD and delete them before you check price/order. The ship in the pictures above is built to fit around the prefabs. Hope that helps.

Fantastic! There's a lot to love, the concept, playability, everything. Your son is lucky to have this. I like how even with the functionality and ruggedness, it still has very LEGO look (and fits in perfectly with the theme). Also being able to garage the official sets inside is just awesome. Great work.

Look what I just got - Report your latest Pirate LEGO acquisitions
Skipper replied to V()()D()()'s topic in LEGO Pirates
Just built the Imperial Flagship! She's beautiful! A lot bigger than I expected from the box (by far my largest set) , and the colors are just lovely. If there's anything I don't like it's those huge hatches on the top deck, but that's easy to mod. I'll probably turn her into a 16 gun two-decker sometime. -
Thanks for another great blog! I don't like the theme that much but as you showed there are definitely some gems in there. And that commercial was excellent. I don't like your blog skin change as much, I think the minifigs distract too much from the content. Looking forward to Dragon Masters.

Mafia School: The Witchbreed Signup thread

Thanks for hosting! I'd love to play, I missed the signups for the last one. 1) I'm already spending a couple hours a day here, so I don't think it's a problem. 2) PMing now. -
Eurobrick's 4th LDD RCB
Skipper replied to Piratedave84's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I vote for classic as well, besides that I like it more I think doing so will help keep the build more unified looking. Also the classic style is less piece intensive so we wouldn't have to use, say, six turns just building up the rock base. Something like these (by ZCerberus and Captain K.) would be cool. I have a question, are we building a Imperial Soldier/Guard or Pirate fort? Because the yellow/white/red is generally for the Imperials. If we're going with the latter, I think we should go with a colorscheme along the lines of black/grey/green in modern style - because Pirate bases are generally smaller it doesn't need to be as big. Just an idea, you're the host so I'm cool with whatever you want. Okay don't sing. -
Love it! Interesting shape for a castle, it doesn't really make sense to me realistically but your build is spectacular. As others have said the roof (and overall curving) technique is great but my favorite part is the interior. I like the kitchen most, it just looks like it could be in a castle. I also like the huge fireplaces and the simple cheese slope motif on the walls, it looks great. Those minifigs are lucky to live in there.

Another RCB! And it's Pirates! Looking forward to it, and thanks to whoever's hosting. Will you guys be changing any aspects of the RCB suggested in the poll? -
I like this the most of all your MOCs, the general atmosphere is just perfect for a small port town. The many interiors are great as well, they give the MOC a lot of character and the story fits in well with them. Will this be the final size, or are you planning to expand? Keep it up!

Amazing, you definitely should be proud of her, especially the stern. Is there an interior? The height of this ship would be perfect for that.

MOC - The Queen inspects her Royal Blacksmiths
Skipper replied to lightningtiger's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Nice. I like the simplicity, and the prince's expression is perfect. How about building an attached blacksmith shop/quarters? -
Awesome. As others have said the forced perspective works amazingly well, and the fact that the Barracuda is built on what looks like a standard rowboat just makes it even cooler.
-
Thanks for the mini review. Looks like an amazing army builder. I need to get some of these, good thing my b-day's coming up soon.
-
Looks good! Maybe too straight but I can't really tell from the pictures. It looks great in the first and then straight in the second. How are you planning to plank this without the hinge showing? Keep it up!

Le Fourageux, French third-rate ship of the line, minifig scale!
Skipper replied to Captain Blackmoor's topic in Pirate MOCs
Wow. The design, details, scale, everything is amazing. The vastness of the deck is so impressive, I never imagined anything like that in LEGO. The bow is a great improvement over the original as well, but I think you already know that. Can't wait for another update! -
Very nice! A great inspiration for me, I've been working on a series of classically styled MOCs. I love the unique shape of your fort, and the Armada colorscheme is beautiful. It's one I've often overlooked, and I think I might start using it more often. I think this would actually be viable for production if you replaced the brick walls with wall panels and untiled the crenellations. And while I'm here, I'll just say that I loved your old add-ons to the Soldier's Fort.
