  1. Thanks for the movies, I've really wanted to see both after all these comments. Congrats on the knighthood, BTW.
  2. Aaaaand LEGO has 1 million likes! Britannia looks great BTW.

  3. I swear I almost had a heart attack when I saw this bumped . I was hoping for pictures. NOW! WIll she still be a waterline model, or are you going for a brickbuilt hull like CGH's? Those techniques sound interesting, I'm looking forward to seeing them. Good to know you're changing the bow, as brilliant as the ship was already that was one part I felt looked a little off. Keep it up! Cheers
  4. I was born after what I consider the golden age of LEGO, so I pretty much miss missing out on everything, but especially the classic pirate and castle sets. To me those just have a charm that today's sets even with awesome piece selections and colors just can't replicate.
  5. Thanks for the suggestion Def, I just checked out a summary of that and it looks quite interesting. I think I need to take a break from dark satires for a while though.
  6. I agree with donating them, not everyone can afford LEGO and Megablocks are just a cheaper way for a kid to get a similiar experience. I did a site:eurobricks.com search and got two: here and here. Hope that helps !
  7. These were made from aluminum not ABS which I assume contributed to the cost. Now I want a fisherman mf beard so I can make Papa Smurf .
  8. Just to you . I believe they came in the City Corner set first, but now they're in a bunch. As for the ship itself, I have to say I'm liking it more and more. While it definitely still doesn't stack up to the classic pirate sets, I actually think it's better than the QAR.
  9. A Clockwork Orange. Dystopia!!!
  10. I love it, the woodworking and interiors are really nice. I especially like that bay window on the side. Keep it !
  11. Awesome, the water techniques really are amazing. The fig posing is great as well, I like the cannonballing pirate. But why is there a dead pirate in a pirate paradise?
  12. If you have to stretch the sails to put them on, then I think you might've built the spars wrong because on both mine and in Lorentzen's brilliant review here they are actually quite baggy, even on the very top one which I find to be the "tightest." If you want to fix your sails you could try these ideas to restore them. Basically just wash with cold soapy water for about a minute, put between 2 towels, and iron. It worked for me. Hope that helps
  13. They all have a rather "cozy" feel. Nice use of the green glass piece to make a lamp. Where are those window pieces from? Are they customs?
  14. Nice work on the forced perspective. However I do think that the United Republic design should be more complex, and there should be more towers near the middle (based on the preview pic).
  15. It looks pretty lively for an LDD moc, the figure posing especially isn't something I see in a lot of them. I think the cliff faces are too square though.
  16. Thats amazing! I don't think it's missing out on any "expensive" colors, the present colorscheme is really beautiful to me. Can't wait for the fleet !
  17. I'ts not mine but there are some unofficial official ones here.
  18. Well, I the rigging and the interior, but I don't like the hull technique as much, it looks a little boxy to me. Still a good ship, and the teaser of the next one looks even better .
  19. Looks good ! I remember seeing V1 on mocpages a while ago. I think you should switch to the new colorscheme though because the grey with repeating "leaves" is kind of bland to me.
  20. That's truly amazing, everything is just so ! Much improvement from the last version, which was already pretty good. Are there cannons behind the gunports?
  21. If you need a lot of the same basic brick, you could try getting one of these.
  22. Jet Copter. It's got them awesome flick fires . Seriously though I do think it's the better set, because as Masked said the pieces are great and the design is nice. Also $/piece is better.
  23. By distance you mean number of bricks right? I think how much LDD can handle depends a lot on your computer, but you could try what I did and build it in sections and then put them all together at the end, so the program doesn't have to have as much open at the same time. Good luck!
  24. The exterior is good, but the interior is amazing! For some reason I just that dark red couch with the footrest. Great work !
  25. Do you have to be a Blue Coat to fight Red Coats around here? PIrate . Looks to me like the beginning of a comic, but i don't know .
