Remember when this guy was an alt-build? 42033 + 42034 sets. The coolest pullback combo build after the 42046-42047 for me. The rest were all kind of meh. Quirky designs for sure, but this looks almost like a set of his own. I wonder how it stands size-wise to the current Monster Jam line. Besides the dual pullback action. Edit: I've rendered it with the old pals. FITS.

Aaand some of you thought the previous PF battery box was bad 😂 Seriously, at least the mounting points are more and better positioned, but you still have to take it out. And as I've found out the bad way /using a pf remote/ - batteries can and will leak. And those screws will make you notice it waaaay later than needed.

42132 - Chopper
Kostq replied to Ngoc Nguyen's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Has anyone made this bike from spares without the chain? I've bought myself two of these, built one - it's great, yet I want to C-model it from another set too. I'm being tortured by the idea that I can build this from 42106 - many of the parts are there, yet the wheel to engine transfer would be either too wonky or bulky. 42063 comes to mind as the only bike without a chain drive. 42106 as a parts pack gives you 2x16z gear with X, one 16z with pinhole, 4 12z gears and 1 yellow 1/2L bevel 12z gear. Any tips on how to do it? -
I believe the horns prefer to go downwards to prevent impaling children or poking something in a pullback crash. by design. You can't bend flex axles in this shape, so it's the only way to get ANY safety other than the crashbeam. It's the only thing I don't like about the Monster Jam series is that beam in the front /that looks like crap, but I'm an adult and don't crash it that often/. That beam is still there from 42046...

Happy New Year to all. I've begun another MOC from 42061 - Truck Dolly. Design is not final, but I've decided to share it. It's based on the back of the 42078 MACK Anthem Truck, but the fifth wheel can be moved and locked wherever needed. This MOC is the base on which I'm building a low-boy loader trailer /and the development is stuck for about 4 months now.../. I'll post lots of stuff here soon :) Cheers! -

Well, 42112 didn't have 2k+ parts, so I didn't count it as a "big" truck. -

I doubt that there'll be another truck in 1 year. 42128 all had 2 years to come after 42098. 42078 and 42098 had 1 tho.. -

And another YouTube video for the end of the year - a combo mashup model from 42090-42091 cops'n'robbers theme -> The Police Bruiser /a lame pun for the P71 Police Cruiser/Interceptor/. It's designed after the american half-cars like the AMC Gremlin. They call them "compact cars", we call them 3-door hatchbacks... I've even made a SUV complementing the Police theme. However it didn't want to get done and I sold the sets. I still have the disassembly video, but I don't think I'll get the nerves to bugfix the SUV. If you have a 42090 and 42091 to spare - send them to Bulgaria and I'll finish it :) -

Thank you very much. The train will be added very soon to youtube, rebrickable and all the other places. Before it however - a year-long overdue submission of my other 42090 alternate builds: A simple buggy that does wheelies. Inspired by Carmageddon 1 cars, driven by the Auto Scum faction in the game. Carmageddon 1 is from 1997 so I'm shaking my walking stick here. I was 8 back then. But don't feel guilty if you haven't seen it. Continuing the post-apocalyptic motorized thematic - a VW rat rod from 42090 set. It's a VW Bug/Holden something if you squint very very hard and it's Mad Max inspired, because of these in the game /go play it!/: I have several more videos left to upload to YouTube and catch up with my MOC plans. For now this year was pretty underwhelming compared to 2020. I've sold MANY sets and scrapped at least 3 ideas for alt-builds. Don't know about you, but I feel liberated if somebody makes a MOC idea before I do. And often times - in a pretty different manner too. :) -

A one-year-later addition to my YT channel - the video for the Dumper Truck I've made from 42090. There are two more models out of this. Currently also working on: a lowboy trailer, two steam engines and a truck dolly :) Some appetizers for you :) The pistons DO actuate as they should and it has opening doors like a proper supercar ;) -

I don't see wishbones in the Lego set. Only pendular axles. -

Here come the small-scale trial-truck frenzy after this gets released. -
If you squint hard enough on Balage's video you can see the orange section of the vehicle having two BLACK parts on the orange top. Thus - two wheels. So it'll drag it's belly both directions. The blue side due to the design will have only 1 wheel, and the orange due to the chonky looks will have two wheels. Don't be surprised when the set says "INDOOR USE ONLY". This time it won't be the IR's range, nope. It'll be - would you like to scrape half of your model or not :D Just as 42065's body wasn't fully fixed in place and used GRAVITY to stay put. Or it was a part of the "suspension" - we'll never know. @racingbrick - can you take a closer photo on the transform function photo a.k.a. the only thing we have to speculate on?

Lets see who will mod iy first to have a V8 linked to the pullbacks. Also thinner front wheels and lockable steering could still be added and this could be convertable manual-pullback dual-function car. That could make it more Technic than Racers themed. I've made such stuff before in my 42106 MOCs as it had gears.
