  1. The only ones that have been confirmed to be included are Borgin & Burke's and Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. All the others are speculation or wishlists.
  2. It’s $400, not £400, so will likely be about £350 although less would be nice. However you also have to factor in inflation, as well as the fact that Lego’s gotten much more detailed recently - so today’s equivalent of the 2011 set would probably cost more now. But we don’t even know how many pieces overall or how many pieces roughly per shop or the size of shops, so speculating about the number of shops right now is an easy way to set yourself up for disappointment if you’re too ambitious. I’d love to be wrong but I’ve said many times, in my opinion 5 shops is expected and 6 would be a bonus. I’m not sure 7 is realistic. I agree. If they have too many it’ll either be repeats from sets (what’s the point, it just increases the price) or figures for the sake of figures of random characters (again, what’s the point). Edit: actually there is a point in random characters I suppose to just be shop browsers. And The Rise of Voldemort was £20 and had 4. That’s not a sensible comparison.
  3. Brick built to be consistent with other larger beasts.
  4. It's also not a leak as it's been revealed on Brickset!
  5. I'm much sadder about the fact they're ordinary footprints not minifigure ones lol
  6. Yeah I hadn't thought of that with the BYOA. It'd be perfect for it!
  7. Can relate lol. I'm just glad I'm into Harry Potter not Star Wars sets, of which there are double the quantity at double the price!
  8. I think the next torso we need is the one with the black tie from PS before they've been sorted! They had them on the 2001 sets.
  9. Very true. But it doesn't make it easier to create diversity of Ravenclaws! Lol
  10. This isn’t meant to be racist, but it’s a shame they used Cho as the Ravenclaw again. Simply because most Harry Potter characters that we know of are white, and the torso has Cho’s hands, so that really limits reusability on other characters... then again we don’t know many other Ravenclaw students at all apart from Luna obviously so I guess it’s not like we won’t be able to create a favourite character.
  11. Wow they are awesome! A shame it’s Harry and Malfoy but hey ho, it’s more house torsos, and kinda expected.
  12. Actually I think it might be illegal in the UK, and there's a law that says you have to have an item priced at the "full price" for a ceratin amount of time, essentially designed for the SCS Sofas adverts where everything is "was 999, now 499!" even though it was only 999 for a few days lol
  13. https://imgur.com/a/cf0kXwf Lol Amazon UK seems very confused right now anyway (argh how do I embed photos...)
  14. Oh sorry it's been a while since I played. Sorry!
  15. Almost certainly not the Galaxy one, as isn't that just regular Mario? (Edit: no it's not) It could be propeller Mario or balloon Mario (lol could you imagine the SMM2 version in Lego form?) or tanooki Mario or cape Mario or racoon Mario.
  16. My trouble is, I'd feel judged by the shop staff for buying a whole box. Not because I'm buying Lego, but because I'm buying an entire box of minifigs! I feel they'd think I was taking them from the kids to sell at a huge profit. But no, I would buy them and sell them at only enough more than the RRP to cover the fact they'd be buying specific ones which would take me a long while to work out what's in each one, and eBay/PayPal fees. I'd just feel judged and bad You say it didn't take long to find a new job, and I'm not trying to be rude but feel free not to answer, wouldn't "leaking confidential information that I'd signed NDAs on from my job" as a reason for dismissal from your previous job suggest you're not a trustworthy person to employ? Or were they sympathetic? That sounds even worse than I thought it did but I hope it doesn't offend you! Good to have you in the community :) So it wouldn't be too much to ask for a third Dumbledore's office that's decently sized with the eagle like the old one then? ;) Didn't even know the Room of Hidden Things was a thing lol, I'll look it up. Edit: ah, so it's the specific form of it to... hide... things...
  17. I remember I got a few from Tesco when they were £1.50 reduced. But that was before I was back into Lego so I only got a few - I think Ron, Dobby, Voldemort and Dumbledore. The thing is, I’d feel bad if I bought all of the remaining box as I’d feel like I was taking it from some poor kid and I didn’t wanna stand there feeling them as I seem to remember many people picking them up!
  18. Woah! Yeah there’s not been any of the Harry Potter CMFs in stores online or offline for at least 12 months in the UK. It’s all eBay, Bricklink and FB Marketplace now. Obviously that means you can choose your character but that does mean Harry Pyjamas, Luna and Trelawney are expensive. At least in this series there’s only 16 to collect. Of course this shouldn’t matter to me as I didn’t collect the FB ones anyway, but it does mean that t he rarer of the 16 HP ones are a little bit easier to find!
  19. It still makes me really happy that Lego are really going out of their way to include as huge a variety as possible of Minifigures and characters, and to really complete scenes. Obviously it Having it’s own CMF greatly helps this but the sets do too. I’m not one to want to buy duplicates of minifigs and CMFs to create an “army” like many of you are, but luckily I don’t even need to, as we’re getting so many figures! I was looking at the Indiana Jones sets on Brickset (my favourite theme) and realising how much the minifigs were awesome, but lacking as well. No Hovitos tribesmen in Temple Escape? No Sallah or Toht in Raiders at all? No Donavon or Brody in Last Crusade? No Oxley or Mac in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull at all? But now, they’re clearly cramming as many minifigs as they can into every set.
  20. Seriously considering doing the same. Got a bargain on Trelawney at £3 on FB Marketplace and Invisibility Cloak Harry on eBay recently, still trying to track down a Luna at a good price. Apart from that it’s just Harry, Hermione and Mad Eye Moody left (excluding the FB ones). But it’s been a pain having to pay more for specific characters!
  21. Probably because it’s a Lego exclusive currently so they don’t need to put preorders up so early to compete with other shops
  22. I guess so. It just doesn’t seem like an ad designed to appeal to adults any more than every other ad that’s designed to appeal to kids.
  23. I don’t think they’re sure how to market it though. I was recommended an ad for the Huanted House on Facebook - presumably a place where Lego is hoping to pick up a significant number of new AFOLs there, as they’re not gonna be browsing Lego S@H, Brickset, Eurobricks, Lego YouTubers, etc This is the ad: That is, in no way, an advert aimed at adults. It’s an advert aimed at kids (or adults buying for kids) just like every other of Lego’s adverts. Look at all the silly over the top expressions as they jump when they walk into the house. I think they need to work out who they’re targeting here.
  24. This is amazing! How did you get the bridge at that angle?
