Well they do seem to like having a Forbidden Forest set every year so it's certainly possible. Then again there's usually some sort of additional scenery/object in each (Aragog, lake + patronus, Grawp), and I'm not sure what they could do for that in a set like that... it'd certainly have to have multiple trees to be more than a $10 set.

There are a lot of sets in the UK with piece counts still now. It seems to be mostly exclusives, D2Cs, Ideas, Architecture, etc I’m presuming you’re referring to the torsos, not faces and hair? As 1-4 used the 2004-07 faces/hair, and in 5-7 they used the 2010-11

The other thing is, even if displaying it from the front closed up, compare how much light is let into the Haunted House to any open set with windows. You can't see anything at all.

I wouldn't want that - it makes them more limited in how much space you have to put figures in with it open (as the interior can't protrude further than the exterior) and makes it much more expensive.

As other have said, sometimes no info is better than vague info as it can lead you down the wrong path and cause confusion. All this info has decreased my excitement for DA by this point. I think this is a bit harsh though. It's in riddles likely for their own sake so they don't lose their job, as the vaguer it is, the more defendable position they are in. I don't think they're doing it in an egotistical way. Jang doesn't accept review copies, so won't get it until the official release. He may import it to get it earlier but he's not a massive HP fan so may just wait for the US release; after all, it's not like he'd be missing out on the wave of hype when they first release as it would still be the first time people could get the set for US audiences. Just2Good, maybe he'll get a review/bought copy but who knows when. He was mentioned a few pages back - I strongly recommend Jeremy Herbert :) His reviews are on the Jang-level of detail, and he does old sets too, and he's clearly a huge HP fan.

I never said I didn't want the complete set anyway that's just me, I like collecting stuff, and I was just meaning that's one of the main appeals of the set, and the castle is less but not un appealing compared to GH, CT and AT.

Yes I definitely will be! Luckily I’ve got all 2018 except Whomping Willow, so I need to hurry up on that one. Just waiting for it to drop to £40 again! But at this point I’ll happily go with £45 in case it retires soon. But yeah you’ve put my feelings exactly - I kinda can’t be bothered with leak speculation and am happy to wait for proper pictures!

It’s fun to discuss it, and I was all in on the discussion a few weeks ago, but now that we’ve seen the first wave of sets, I’ve sort of gotten a bit fed up of analysing clues... like I say, it’s fun, and of course kingnono is likely risking everything for the community which is appreciated, but at this point I’m kinda just like these clues are so cryptic I’m happy to wait until the official reveal. If I was planning on getting stuff day 1 I’d probably be more excited though. But since I’ve decided not to get the June sets until I’ve got all or most of 2018/19 ones (although I’m tempted to get the Burrow as a treat), I’m less inclined to actively speculate and search for info. Especially as I was glad the set pictures got officially revealed before they leaked, I’m happy to kinda ignore leaks for low. The other thing is, I trust Lego to do a good job and do it well. If I hype myself up with leaks, then I’ll either be disappointed if it isn’t as good / doesn’t include stuff as I’d hoped - whereas if it sucks without getting excited beforehand, I can just be like “oh well”. Lol

Lol for some reason I always assumed it was done by magic! Didn’t know there was a driver. I think it could mean literally anything. It could basically mean that it’s made of Lego, as Lego is a toy that is to be played with. Of course that’s a silly answer, but my point is basically all sets have playfeatures, and there’s so many things, story related or not, that could be regarded as a playfeature in DA. It could range from a vault with an opening door, to a crank to open the doors of Gringotts, to a fireplace that Harry can slide down in B&B. My point I guess is I think it’s a bit early to be able to speculate about those!

They are cool but I feel like they're kinda pricy for what you get. I'm assuming there's no tech in them, and it's just one of the stickers that the Lego mario reads. Also, all the people on Nintendo's videos and tweets about this are so annoying lol, saying "this should've been in the Direct" or "why are you making this instead of games" - like, do they not realise that Nintendo isn't making this lol
