You can make predictions. There is, and was in this specific case (which as you just saw by the way, we have been specifically told not to mention, so please don't bring it up as we were just told), no issue with making a prediction, as long as it stays on topic. That's what they're referring to, and there's no way it's microscale. This has been discussed many times, one of which was probably three pages back.

Wahey! We're back. Well I thought I'd have a go at some transcribing to get some extra cash so that I can justify buying some Lego Harry Potter... got about $22 from 5ish hours' work today... not too bad considering it's freelancing, but not sure any amount of Lego is worth so much boredom lol.

I take this back. I just watched AustrianLegoFan's video - for some reason I assumed there weren't any stickers on the front! But it's not stickers, it's the masonry bricks there aren't any of on the front, there's plenty of stickers, which make it look much better. I'm back in love with this set!

A seller has just the polybag sealed for the BYOA book for £4.34 on eBay. Would you guys say this is worth getting? Has anyone found any good ways to implement it into their Hogwarts setup? Or do things like this usually go much cheaper with the book included in a few years time? I'm happy to wait, and it's a cool book but I'm not bothered with the book itself really.

I'd really like to but the other Lego sets at home (which hopefully I'll finally have access to soon) are kind of also my post-exam treat... although the novelty has kinda worn off by this point lol Haha glad I'm not the only one! Congratulations :) I'm guessing you had some sort of online exam?

Are you able to provide photos? maybe with some of the other sets to get a sense of scale if you want something specific, but just so we can marvel at non-rendered photos would be lovely!

Can you go leak something please? "Harry Potter will be in a set" will do, I'm sure we'll find a way to make at least 5 pages of conversation about it. We need something to talk about before the thread goes to pot again

That's okay - when I get Whomping Willow I'll likely just be using it as "bits" of castle mismatched about too, as filler. That's a good thing to do though, it'll almost definitely look better in person (it already looks awesome!) It's very bizarre. I post on GameFAQs too - the trolling is much worse there, but the thing is... Angry console fanboy wars have been a thing for a long while and always will be a thing, and that attracts trolls in their hundreds. But... trolling over... Lego? I just don't get it lol This is a very good point that I hadn't thought of. The set designers can make whatever sets they like - as they're the only ones designing sets. But the CMF designers also need to adhere to what the set designers are and aren't making, because they're not the only ones designing (or at least choosing, I don't know how minifig design works and how it differs between sets and CMFs) minifigs. I've only got an unbuilt Great Hall so far. But for space reasons, they'll be front facing, with the minfigs likely a mixture of (visible) inside and outside, and with each modular section not in a line attched to the others but overlapping each other in places in front of each other. Whomping Willow will probably go at the back for some depth.

Also I came back after not even 24 hours and saw there were several pages of stuff so expected at least some sort of new development, and there's nothing but trolls and debates about stuff we've discussed to no end? guys don't disappoint me like that lol That's the Whomping Willow. That's very true, but less disappointing as it's only a small round tower that is no issue if you have to orient it a certain way. I don't know, it's only a minor gripe. Glad I made you laugh lol

Looks much better! Not trying to complainj but... Is it me or is the Astronomy Tower very... flat? In both shape and also colour (if you get what I mean). Another thing that I've decided I don't like about it is that it's got an open side and not just back - meaning that it might only look good from multiple angles. I don't think they had this 2-wall design for any of the other Hogwarts sets right?

Are we asking this again...? Just because [retracted] said it was minifig scale doesn't now mean it's microscale... Ah, yes, I can't wait to get my Lego Gringotts, Ollivanders, Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, the Leaky Cauldron, WH Smith, Tesco Express, Sports Direct, Boots, Debenhams and Greggs. This will make the perfect addition to my Harry Potter collection! Lol I'm on several forums and never have I seen such sass from a mod. Love it
