Well I love it! It means I can see cool Batman stuff for sale Batbrick Away!
-
Hopefully, I want one! Good choice, it is definitely better the second time round. Espeially Two-Face, you really feel sorry for poor Harvey. Great, you really need a job don't you? Trust me when I say it really is worth it, especially when you can order a volume of BTAS, a large comic and a nice Lego set, and still have change. I could never do that before. Hope you like the film anyway, I recall you not being the biggest fan of anime. I love that! Its those kind of way out there moments that really make the show, I'm ashamed of so-called "Fans of Batman" that denounce it, the tv show in reality saved Batman, bringing the character a lot of attention when sales were at an all time low It is, I reckon you'll enjoy it, unless you're one of those people that sees it as an attack on corporations, given the villain. I doubt you will though, that argument is a bit of a stretch. Yeah, I love all his episodes, one is even written by Denny O'Neill himself, based on his "Daughter of the Demon" story. Another includes Jonah Hex in a clever plt, and a further one is the most supernatural of the BTAS eps, which I really like. Ah, doesn't sound bad, if a little tired and formulaic. Is it? Oh boy do I! You and I am at opposite ends of the scale my friend, but I respect that. I do get very tired of the "Teh Most Craazy thing wit Batman ever11!1" attitude that many writers have. We need more Elseworlds damnit! Maybe one where Bruce isn't a billionare and as such has a much cheaper but just as ingenious way of fighting crime as Batman..... Er, anyway, why don't writers just go back and fill in gaps? Scarecrow, nor Poison Ivy, Mad Hatter and others don't have a definitive origin, give them one! Harvey Dent really needs a graphic novel centering around him before batman, culminating in their partnership establish in Year One. How cool would that be? I never thought of that. Still, I hope it gets retconned, it really is pretty stupid to me so far, can we please NOT have a comic where Bruce is brought to the very edge of oblivion for once please? Of course, you and I both know that this isn't the end of Bruce Wayne as Batman. Still, I want to know who this Black Glove is. Are you reading the storyline? Or do you just keep up to date? Oh yes. That said, Bolland is amazing in his artwork, you always know that the inside art will bge disappointing if the cover is Bolland and the rest isn't. And one other thing, I went to K-Mart today determined to get the 1966 Batman film, and for the very first time they didn't have it! Another day perhaps, how is the film compare alongside the series, given that I've not seen a whole lot of it? Batbrick Away!

Yes it is true! It is actually an episode off a tv show though, the animated series, and that is the head I'm planning to use to make him Batbrick Away!

Of course, naturally! We are comic geeks aren't we? My sister had to shooken off with a broom yesterday, she just couldn't stand my watching a couple of BTAS eps. My mum loves Mark Hamill's laugh however, though she foolishly prefers the face paint of Ledger to the bleached skin, which is a blasphemy against 70 years of comic history! Speaking of The Dark Knight, are you going to see it again yet? I'm thinking of a third time myself, but I think I'll resist. For now. And the upcoming Wonder Woman too. Apparently you have Gotham Knight over there somewhere though, go look for it! Does she know that he is Batman? If not, there has to be some major plotholes as a result! Exactly, we laugh at them but for the most part they are spot on characterisation wise, they just are put in campy settings and themselves made a little campier. Riddler, though I prefer the calmer version, its still that genius obsessed with leaving clues. Even Joker is a perfect transition of those 50's Dick Sprang stories. If they made the Penguin in the comics more like Meredith's version, you'd definitely pull him out of that rut writers always get him in. I've never laughed so hard as I just did now! After The Twilight Zone I'm watching this. I'll watch these eps soon though, I love how they ride out Definitely, it will complete the Bat-big behind and Bat-Nipples from Batman and Robin. It really is great isn't it? Which one's next? Speaking of BTAS, what with my working more hours recently (9, woo! ) I've been able to attack all three fronts of Lego, Comics and DVD's. I am ordering BTAS Volume 3 today, which will complete the original series! Damn, is all that by Morrison? That man is a hack, honestly, I hate his work so much. Thank goodness I'm collecting the oldies now that the current stories have gone to rot. Speaking of stupid storylines, have you heard of Morrison's Batman: RIP issues he's churning out? They concern a mysterious villain "Black Glove" setting out to destroy Bruce Wayne and Batman by making evidence support them not only being horrid people (druggies and orgy's and whatnot) but by making it seem like Thomas Wayne shot his wife and is still alive! Aargh! Morrison even bragged at the comic festival that this storyline will be "The greatest, most interesting and most life changing event in Batman's life in the past 70 years of comics!". WHAT A HACK! I honestly think the mystery arch villain he can't shut up about will be himself! On a calmer subject, the second front of comics was pushed forward on Friday when I ordered The Greatest Joker Stories Ever Told. I'm so excited, considering I get the REAL Joker stories, the ones when he was still funny and deadly, not just a ridiculous killing machine he has been reduced to now. I just hope it was the original and not the remake which isn't as good. Very nice, I've read the new colour book, though i prefer the original, the bright colouring gives it its own feel. Batbrick Away!

Very nice! I love the design of it, so haphazard and destroyed, a total post apocalyptic mess. I think there should be al ittle more debris on the ground, but I do love how well the grey and bley has mixed. The boards over the windows are great too. You just don't think before you post do you?

It's obviously a reference to the Batman: The Animated Series Volume 2 episode "The Mechanic" in which an African American man who looks not unlike this minifig face fixes Batman's car for him, a tedious job that would be very helps by a mechanical arm Batbrick Away!
-
Thanks, but how on earth is it Nolanesque? It is WAY out there, and is exactly like this even in the most unrealistic interpretations. Ah, thanks! Now if only I could find that blue bucket* I do still like my toilet though, it flushes! *Note: This is not a reference, I really have lost my only blue bucket piece when I took apart my fire station. Thanks mate, glad you commented. As for the penguin guns, the biggie is just a statue, and the little ones are just me being lazy! Thanks, I hope to make a comic which will feature it as a reoccurring location, a place where Bats can search for criminals and the like. Batbrick Away!

Wow! sweet! Must Have! I love that Jokermobile Mighty Megs, sheer brilliance! The face at the front is really cool, and I love the pruplr flames out the back along with the insane engine. Really cool. The spidermobile not as good but still very nice, I actually like the web out the back for some reason, and the colours are done pretty perfectly. It also makes a brief but hilarious appearance in BTAS vol 2 Joker's Wild when he steals it. And he also had long running car during the 50's I believe, that was never named, but was very similar. Batbrick Away!

These are great! I love the chef, and the mechanic, so inspired there. Grill Mark and Dagger Dan are also very neat, the robot arms really are a lot of fun aren't they? Batbrick Away!

I agree with this. Just like the bond movies more I'd say though, how could NO-ONE spot a flipping rocket coming out of a volcano each night!?! The insanely large laser is really the cherry on top, I love how posable it is. Awesome, thanks! That's better than I thought. I would love that so much, imagine the level where you would infiltrate Dr Inferno's base(s)..... "My God! He was in the large building marked "Secret Base" with a gargantuan poster of his face the whole time!" I finally have the Deep Sea Quest and Volcano Base now, they arrived the other day. Deep Sea Quest is better than the pics let on, the military style boat is awesome, and I love the inferno stickers. Does anyone else love applying the Inferno stickers? Anyhoo, Break Jaw is awesome, I love his face and jaw so much. Slime Face is also very cool, he has a unique sliming torso and his face is more different from a Joker Bomb than you'd expect. The smile is different and if foaming with slime, as is the left eye (his right) that is obscured partially by all the slime. He really is cool. The sub is good too, a strange design sure, but some neat little features. So many good parts too though, given the space it takes up I'll have to see whether it gets demolished when I get the whole theme, though given that a number of vehicles go on water I doubt it, it looks awesome when going up in battle against the boat. Did that help anyhow? I'll answer any questions too? And of course the volcano Base it "Teh Aesommmes!",the giant laser is a heap of fun, and the base can be made into a volcano with three side by using the clicky joints which hold the sides on. Claw-Dette is brilliant, a nice female torsos, the shiny metal shoulder is a nice touch. Fire Arm has one of the best heads ever, that is totally going to make and appearance in Interactive Apocalypse. Dr Inferno is of course the king though, one of my favourite minifigs ever Batbrick Away!
-
Very nice! I love the three guns at the front, brilliant use of that "throwaway" piece for the top guns. I agree with the others it needs bigger wheels, but I love how the minifig sits on it. One other problem that really bugs me though: the body is WAAAY to high for my liking. Bigger wheels might help, but I think you need to lower that body so it looks more sleek like the movie. A brilliant rendition of the Tumbler though. Batbrick Away!

Definitely Lego Agents, think about it. Characters - check, you have so many henchmen and four goodguys which can be expanded on. The vehicles are all there and the awesome villain locations too Batbrick Away!
-
No, that was it. Ah, go for the clone troopers then I say! The thing is, my design makes it a little less sturdy but ultimately I'm happy with it. Ah I see. I still don't have any chase hair despite getting Missions 7 and 8. And it seems the Batusi is quite popular, perhaps you should make more 60's vigs? Batbirck Away!

Sorry! Late reply. I love the blank Attack part 3, the dragons talking about the Knights of Awesome was hilarious (I could've sworn that was said before...), and the fact that they left poor M:Tron man behind was also great. Will that arc continue? Then new one is good to seethe relationship between Shwartz, Galanos and Captain Amarillo. I like how everyone considers Shwartz to be a few screws loose Batbrick Away!

My Deep Sea Quest and Volcano Base finally arrived! I love both sets, especially the Volcano Base, and the minifigs are spectacular, especially Dr Inferno. The fact that I got three robotic arms in one set is also brilliant, now I can't wait for the rest of the sets to arrive! Batbrick Away!

I just don;'t get it, how could any man go parading around in a batsuit with something that noticeable? , I like that very much. With my family it is near opposite, they won't let me have a "Batman Night" (Me and my friends watch BTAS, Mask of the Phantasm, Batman Begins, Gotham Knight and Batman and Robin to see how far we can last ). They find it embarrassing that I want to put up DC posters in my room, and my sister plays the guitar right in front of the television when I'm watching Bat-anything. Still, I did win one battle: comics. My mother no longer asks "Do you really want this though Thomas?" instead just complies and orders them. Yesterday I texted her to order The Greatest Joker Stories Ever Told from her uni, but unfortunately they couldn't find it, so they said they'll tell her if they can order it tomorrow. My father likes watching Batman with me though, which is good, though that is undone by my sisters thinking that crucial bits are funny, like Dick Grayson's parents dying What a coincedence, for that is exactly the foe she'll be going up against in the movie! And apparently Bruce Timm stated that he'd love to do a Flash and Green Lantern film, and apparently there are two more Batman monies to be done, two! Just keep telling yourself it's because we're lonely, like I do I love that, the maid just calmly tells him there's a phone call while Alfred is in prison. Ah, what a program! It's like he's trying to get them to return to crime! I haven't watched part 2 yet, but I will. What I love is that Catwoman admits Batman is the world's greatest escape artist, yet she leaves him in an elaborate death trap And yes, she is worth a look... The Penguin ones are my favourite, I wish the comics would look to this interpretation for inspiration as really it is spot on. Just make him of course have darker motives, not do the "waugh waugh!" and be a bit more evil, but Meredith practically has his conniving personality down, not ot mention just as he should in the comics he often fronts his crimes with legal motives or in fact commits them without breaking a single law at all! I'm sure Youtube has them all surely? Batbrick Away!

Thanks, because i remember it looked horrible in the photos, but it really doesn't now! How many gold tiles do you get? I see, I'm surprised they haven't one, considering this is one of the very few themes I am so getting every set of. That is pretty cool, I love the revolving vehicle section but I want to see Dr Inferno's vehicles, and know his plan. Still, I bet a lot of people that this theme will be one of the next Lego games, it's perfect for it! Batbrick Away!
-
I should have done that, but they also had a lot of chew marks from my childhood, I collected these since I was four you know. Uuurgh, I hate Morrison! The Batcycle was an afterthought really, just discard that as a way of filling up the road, and if you're really desperate, imagine him as Jason Todd wearing the batsuit STILL being forced by hack writers to be cool Thanks Mate, I'm glad you really like it, it seems I am getting much better at constructing larger mocs now. I don't tihnk I'll add purple as that is not a trademark colour of the character, many versions have him simply in black pants. Thankyou for your comment on the roof design, I'm glad it doesn't impede the moc. I agree the toilet is too high, but i'm still glad how it cam out. Incidentally, what was Lego's design? I can't wait to make a comic with it either, soon as I get a good program! Thanks for commenting Sinner, I'd be happy to make a wallpaper version if I knew how, do I just take a larger picture file? My apologies, but I never was at home with technology as others are. May I ask why you'd want a wallpaper? Anyway, thanks! Thanks, get Two-Face though. Now. He is awesome. Totally badass. He has a tommygun. He has a coin. Half good. Half evil. All pure awesome! Batbrick Away!

Ah yes, I remember now. How are the wheels and suspension? Oh, that's no good. Hey, I consider getting Agents first better though, that's six sets to four, and agents is my favourite theme of the year. But I guess it also means I'm way ahead of you in the DC Lego department Do you mean a collection on S@h or in a shop? Batbrick Away!

Are you kidding!? Batman singing was one courageous act, what a hero! Yeah, Firefly would be easy and a nice way to be happy of a possibility of a new villain in sets. Point, I hope we get a heroes release soon, it'd be good to know what Gordon does and confirm Alfred's role too. Batbrick Away!

Ah ,yes. I read this the other day, thanks for bringing it up. I love that Tumbler, so cool. Yet the most amazing and disturbing thing of all is that crotch bulge on the batsuit! Look Away! Point, like BTAS right? I can only hope my family does the same. Though I am past sixteen and the bashing continues, though I do have six members in my family. Luckily The Dark Knight and Gotham Knight helped sway their views a wee bit due to the inherit darkness. My brother respects BTAS' darkness, but my sisters shrug it off because it is animation, they don't understand art transcends mediums Point, BUT (and I'm not just trying to defend it because I love the show) you knew as an episode that this would happen, but why would Robin suspect a simple fan letter from an anonymous wannabe? Anyway, the dynamic duo have fallen for easier traps in the comics It really is quite funny: *Batman reaches for vial - crowd cheers* *Scarecrow tackles Bats - crowd boos* *Batman hits Scarecrow - crowd cheers again. etc* Very good point, half of them (Circe, Gigante) I only found out through Justice League and Justice League Unlimited. She is a very good character thoug,h il ike that she can go up against Ares and Hades too. It was a joke, this was the fifth time I've recommended it. Hmmmm......maybe I'll hold on to you yet! Haha! Specific, don't forget the taser that often electrocutes people that try to take it off, I love that this was also in TDK. But the 60's was the best! Must get one! , that was brilliant! My favourite bits: "I have microscopically analysed it, here are my findings, from this single strand of hair, I've been able to determine: that the man is six feet one and three quarter inches in height, is thirty six years old, has flatfeet, wears glasses, speaks in a deep voice and suffers from hay fever!" "Good luck sir! Reckon the disguise will work?" "Let's hope so Alfred." Not to mention all the cat-puns, Catwoman wearing her costume still in jail, and Commissioner Gordon being proud of his jail's inability to keep one crazy in a cell! Batbrick Away!
-
I don'y remember you telling me you have mission 3! Good job! Is it a very good set? Because I'm curious over the ATV. Funny, I get all the extra henchmen first, I'm really looking forward to how slimy Slimeface's face is. Wow, double word usages! Better for them to come out sooner though, because then they are on sale sooner Batbrick Away!
-
ARRRGH! Get out! Go Away! Scram! No seriously, that's alright. Usual in the comics the mask is cloth that goes over his face, but stronger to keep that bat-shape. Though i believe occasionally he is shown with a solid mask. Batbrick Away!

Really? I thought it'd be right up your alley. The cynical and absurd humour, it's all there! Oh well, atleast I can take solace in the fact that I know a good show when I watch one Oh, and i have a friend like that, very grumpy. They;re everywhere here for a low low price which is good, though my family being the absolute annoyances they are whenever it comes to anything Batman related won't "get" it, sigh Is your family like that? Ah yes, not the best of eps but very enjoyable. Though I think you're being too harsh on Dick, how was he supposed to know it contains an adrenalin charged absorbant? Great animation when Batman is falling off the building too. Did you notice the crowd boos when Scarecrow gets the upperhand and cheers when Batman does? Oh, and you'll feel right at home with the Clock King ep, Temple Fugate is hilariously punning. Glad to see you're interested, poor Wonder Woman, very underrated she is. She doesn't have any well known rogues to the public, we really need a live action film with her. Too bad Joss Whedon left the production, he made Firefly, have you seen it? Good idea! Now let's make it a reality, I already have some ideas and shall begin building soon! You are too, but let's not let people think we are.........close Perfectly alright, Matches is finally out and you made a fool of my Batpod. A good job then. Batbrick Away!
-
Exactly, what is the point of another bat character if they have no significance? I'm full of them That's disappointing, I hope they reveal her fully in tandem with several other characters like with Bane/Clayface and Ivy. Batbrick Away!
