  1. Great stuff! The first guy to be offed I believe. Like DJForce said some great panels here, looking forward to the next, how many parts can we anticipate? Batbrick Away!
  2. A bad Bond movie that never stops being enjoyable! That Oil Platform in the background of mission 4 would be great, like Diamonds are forever! Get it! Get it! Get it! I'm just getting really excited/frustrated for my Volcano Base and Deep Sea Quest coming. This will most likely be the only theme except for Castle and batman I actually keep together Batbrick Away!
  3. Great job, I love the old school building techniques you've used. Nice inspiration use too, I love the windows and small vehicle, along with platform. The two dishes at the top make it look a lot cooler too, great work! Sorry to hear about your bricklink experience though, do you still plan on that set? Batbrick Away!
  4. Oh that is beautiful! I love it so much. I made my own Batpod which I am pretty proud of but this is something else! Mind if I also build one? Batbrick Away!
  5. Good point. This really gives me hope now that Killer moth is in for a slew of unknown characters in the sets. For villains the list goes on: Mad Hatter, Clayface, Manbat, Killer Moth, Deadshot, Talia Al Ghul, Ra's Al Ghul, Ubu, Firefly, Black Mask, Hugo Strange, Hush, Maxie Zeus, Ventriloquest, KGBeast (just so I can use the metal arm ) and etc. Let's just hope the line continues..... I'll try and find it sometime then. Though I do always enjoy watching any Penguin ep, Burgess Meredith was hilarious. Good job, Mission Six looks to be the best set of the theme. Anyway, I found the Tumbler yesterday in town, and bought it! It was very fun to build, but believe me when I say there is no way you can scale this baby down! It is so tall batman would need a ladder to climb up in and it is wider and longer than the Battank! Seriously, I'm going to take it apart and use the pieces (there is about 20 black 1x1 slopes ) for future Batmocs. I've kept my Wetwire Tumbler instead. That said, it is great to get joker again and the popsicles make the set worth it alone. The Icecream truck is absolutely inspired and the stickers look fantastic. I decided on Doctor Roboto, and gave him a goatee! Because it's probably a trait you have as well? It is different, I had my holidays a while back, I remember them being longer than yours. I know, I thought that was quite funny actually. Glad oyu loved it. Two-Face being easily the best DC character ever was done much justice in this film, Eckhart did a superb job as him. I love how the split personality wasn't thrown at us so much as being made known by his sudden outbursts (did you jump in your seat too when he screamed "SAY IT!" in the hospital?), accepting Two-Face as his identity and of course his coin dependancy. His Maroni scene was badass too. Plus his Harvey Dent music which was very uplifting (I might of shed a tear the second time round ) was cleverly warped into the dark piece at the finale. Both vehicles were simply wonderful: "He missed!"*Trailer flips* Yeah, the ejection of the batpod was sweet, I could barely hold back my excitement there. Plus I think the Lamborghini scene was possibly a hint at a sleeker Batmobile in the future. Naturally. You forgot the biggie: The Killing Joke. Seriously, the way Joker reveals he was actually the biggest schemer of all and that his plan was to make Dent nuts was straight out of the comics, especially this part: "Madness is like gravity, all it needs, is a little.....push! Hahahahaha!" Oh they were hilarious, and when he mouthes the word "Tn" to the police officer and asks Gordon for one more minute when he's going to kill an unconscious batman. What did you think of Crane's cameo? I'll post mine sometime and you can see if you like. I Also started building your yellow tumbler! Not again! Not again! Batbrick Away!
  6. Loving manbat, even though the arms falters my belief that we may get him in Lego. The way his head is done with that hairpiece is awesome tohugh, and it's great to get Batgirl, a fig I really want in the real world. I really must get this, I simply must find the money. I haven't seen Lego Indy for PC yet, are they still releasing them in that format? Batbrick Away!
  7. Very good, this is a very long part. I love that the M:Tron guys never get a break, and it's good to see the return of Captain Amarillo and a reference to the alien plot too. Batbrick Away!
  8. I bought the Tumbler: Joker's Ice Cream Surprise FINALLY! Despite naysayers it is a very good set, worth the ice cream truck alone. The bigness is annoying but the parts are fantastic, I might do a review, should I? Batbrick Away!
  9. Absolutely perfect! They really have that "Lego" feel a lot of decals lack. I think you should try and include a chain print from the coat down to the legs though, that would be great. Thanks for sharing! Batbrick Away!
  10. Told you that you shouldn't judge a movie by its trailer! Seriously though, I agree. I watched it twice and it is better the second time. Batbrick Away!
  11. Oh except him, way too obscure! What was that article posted not long ago that mentioned Batzarro though, I could've sworn it did! No, I mean where in the video is it? Well you're one up still though. I'll order Volume 3 off of Ebay soon I reckon, I've seen a good deal. Plus it has the best concentration of eps. Tassie FINALLY got the Tumbler. i'm going to buy it on sale next time I go into town, once again leaving me strapped for cash. Oh dear. On a slightly related subject I was very bored in Maths class today and drew my own supervillain complete with collarless trenchcoat. I quite like him, he's rather cartoonish with a cyborg half head and arm. I just can't think of a good name, Doctor something... And how was it? Good luck! In the meantime the Iceberg Lounge is reaching near completion. I know it is a less known location in the Batverse but I really want a place that isn't Arkham where the rogues can hangout among the public. Plus it being built on a 48x48 baseplate makes it rather impressive I also made a Lego Batpod, which I'm really happy with, as I find it is better than most out there in my opinion. It uses a helpful little trick from the Agents Swamp Raid set I got from the online instructions. Now hurry up and post your Goody Bag so I can post my stuff Batbrick Away! Batbrick Away!
  12. I'm really glad that you re giving the spotlight to some of the other characters though, with all these different arcs you decide to keep creating are you still able to keep track over what should happen when? Schwartz's robot? Didn't he fly away with the Star Justice vehicle? I do like your offbeat style, there seems to be something I can't quite pin that marks this one from other comics, might be the laptop! Anyhoo, as for the recent final part of the story, very good! I love the twist, you managed to foreshadow it nicely without making it really obvious and it took me by surprise. Yuo still have yet to top the Valkyrie one though Great to see certain mysterious characters back, I laughed at their plan "Buzz and Hover" and to "Abduct Farmers"! Of course, what else would they do? Batbrick Away!
  13. Hahaha! Thati s an excellent little twist KDog, the ending is brilliant, how you think up these quirky things is beyond me! I love how Scouse is not put off at all by the robot since she is made of magnets too Now I'm just awaiting the inevitable meeting between Shwartz and Valkyrie! Batbrick Away!
  14. Oh, I was hoping for them to take advantage over their glow-in-the-dark pieces! Honestly, with the chances of getting Killer Moth, no character is "too vague"! Where is the Mesmeriser part? I can't find it. And hopefully it would come with a mf sized manbat head. Really? Hmm, this will either be hilarious or embarassing Ah, you're lucky to atleast have the BTAS volumes though, I have to order mine. And the special edition Lego sets too. I hear the Batlego sets are turning up in Britain tohugh, you seen any now? Good point, though I'm happy to say I went on opening night so I saw it before 99% of the world. Too bad you lived in such a populated place, it would've been cool to go to the premier. Point, i'll get around to finishing now that it is the weekend. Oh yes, just hope to raise some hopefully helpful points I read it, I just didn't think you lifted so many. I think I might try that what with my inability to draw good looking realistic faces. Love the agents though, so stereotypical yet so cool. Oh, and make sure you wedge aliens into the plot somewhere! Batbrick Away!
  15. Good idea, though I think play sets with stands don't happen very often. And odn't use wretches, this works better: "Like God, I view the insignificant specks of humanity from the vastness of space itself, and soon, I will wield the power of God upon these tiny insects with a ray powerful enough to project a spot on Neptune! Bwahahaha!" Exactly! Except the escape pod should be in the space station, along with a space based villain! Rock-it or something perhaps? Agreed again, like you Batman is nostalgia, so while it saddens me slightly to admit it this truly is the theme of the year for me. Didn't I post a "Quantum Megaton Temporal Destabiliser" back a while ago? You copycat! Batbrick Away!
  16. Oh that'd be lovely! I'd also love to see an armoured batsuit like of DKR which would look less high tech than the BB one we have and more bulky. A black TDK versio would also be great. And a winter one. And a Batman Beyond version. And a dark grey classic suit! Oh I agree that a massive hat would be better, but I'd have no qualms in a coloured top hat. I must say the Mad Hatter is the single most criminally underrated villain ever, completely ignored in comics despite the fact that his gimmick (delusion and hypnotism) can create some of the most interesting stories. His BTAS incarnation is my favourite, you'll see when you get up to him in season 1 and 2. Yeah, but they won't come out with ANOTHER arm design so soon, so I reckon a modified Maxifig like that Harry Potter fella Hagrid, that would work best I believe. Seeing as I made the wetwire tumbler (with a few mods) in black successfully, I think a yellow one (with some comical mods) would also look rather good, and hilarious That Spambox story really is aching to be told! I know in every topic we talk in I always struggle not to recreate the Batman 08 dilemma That was when the story fell apart big time. I'd love to see a movie done where Batman becomes a vampire, there is such a good opportunity mine in that comcept if they don't stuff it up. Mostly I'd love to see it as a DC animated film so it could be dark like the recent slew of their films. Speaking of which, have you seen Gotham Knight for sale yet? It will be worth the wait trust me, unlike Spiderman and Superman adaptations the little bits that aren't comics accurate are actually there for a brilliant reason, both plotwise and thematic wise. I trust you are seeing it on opening night yes? I will sometime. I drew her on pad paper, and it was a bit worn from making mistakes, so I'm drawing a bigger version which in my opinion looks better (more curves ). Sure, but pm is easier unless you really want me to do it via e-mail. i haven't read it all, but so far oyu have a great concept and execution, I just think in your eagerness to jump into action you've made some lines a little sketchy. You go by pictures? Curious, I never do unless drawing women of which I am horrible at. Funny, you find men hard to draw and I find women hard to draw. I think cheekbones could help though. Okay, now you're just spamming Batbrick Away!
  17. No I meant more batsuits in general, like a Batman Beyond style suit etc. I'd be happy with a green top hat myself for Mad Hatter, it would work. I think Man Bat owuld work best as a "Dinosaurs" theme like construction. But you are spot on for Clayface, i can't believe we never saw it! Indeed, so lonely Still, you're a year and a half older, plenty of time left to show you up! , don't worry, I was joking too. No problem, and it'll be big if that is any consolation, maybe even a Brainbox yellow Tumbler? That would be quite cool geeky actually, it could show how we destroy every thread we ever visit! I love most about the first bit (which was ruined by the second and third parts) that it showed that even in the deepest depths from which he cannot hope to climb out of, Batman still manages to strive for what is right........until he kills the Joker and drains his blood naturally....... Stop making me jealous! Next time i'm in town I'll ask some questions at the library, and if they don't, I'll ask questions again. Every. Single. Day. Agreed. Muhaha! I watched it again just then, and I must say it was brillianter (brillianter? ) than the first movie. You really feel for both Harvey and Bruce, specifically the former and his tragedy, his musical cue listen out for, it is a very inspiring piece flipped on its head in the darker bits. As good as Heath was, i think I liked Aaron Eckhart more, he really made the character likeable, dark, tragic and most important of all, very split. I did, thanks for that. Still reading it, I love your character designs, in school recently I'm drawing women to improve, and i must say that they are very...curvy I'm really proud of my Talia Al Ghul drawing. Anyway, back to you, I hope you don't mind if I make my own suggestions? I'll pm them to you soon if that's okay. One thing is that I think the men's chins and faces in general really need differing, throw a couple of characters some cheekbones, a scar, baggy eyes and more narrow faces etc, they look a bit similar right now. Very well drawn don't get me wrong though! Thanks again for letting me read it. Batbrick Away!
  18. Batbrick

Great job luxorV! Thankyou very much for remembering this, and I love oyur concept. Sure as other and yourself have mentioned the colours are al ittle off, but overall you have nailed the idea of a multipedal mech, I love the different poses this badboy makes Batbrick Away!
  19. Very good point actually, for half a minifig he sure does kick absolute megablocks! I'm surprised really, normally you and I are on the same wave length. Oh naturally, and two glass panels which act as "eyes" I'd love that if it did two things: 1. Be able to stand up straight on a display. 2. Have a decent Agents space vehicle. Which opens up to reveal another pie! Batbrick Away!
  20. Good point, I thought it was tackled well with Tim Sale as it was fairly messy but overall straight still. I'm getting all the agents sets, plus as many castle sets as I can, but the big problem is my trying to get BTAS volumes 3 and 4 as well as comics, help! Well, from the pics of the game and info, possible new figs are: Gordon, Killer Moth (unexpected! ), Manbat, Mad Hatter, Clayface and one other one I forgot. This plus extra allies and Batsuits means that the theme can easily continue Exactly, it'll be even worse if I get a girlfriend! (Well, I hope I get one ) That's surprisingly greedy, though I guess you could demand twice as much. Good to have friends at all though eh? What with your punning and fanboyism it must be a rare breed that can put up with you! I just think it suits. Plus I have loads of yellow following the aquaraiders and I can't spare blue or especially dark blue. It'll look snazzy. By what did you mean with a Batbrick/Brainbox creation thread though? Oh, something, much, MUCH more sinister! Heres the link to make it easy: Isn't that the one where only Killer Croc and Two-Face are left at the end? I think the first part was the best of that story. I really need to get onto the library about storing comics. But, er, um, eh, I sort of understand that Cheetah thing..... Oh, and when are you seeing TDK? When is it out in Britain? Me nad my friend are seeing it again tomorrow night! Batbrick Away!
  21. Haha! This comic gives me flashbacks to the moon walker kitty! Very nice photography as usual, I love that you used the mechanism as it is a very fun set. And i agree with the others, if these were ever to be made into an "unofficial" book then I would buy it! Batbrick Away!
  22. I can't answer why that it is like that in the comics, but in the animated series it had to be like that so it could be properly animated, otherwise you'd get this line moving around all the time. Cool, I probably won't see it in cinemas though as I have, as mentioned before, an extremely tight budget. Ha, you have no space and I have no money! Yeah, I though about making the vigs a while ago, but then I waited for Harley Quinn, and then again I'm waiting for next year's sets. I must say after all those characters in the game, some will HAVE to be in the next wave (assuming there is a next wave, which is likely I think). Stop confusing ME! For the third time there were no other suspects! Ah yes, I have the unfortunate timing of coming to uni at the same time that my mother is on her final year there.......awkward Oh Gosh I was tired last night wasn't I? I really need to get more sleep.... Hey good idea. I still want ot make you a Brainboxmobile, to get rid of some tires and yellow. When is your birthday in october? And I still have to explain via minivig how you keep getting a hair cut... Yeah I looked at the empire trailer comparison, pretty slick. I'll watch the trailer now as my computer is running properly again. They are very funny, check out the new Dark Knight video. Batbrick Away!
  23. Oh c'mon! What are you my doppelganger? Don't tell me you're left handed as well! I've noticed, what did you think of the Two-Face two-parter? I can't recall if oyu liked the second part or not. I watched it again today and i must say the end is powerful stuff, three great scenes at the end: the suspenseful coin flip, the schizo outburst and the glimmer of hope at the end. I have yet to see Hellboy actually, or the new one. I hear they are quite good. Have you seen them? I definitely agree, but what I love about it as well is that it doesn't stick there, there are some very comical yet definitely still modern stories (Joker's Favor), then comical and 60's one like The Last Laugh interspersed with the darkness of Two-Face, tragedy of Mr.Freeze and more detective stories like On Leather Wings. Atleast now you'll be able to critique my BTAS vigs properly when I make them. Great description there, I might use that one day. Wrong, there was Thorne as well remember? Plus Killer Croc was the side dish suspect later. Question is: Does Harvey having some anger trouble make him a villain? Same case, even less believable but it happened. Not to mention Bullock is heavily implied throughout the series to have had dirty dealings in the past. , I want to find out who's idea it was to make a crisis in the first place, it really makes you dizzy keeping up with it all... Thanks, I'd like to check it out but there isn't a supply of comics anywhere here that you don't have to buy sadly. Mine will be part based off what little I have seen in the comics, mixed with the BTAS version and my own flair. Here is the BTAS one: Of course, mine will be MUCH, MUCH smaller! But you get the idea. Does Britain work the same as Aus does? If so that puts you about a year and half older than me. Yes, and those Agents pics! Any details on the next Treat or is that a surprise? I like the "Seven Ages of Batman" one. I have yet to watch the trailer as the computer is lagging as all heck due to exceeding my bandwidth (Damn you Twilight Zone!). So as soon as that gets going i'll be sure to check it out. I am definitely going to buy the novel one day but for now I am stuck with my little profits... BTW, have you seen those hilarious Marvel vs Dc videos on youtube? Batbrick Away!
  24. I will not tolerate this insolence much longer! Oh if only. The only problem I see is that the Turbocar set should have one more fig, that'd be wonderful... I plan to make an army of Agents with different heads! The figs to me are the best part of the line. The hair is great as you say, I've got plans to use some for Bat characters. And Breakjaw's, er, jaw will come in handy for some Castle orcs. And Id I ever make a KGBeast fig that robotic arm will come in handy. I'm actually one of the few who isn't in favour of a space set so much. However, I love the idea of a giant orbital laser for a Badguy (I want a different set of villains for wave 2) and it'd be cool to get space based henchmen! Batbrick Away!
  25. Yeah, I'm back on dark Victory right now, it's pretty clever how the Holiday duo fit into Year One. Though I did pick up one little fault, in Year One Bruce states he calls it the Batcave, while in DV he tells Dick he hasn't thought of giving it a name. This just goes to show just how much I really need to get a life, but then again, I think I enjoy not having one! I was born in 1992! Luckily I watched the reruns which were aired, I remember Clayface's pycho moment followed by electrocution scared the willies out of me! Oh, don't remind of that episode, BTAS has by far the largest amount of brilliant eps, but also shares some of the biggest stinkers. Luckily by Season three they are all but gone. Yes, my cousin and I watch this episode for laughs quite often, it isn't horrible, just plain weird. "Psychic vibrations Alfred!" indeed. You'll have to excuse me, but I'm assuming you really liked the two parter, I can't tell with you, you don't go as ecstatic as I do over things Ron Perlman is great, Hellboy now correct? Oh yes, I love the second part, especially Clayface's personality override and subsequent breakdown at the end. As you say about Germs, he is probably my favourite one shot character of the series, just for the eccentricity and that badass seawater interrogation! The good thing about season one is that after it has introduced the main rogues gallery you won't get as much Nostromos villains, and not as many Joker eps. Lets face it, Joker is awesome, but when you get too much of him you end up with more duds than.....er...something that generally isn't considered a dud. I think Bullock was only frowned on by Bats though? Wasn't his rather anti-heroic attitude a clash against Batman in earlier eps? I know that there weren't any other suspects though. He'll be back I'm sure of it, as will another "final" crisis It is on a 48x48 baseplate so I'm really struggling to get enough bricks, but I think I'll manage. It will have a bar, the "iceberg" pond (surrounded by small tables), a higher up platform where Pengy eats dinner with higher guests of clients, Pengy's suite and the little room to the side where he deals weapons and information. I know space is a huge problem for you, you'll have to give in one day I reckon and trash some sets for parts. Looking forward to it, I'll let you go first naturally, you started it after all. "Which internets do we hack?" "All of them!" That annoys me to no end, I read this last week and rolled my eyes at the mention of "Napier". Still, a great list, you should check out their "Dark Knight Fortnight". Batbrick Away!
