  1. I'd definitely go with Art Deco or if further inspired by BTAS Dark Deco. It really is a wonderful style. Batbrick Away!
  2. You ARE joking right? Bookworm? Batbrick Away!
  3. I didn't know that, thanks. What do the glasses look like? I imagine not very Toht-ish. Nice job on Hugo too ! (I use the goggle head) I don't know, he ends up looking far too boyish and unintimidating. Dock Ock head atleast gives that same level of intimidation and malice he has in the film. Batbrick Away!
  4. Thanks for that confirmation, too bad he doesn't. But I still reckon he might do something with it, he'd have to have a special attack. Oh, and Batgirl and Manbat look great. I love that Batgirl has her own colour batarangs, what a neat touch, and her moves look pretty unique too. Next up I want to see a full Manbat vid. Batbrick Away!
  5. Massive agreement here, a lot of people actually believe this movie is in planning and it absolutely isn't at all. Nolan said he only planned one film with BB, and later chose a second. He hasn't even decided whether or not to stay on as director. Though you are wrong about Catwoman, Nolan never said any dislike for her. Ultimately this means we can dismiss news for the next 6 months really, because all of it will just be fake. Batbrick Away!
  6. Er, how is sewing question marks into your suit unrealistic? It's crazy, which is what that Riddler is, so I think you're mistaking the realistic with the everyday, which would totally dilute the Riddler. Batbrick Away!
  7. Yeah, it'd better come with atleast three of those dynamite pieces. Plus another cool Nazi vehicle couldn't hurt. Erm, again I repeat, because I want both Marion AND my custom Talia, and they both use the same torso, so I get another one in that set. Yippee. Two, I have the crazy smiley one, I used his head for Doctor Strange. I agree, I just want a different Bruce Wayne head then, so I can use more of the current Bruce Wayne head as generic characters. Batbrick Away!
  8. The old Batman 1966 movie with Adam West. Oh goodness, it was hilarious! Batbrick Away!
  9. Go Alfred! He seems pretty fit, i love how he always carries the tray. But the best part to me is the classic Alfred butler pose with his hand/s behind his back, so cool. But where is this tray attack? I can't see any part of the video where he uses it? Batbrick Away!
  10. Awesome stuff, I love the slick look of the ship, even with all that dust. I do agree a tiny spice of colour could help, but I love it as it is. A very deadly machine for sure, I'd hate to go up against it! Batbrick Away!
  11. Nice to see an old nostalgic creation. Do you build much better now? I like the construction, if only it was a bit more symmetrical you'd have a really well built mech, because the basic construction is quite good. Thanks for sharing! Batbrick Away!
  12. , what a jerk! I like this guy, he is lovable in his own I-could-never-stand-him-for-one-second way. It also might be that I have a friend just like him.... I wonder where this line will lead. And thanks for that bit of info KDog. Batbrick Away!
  13. Very good point! I'll see how I go in terms of cash, as I don't want to spend too much of it. I do really love that dark brown though... It is pretty gutting, you got the better deal in the long run my friend, and you'll pay! Definitely, I'd love to see a review of the calender as funnily enough that will decide if I but the Troll Wheel. Because if it is good enough I'll order it from S@h, but since the order price is high I might as well chuck in the Wheel to make it more worth it. Batbrick Away!
  14. Wow! That castle is looking beautiful. So well made, I love the studless river, and the massive, imposing look. The dark bley pieces fettered throughout serve nicely to make it look real too. The way you've decorated it, with the flags and weapons ois awesome too, the whole thing looks so much like a real castle. Thanks for sharing, I hope it continues, it's certainly given me some inspiration for my Wayne Manor. Batbrick Away@!
  15. "Indiana Jones, someday I always knew you'd come stealing my fame, I never doubted that, with the release of Indy 4 something made it inevitable." This is quite cool, when was the 30th anniversary? I mean, is it old or new, because I could've sworn this was a while ago Good to see Johnny still gets the recognition he deserves though! Batbrick Away!
  16. Thanks for the brilliant review Whitefang! This set looks very, very good, even if I can't afford to buy it. I love how each corner has a faction's theme, and the figs are great with so many cool little bits. I was hoping to see this review for a while so thanks for that, now I just have to wait for the other castle sets to get here! Batbrick Away!

    Indy Sets

I'd love that. POersonally, Indy is one of the few themes where all I want is vehicles, because I love those 30's mobiles they're making. Which is why I really hope they make the Tank set with Sallah, Marcus, Indy, Henry, General Vogel and some generic Nazi. Batbrick Away!
  18. There'll be one eventually, for all we know there might be a Cairo duel set with exploding munitions truck! It cuold have those new dynamite pieces from the pirate theme Erm, I already said i had that set, remember the part where I said I used the torso or Talia Al Ghul, which is why I need another one? Good point, though the smiley Dock Ock head could work. Still, I agree, I'd love to see a new head for Toht. Agreement again here, I'd love to see more of those cool heads here. I wish the Indy theme used more unique heads though like Star Wars and Batman for characters like Satipo and such. Batbrick Away!
  19. I doubt they'd be allowed to personally. Unless you mean just as a non license theme? Batbrick Away!
  20. Rumour is right! Batbrick Away!
  21. Yeah, but you see a topic is kind of wasteful when you can just post in an already available one. Just a suggestion to post there instead, but I do like your idea. Batbrick Away!
  22. Hello EB! Here is my latest batch of Batminifigs I have made, I hope you like them: Adventure Bruce: Here he is, Bruce Wayne doesn't just go on risky trips as Batman, many times he gone as Bruce Wayne into dense and jungle regions. Most of these time of course involve.... Talia Al Ghul (updated): With the advent of Agent Trace's hair I realised this piece would be the perfect one for dear Talia as she is represented in the comics. Back shot, looks good. Don't they look sweet together? Generic Gangster (updated): With this new fleshie head I got form the Spiderman set, I realised I could make my original gangster much more unique than the standard henchmen face from the Batman sets. Gotham Citizen: Not that great I know, I'm going to improve her, but for now I just need a generic Gothamite. Prostitute: That's the one you've all been waiting for. I think the spalko head and short Mutt hair work much better. The head in particular gives her that, erm...eh....."used" quality? Harley Quinn: Here we go. A much better hammer I've made considering the original was practically bigger than herself, as well as the accurate black/red gloves. Joker Henchman: With a second henchman in the Tumbler set, I decided to "Jokerise" him like the other one. Here's a pic of Joker and the other one, feel free to point out the purple fedora, it isn't old or anything Matches Malone: Now that Brainbox has FINALLY posted his version, here is mine. Matches Malone is a dead gangster who Batman assumed his identity on numerous occasions to enter the criminal underworld. Mr. Freeze Gun: Mr.Freeze's freeze gun as seen on BTAS. Pretty simple really. Penguin's assistant/Bodyguard: My friend The Penguin will like this. Like on the animated version, this girl is Penguin's athletic bodyguard and personal assistant. Summer Gleeson: Lastly, reporter Summer Gleeson of Gotham Tonight. Hope you enjoyed them and feel free to comment, thanks! Batbrick Away!
  23. Thanks! I love that, do you mind if I use it? Looking forward to seeing them, I plan to make a Lego comic eventually. Hopefully you provide some inspiration! Me too admittingly, I didn't like it at first until I realised The Penguin isn't meant ot be menacing, and this voice fitted him perfectly. Not to mention he's voiced by David Ogden Stiers of *Mash* fame: Charles Emmerson Winchester the 3rd Batbrick Away!
  24. I love the Twilight Zone! Rod Serling is brilliant! I am so going to look up that creation Anyway, as for Arkham, it is very cool. Love the dark gothic atmosphere, especially on the inside. The whole thing is made very well, the photography also helps this. One thing I don't like is the outside look though, its a bit generic in my opinion. When I first saw it I thought it was a school, and it still looks a little that way. However, it is brilliant on the whole, I'll definitely take some inspiration from it. Batbrick Away!
  25. Thanks mate. I do hope though that they make it to Aus at some point, if some are figs I would so buy a heap of them! Batbrick Away!
