These are obviously prelims but are still massively awesome! Loving the black suits with black fedoras, hopefully we get more chinese looking faces though. The two cars are great, and I love that Indy gets a new suit. Very good that the top of Indy's car has the flap they fall into in the film. The Flying Wing surpassed my expectations, it is brilliantly built, as is the truck. I presume we get a better torso and face for him oto. I gosh this is exciting! Batbrick Away!

The supreme awesomeness that is Batbrick has graced you with his might presence and walks among you mortals for one reason and one reason alone.......he likes raffles Batbrick Away!

Thanks for that, I like hearing the exact dates. , and they needed them too, did you see how big the bat0family had become? I kind of agree. I'd still much prefer buildings now as the two larger sets like Arkham and the Batcave from the first wave, it balances things out more and pleases everyone. Plus, my Iceberg Lounge was definitive awesomeness. This I totally agree with. Like you, comics above all BAR NONE. I love how they seem to take the best interpretation of each character too. Catwoman has the semi hight tech costume while retaining the cat burglar classic look. Killer Corc thank goodness doesn't have a tail. Mr Freeze is based off the BTAS version which is the definitive one. Joker again thank goodness is a classy killer, etc. Plus, there are so many great homages in the sets, while stilll retaining originality, that the movie ones can wait for me. Batbrick Away!

Oh don't remind me , I'm sure a lot of compaines have made figures of Batman! Batbrick Away!

Good thinking, I need to do that. More importantly, I need the spiderman Dock Ock transformation set than any other smaller set, as that has the awesome gangster suit print and a perfect head for Lucius Fox. Same here. And you always hit a crossroads you know? Like for me, I can't decide on whether to get the classic/famous ones(Killing Joke, Hush), or the larger collections (all 5 volumes of No Man's Land) or Batman's early years (Haunted Knight, Man Who Laughs, Monster Men). For now I'm going with the early years, I really should of collected these earlier. Thanks, I'll tell you what I have planned. I've done GCPD and the Iceberg Lounge. Modding is for Arkham and Batcave, both heavily. I am planning obviously on Wanye Manor next, and after that there is Bab's Watchtower, Mr.Freeze's Ice Lab, Ivy's greenhouse, Gotham Bank and maybe Joker's park, though that will be hard. All of thswe will be of varying sizes, the sad part being, I'll have ot take apart my giant temple to make them, can I do that? I'm not either, though I like the Burton atmosphere even if I find his goth fetish annoying. do you think the earlier two alone are worth it? A couple of my friends and I are palnning on watching Batman and Robin one night to see how far we can get. I know the butchering of my greatest hero will be hardest on me. speaking of Bat movies, seen Gotham /Knight yet? Ah, do oyu know when the other two volumes became available for an estimate? Me a bit too, I like that he didn't kill the kids though, most writers would just choose to do so because child killing = good dark storytelling apparently. I would like to see a story where Joker's gag literally is too just "hang out" though, and every attempt to stop him is actually harming others, with the irony being that he is actually being benign the whole time. That would be classic. Thanks. That's really cool, I might try that, Lego Mosaics are too hard. It could be stuck onto bricks though maybe. You actually like the prostitute angle? Blech again, that is one of the major reasons I find Year One to be so overrated. Miller being outrageous for the sake of being outrageous said Tim Sale of that, and I agree. I'll definitely try and snag most of them, I love the pirates feel. Plus the animals fit right into Agents so well. Can't wait to see the Indy sets and hopefully the Batman ones. Batbrick Away!

definitely, plus as mentioned before Bane is pretty lame when he is good. And Manbat is plain feral, being good would just be overkill for the Bat-Family, oyu might as well include Bat Mite! Catwoman on the other hand is looking to be a good femme fatale. Yeah, that'll be really good, though i'm almost 100% sure that one of the levels you play as the Commissioner to capture Joker, does anyone else remember this? So what are the teams? I know Riddler's team has Two-Face, Mr.Freeze and Poison Ivy. And joker obviously has Harley, do we know anything else? Good theory, I like. Of course, including Langstrom means all bets are off and then Lucius Fox and other more background characters are demanded. I'm guessing if a tranformation is included it'll atleast be in the cutscenes, which would still be awesome. No, really, he's a perfect villain for short stories though, like a small bit in Detective Comics or something. He needs a definitive tale like Mr Freeze. Batbrick Away!

I refuse to read the second part till I've commented on the third: Great first bit KDog, I love the suspense build up. Seeing the Classic ship again was great, good to see that plotline return in full force. Brilliant use of camera angles too. How is the 100th planning coming? Batbrick Away!

So determined, so ingenious, so flawed! Indeed, you'll need a bigger cupboard like me. Yes, I have a large plan for a lot of locales. You must get it! I looked at it a half hour ago and still don't get sick of it's awesomeness. I wonder when the rest of the sets will arrive here in tassie... Now, I just realised that all the metal bits included for minifigs in the line are great for post apoc mocs like I'm making. Batbrick Away!

Very, but I understand Very good, I like how this is turning out. It'd be cool if the villains had something like this, but their own devices are cool enough. I think they are following her, though you'd chase her of course. I love that idea, that would be very cool. I wonder if transformation is something included, as the article states that when transformed he has weak eyesight. I doubt it, but I wonder if that or his sonar will make an appearance. I love that pic as well, it'd be awesome to have them side by side. There really needs to be more Manbat stories, he's criminally underrated. But in the comics both suck at being good. And I doubt it, Bane is pretty much all evil and Manbat is well........ Manbat. Batbrick Away!

Yeah, the advent calender will be hard to resist frankly. I might get it Point being though, is that I'm trying to do things differently in order to have some spare cash for less important things, or as other people foolishly call them: "more important things" I don't know, recently it's changing for me, comics and Bat-DVDs are taking a front. Still, Lego will always be there, and I'm currently planning on a huge Gotham project. Speaking of, do oyu think Batman 89 and Batman Returns are worth picking up? Thanks, I'll try soon, as I have spare time. Oh that sucks, I never understood the region thing but the fact that it isn't available in your format is frankly pathetic. Yes, I very much like it. Especially the way it explores Joker's comedic interests. Most writers or hacks as I call them tend to think ANOTHER origin story or a tale about his Batman fetish will explore him, but Dini once again proves the little things do it all with Joker's love of the Marx Brothers Thanks, I'm going to guess on most things, and the design of course will be mine. The trick will be making it seem old. Great! I knew you'd come round, how did you make a Joker card? Lego? Thank goodness someone agrees with me. She is famous yes, but oh please no OH PLEASE NO don't put her in a Batman movie, especially not as Catwoman. If the character was to be onscreen, lets just hope they don't go with the ridiculous Year One prostitute story, blech! I reckon there'll be more, I really hope there are. Are you getting any Pirates sets? Batbrick Away!
-
No, but he does it in the game with his cane, haven't you noticed that? I was sure you were the one who first saw it. Good point, or their skills are necessary for getting the goodies when you return like in Indy with the Thuggee statues etc. Batbrick Away!

Hehe. Yeah, I totally understand there. Having just come back from my Bible Study (topic was "money" and I started panicking! ) I resolved to spend a bit less on one of my hobbies. I chose Lego, as many sets I buy I do not need and waste my money on, while comics and DVDs build up collections. So in order to save a bit and become a bit more mature with my money I have decided Castle will not be getting the royal treatment this year skipping out on the Troll Battle Wheel, Troll Attackship, Advent Calender and getting very little multiples out of my own pocket. I will not be getting the Crystal Reaper either. I reckon ultimately this will help my cause though. Thanks, I'm very sorry that I didn't read any today or yesterday, but i assure you, you will understand: Yesterday the Joker: Greatest Stories Ever told arrived and my friends and I cackled at the boner story. It truly is a great collection with some wonderful art from Alex Ross and the brilliant Marshall Rogers, Dini's slayride is also a great Joker tale. Then, I finished it today, and guesws what also came? BTAS vol 3! I was so happy, I watched about eight eps in a row, and am still going In my opinion, he is one of the characters alongside Mr Freeze that TAS did better, he actually had a motive while still remaining a rather creepy and most certainly mad guy. Plus his gimmick is quite good. I like the end: "Would not, could not, would not, could. Oh could not join the dance....." Thanks, I think tan is definitely the way to go. I want to have Bruce and Tim's room of course as well, so I need to know what Tim would have there. Wowza! That thing is HUGE! I love it, thanks for sharing even if it acutely depresses me how much I'll never measure up to it. The only gripe I have is that it is a little too tall, which makes it look less like a manor and more like an industrial building. Still beautiful though. Oh, and bad news, the oft mentioned rumour mill says that Warner Brothers are considering Angelina Jolie for Catwoman in the next movie! Batbrick Away! Batbrick Away!

Your originality impresses me. I admit defeat, though atleast I maintained my dignity in it. As for Snake's comment, I agree movie sets would give it a breath of fresh air, but do you honestly seriuosly truthfully believe that would result in sets not including more bat vehicles and villain vehicles? The comics have very little emphasis on vehicles and it is Lego's choice to not make all the great Bat buildings. Batbrick Away!

Don't worry, I'd love to see movie inspired figs. First I'd rather them finish off other figs like the Mad Hatter etc though. That said, I'm all for movie figs, I just don't like the "I'd rather movie figs than the silly comic books!" attitude. Batbrick Away!
-
Yeah, that would be tehy awesome! It'd be SO much better to totally ignore the source material and the actual fans of the character in favour of catering to "teh realizm" of the new movies. Infact, why even respect the 70 year plus history of the comics at all? *sarcasm* Batbrick Away!

Exactly! Which is why the stories in the media when he uses the riddles to his advantage are quite cool. Then again, his riddlers due to his obsession are equally good, see episode Riddelr's Reform of BTAS or Hush ending. Burned by his own genius really. Maybe for you! I'm trying to even up the playing field for comics recently, since I've got a job I've done the smart thing and NOT saved for a car but instead caught up on BTAS and the comics naturally Now my sisters are getting all annoying saying iu should save up for a car, I don't want to! Yeah, though I thought he took it pretty well, a bit too well really. I'm over her as Robin really, just keep Tim writers, is it that hard? Yeah, that'd work, I'll get editing on them later today I think. It may take a couple of days you understand, is that fine? I like the comic look better myself too, he reverts back to it when the style changes for volume four. But you have to admit atleast he makes a bit more sense in it, mad as a hatter still but motive is there, as opposed to waving the pedophilic flag everyone seems to be doing with the character recently. He has a great ep next season, I kind of feel sorry for the poor fella. Nice, I have a quite funny idea that will be soon done. After IA. And Bat Mocs'N'Mods Thanks, you should adopt that last bit as your sign off! I'd really appreciate that, I want ot include the batphone and maybe the batpoles, but the grandfather entrance is the biggie. It'll just be very hard to do in an open playset. Batbrick Away!

, but will it work? Chase (to badguy passenger):"I'd love to keep chatting but I sense you really need to Jet!" *Hits ejector seat button and badguy is subjected to the equivelant of a small speedbump* Chase: "Darn!" The Riddller one wasn't that bad really, it cam with nice extras, but this one has a siren, ramp pieces (I love those) and little platforms up top, pretty cool. Of course those gate pieces are really useful as well, as is the orange... Plus you need the space, don't you? Nice, thanks for that. I might keep it together then. I guess the little mini boat is an escape-only then I do like that foliage though, I need quite a bit for Poison Ivy's greenhouse when I make it. Batbrick Away!

It has a similar story to TLH with a killer but now two-Face is involved. I love it, even with TLH for me. Yeah but atleast he has the penguin bombs and umbrella, what will Riddler do? Hypnotise you for 10 minutes? In certain cases it'd be a plus, but i don't see how in Riddler's case. Actually they've all been referred to as "unlockable", with Nightwing and one other I believe as simply bonus characters. The others I'd assume would take part, we know Commish Gordon is, as their is a level where you have to capture the Joker with him. Batbrick Away!

I still disagree, if you watch BB again you can clearly see that the Lego figure has most all of the lines and contours that the BB one has. The Dark Knight suit has many more plates and such around the collar and torso area which the Lego one odes not have enough of. Brainbox is correct in saying it is a mix, but most definitely it is slanting towards BB, which was easier to make (and better anyway in my opinion.) Batbrick Away!

Hopefully, complete with the music and everything! Oh, disappointing, Definitely, definitely read it. Fair enough, your dad is a fool! Seriously though, growing up Two-Face was rather well known around my friends surprisingly. I just hope he is characterised right, with a bit more seriousness like Mr.Freeze. Thanks! I like that idea, means we'll fight all the villains seemingly. But a whole level of fighting Riddler? That'll be interesting Batbrick Away!
-
No, what I meant was: "Give us pictures or I blow your brains out!" Joker would be! Yeah, might have to buy two, or not. good idea though, but I'll stick with Arkham, a cool display idea. That all said, I might have to keep that gate together, its easily the best gate TLC has given us, and I love most of the sets, It'll be difficult to take apart anything. Is the Swamp Base worth keeping together? Batbrick Away!

Nice, the show is so underrated in modern batman fans, the riddler's plan in this is genuinely intelligent and he is portrayed almost perfectly: a man obsessed with outwitting Batman and leaving lcues. Well it's working out in an unusual manner, once the ball gets rolling and all that. Just need to figure out a date (as in day) and how much the ticket and food will cost me! Heh, I've on idea of height, but I'm fairly average. This girl is shorter so that's a win, but my friend (who we call "Big Bird") is so tall it's actually quite scary. Amusingly enough, I knew all that. I read the series in which she died (War something I think) and the one in which she returns in purple garb. She gives Tim a rather...erm...welcome reception, proving the boy wonder is no girl! Then Tim is a little spiteful after Batman confesses in front of the two that he suspected she was alive following the fight involving the three (in which they didn't know her identity yet). Thanks, I'll read them tomorrow, and get back to you. Shall I embolden the changes and place reasons in brackets or something? I think that would be most effective. Oh dear. Hehe, for a bit in Begins I thought SHE was Two-Face the way one half sagged! Go for it after watching season 2. No chronology needed, but I know how much you love to watch them in order. No apparent reason eh? I know how that works, you get tired huh? And for some reason it took a while to figure out who the certain comic-geek who dresses like a bat was Oh, maybe that is it. Oh well, I've planned acouple of amusing vignettes for that and for our Brainbox/Batbrick special, is that still going ahead? Thanks very much, I can't wait to make it. May I ask you a favour? I'd very much like to get your opinion on what it should look like and what it should include? Maybe give suggestions for it like I've given suggestions for your comic? I want to include all the little comic tidbits, and get the look right. It'll be tan, which I think will work best. Can you do that please? Batbrick Away!
-
Oh yes! Let's hope for comics, animated and 60's Adam West references Have you read it yet? I thought you had... Yeah, that was rather boring, you have to wonder who is playing this thing I disagree, most well known maybe, but certainly not prominent. Two-Face aptly enough is easily the second most prominent Bat villain, he walks over Penguin. And Riddler hasn't had many of his own stories at all really, atleast in modern continuity. Go Two-Face I say. Ha! Such a stupid way to deal with Bane really. He has an awesome gimmick in his Venom addiction, his greatest strength and weakness, yet the writers rehabilitate him and send him on a soul search! Awesome, how many bosses are there usually? Can we expect each villain to be a boss? Batbrick Away!
-
You and me both, hopefully at the very least it contains figs, and then I'm buying them all! Batbrick Away!

It's definitely the BB suit, which contained a larger bat symbol like the Lego one, as well as the same lines as the BB one, and not as many details as the TDK one. Batbrick Away!
