  1. Looking at my Imperial collection/seeing what's on shelves, I have some notes Stormtrooper Battle Pack ($19.99): 3x Imperial Stormtrooper, Scout Trooper. Speeder Bike, Command post. Imperial Fighter Tank (Legends; $39.99): Imperial TX-130. Imperial Gunner/Engineer, 2x Imperial Stormtrooper, Imperial Officer, Bothan Spy, Rebel Commando. Imperial Special Forces Battle Pack ($19.99): 2x Shoretrooper , Death Trooper Specialist, Heavy Stormtrooper. TIE Interceptor ($49.99): TIE Pilot, Imperial Stormtrooper, Admiral Piett, Imperial Astromech Droid.
  2. Just here to post my guesses at the next $30+ clone trooper pack(s): Republic Swamp Speeder ($29.99): Similar to the 2010 model, a tad beefier. Figures are Aayla Secura, Commander Bly (w/macro binoculars), 2x 327th Star Corps Troopers, 2 Super Battle Droids. Skirmish on Saluecami ($49.99): 2 BARC Speeders (2011 sized), Crab Droid, AT-RT (to scale). Stass Allie, 2x BARC Troopers, 91st Clone Trooper, 2 Battle Droids, 1 Super Battle Droid. Wookie Attack ($49.99): Wookie Ornithopter, 2x Wookie Warriors (armored), 2x Kashyyyk Scout Troopers, Quinlan Vos. Spider Droid. Plus some more old EU clones: ARC-170 ($69.99): Captain Jag, Clone Pilot, Astromech Droid, 2x 442nd Siege Battalion Troopers. Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter ($29.99): Blade of Dorin, Plo Koon (new head sculpt), Astromech Droid, 2x Fifth Fleet Security Troopers (alternately, 2x 104th Battalion Troopers)
  3. Threepio looks great, but my question is: Can we stop changing Stormtroopers now?
  4. ANH Quote Set: "We're Doomed" C-3PO, R2-D2, Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, Rebel Fleet Trooper (×2) Build is the Tantive IV Hallway, plus the escape pod bay.
  5. You know what we're missing right now? A Snowspeeder! Some more Hoth for the summer: Wampa Ambush: Wampa, Tauntaun, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo. Includes the cave. Snowspeeder Patrol: Zev Senesca, Will Scotian, Snowtrooper, Rebel Trooper. Snowspeeder, E-Web. Trench Assault: DF.9 Turret, small trench build. Smaller gun turrets along the trench line. 2 Hoth Rebel Troopers, Probe Droid, Snowtrooper.
  6. I'll repeat an earlier idea here: If the Optimus Prime set is real, then I really, really want a Power Rangers set/theme. The Command Center, with Zordon, Alpha, White Ranger and the civilian Rangers, Megazord with the core 5 + Goldar, Dragonzord with Green Ranger and Rita Repulsa. Maybe a CMF series to go alongside a bigger set (Megazord). Supremely unlikely, I would also love a GI Joe set/theme. Even if it was just a VAMP or HISS Tank. Give me Snake Eyes, Scarlett, Duke, and CC!
  7. Perfection. "We would be honored if you would join us." is the more preferable quote, imo, but still great idea. I know "Execute Order 66" is a longshot, but honestly a vignette of the Utapau platform, brickbuit Boga, Obi-Wan, Cody, and 212th Trooper would be amazing, along with holo-Palpatine. "You were my brother" for an amped up Mustafar duel. Includes Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Padme. "I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine." Vader, Old Ben, Luke. In other ideas, I really want a Rebel Fleet Trooper battle pack/accessory pack now. Either something along the lines of Dark Trooper Attack or the Hoth pack we just got. Tantive IV Attack (39.99): Build is a cutout corridor, with exploding door and a side entrance. Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, Rebel Fleet Trooper x3.
  8. TBOBF Spoilers I want to at least gather a couple members of Boba's pathetic crime syndicate. The rebuild is taking a while.
  9. I like these a lot, add on a GR-75 Rebel Transport and we're golden. The Rebellion needs more vehicles.
  10. Damn, I must be the only Hoth lover here. Battle of Hoth is hands down my favorite Star Wars battle, though I would've preferred Rebels instead. Clones will come, but for now, I think this is a neutral choice for a battle pack "reboot". Though for $20, 4 figs and an E-Web seems light. Like LITE light. I'd assume we're gonna get the 502nd 74-Z Speeder Bike, Hoth flavor, but even that doesn't seem like enough for the price.
  11. @lego_guyon02 I really love the face you used on Coulson, always thought that was perfect for him. Sadly, Lego never used it... Lot's of great ideas all round.
  12. Purist to me means straight up Lego, no decals or custom prints, or custom figure molds (such as helmets). I do consider 3rd party weapons separate from the actual figure, so if my purist fig is holding a brickarms gun for instance, I still count it as purist. That said, I do occasionally use third party elements (such as helmets, or body gear) for my otherwise purist customs.
  13. I really, really hope this is a joke. That would be the lamest MBS ever released. I don't think anyone would mind a $30-$40 Lars Homestead with Luke, Owen, Beru, R2, & 3PO (plus maybe a treadwell droid), but it absolutely does not need a MBS set.
  14. I reserve belt pieces for special characters, never for the mass infantry. It's a cool detail, but would (1) be way too expensive to implement, and (2) is just a bit much? Their just infantry, they don't need all the bells and whistles. I mean, you do you, but I personally wouldn't. Though to be fair, I find the belts somewhat bulky. Never noticed that. I think if they were able to fix these issues whilst keeping the same scale, it would be better. Even still, they're good enough to have kicked Lego's E-11s to the curb.
  15. There's a little olive green skin, but it's barely noticeable. I think it would make a great rebel torso, if not a standard trooper, perhaps a courier or local militia member.
  16. I meant to make that point clearer so thanks
  17. For what it's worth, I heard the osprey was a #### build, so I think they decided to scrap it for that while still saving face. The Coast Guard in and of itself is a military unit, despite it's main goal of search & rescue, so a Coast Guard variant of an Osprey makes sense and would still fit with Lego's values.
  18. Hey! I love that E-11! Only the best for my Imps! Brickfair Virginia I think? Saw them on Brickmania literally seconds after I posted. Shaping up for an order.
  19. The feet are a little wide, but it looks great! Much better scale-wise than most of Lego's versions, so that' always a plus, and it keeps all the necessary shaping.
  20. Is that set a store exclusive? I haven't found it anywhere. In other news, did anyone bother to pick up the Vader Chamber? I'm vaguely interested, but mostly for the figures. Which is absurd, I know, but Veers has a new torso print!
  21. I want almost none of the characters you mentioned. And I think that the only new molds warranted regardless would be the Clone Commando & TK helmets, maybe a Kaminoan head or two. By and large though, Lego's cost cutting has been uninspired at best, downright lazy at worst. It won't kill them to give the RCs the proper respect. Besides, all we really need is a Battle Pack or two, and an excuse to get Omega. Anything else is gravy, or better off tied to a film (V-Wing somewhat included, unless it comes with Scorch) Clearly... Mando helmet is a take, feel like that would look worse. I'd say the new Iron Man helmet would be serviceable, still lazy, but with a damn good print, I could vibe with that. P.S. I don't want to be that guy, but I figured I'd mention it the one time: It's the Petranaki Arena, not Pentaki. Great lists though.
  22. If it's the same one I'm thinking of, it's actually pretty good, and he makes a point no one else noticed: the Gunship's official description mentions Star Wars: The Clone Wars, even though they clearly mean AOTC. Which is funny, but kinda lazy ngl. Though a TCW version with closing doors would've been *chef's kiss*
  23. That bow is remarkably clever! That sucks , I bought one off Bricklink forever ago, so if I decide to get the shuttle I can have a go at it. Also, does anyone know if Brickarms made the Commando Blaster? Or a similar alternative (not into CAC weapons).
  24. Or Azog's hand (The Hobbit)
  25. Guys, I was joking... But in all seriousness, businesses often experience a disconnect with the "Hardcore" audience. They rely mainly on the ride or die fanboys & the content casuals (in both senses) to provide their profits. Hardcore fans make up a small yet passionate fraction of the fanbase, and so we want the things that casuals do not. Ironically, businesses somehow fail to understand that exposure can lure in casuals as well. While it might not be as well known as an X-Wing or TIE Fighter, who wouldn't want a cool three-seater starfighter thingy? Or a large playset with a ton of troops? Also, burnout is a thing. I'm starting to hate the OT with just how "overrepresented" it is, to the point where you have to think long and hard about what isn't out/won't be out for a while. And with Disney hellbent on shoving as much Empire Era content down our throats, Lego and other licensees will have to follow suit. And before you all start: I get that the OT is the most popular and arguably best trilogy, and I love the Empire and Rebellion as much as anyone, but please... Solo, Rogue One, Episodes IV-VI, Rebels, The Bad Batch (in spirit at least), The Mandalorian, All but one or two of the upcoming Disney Plus shows, About 2/3rds of the comic series and novels, all of it focuses on the same stuff. Sure, we have a couple of Clone Wars and Pre-TPM novels, TCW, and of course Episodes I-III, but um... actually there's no comparison. Don't even get me started on the video games... All that off my chest though, it makes sense that some fans will always be at odds with Lego. Some of us more than others.
