  1. Okay so that's the three waves. Well again, it probably won't be any later than next December/January for more Mando sets.
  2. It's a nice little set. I still hope we get a molded bantha someday, but this is good for now. However, I do wish the horns didn't stick out so far. I also need that T-16 helmet for a rebel pilot figure (Dorovio Bold). I know it's been on the previous T-16 pilot, but I never got that set. All in all, great review, and a decent set.
  3. So like $25, $40, $70, $90, and $130-$150 ($150 being my initial lowball estimate) at lowest? Still not terrible. I think we could still see a Final Order Star Destroyer, maybe a final duel between Rey, Kylo and Palpatine. If we're not getting Mando or Clone Wars sets (jury's still out on the latter), then I forsee an excellent Fall 2020/Winter 2021 at least. They can't hold out on us that long.
  4. That's exactly what I was thinking. And we can finally get The Senate in all his Sith glory .
  5. so, 3 $30-ish sets? Then a $50 set, then it just jumps to $80, $100, and around $150+? If that's accurate (and assuming Lego-Freak's guess to be correct), I'm guessing a cruiser or other such large ship at the top, a fighter in the $80 slot, and some smaller vehicles in the $30 range. If most of them (around half) are PT-CW related, this might give us some clues as to what to expect.
  6. Hopefully we'll get at least a few gems next wave, even if the wave overall is a flop. We haven't got a real hitter in a few years.
  7. I'd like a set with Dooku in it. Maybe his solar sailor, or an invisible hand finally. The sailor could still include Yoda too. If they do any ROTS sets, I'd like a break from Kashyyyk for now. ARC-170, AT-OT, UT-AT and the likes, or a proper Tri-Droid. Maybe an Ornithopter from Kashyyyk to give the Wookies some love. AOTC is easy with Jango's Slave I (a bit unlikely given the 20th anniversary one), Bounty Hunter Pursuit remake, and maybe a SPHA-T tank. TPM is the hardest, as all of the major vehicles have been remade recently (well, "recently" as in 5 years), but maybe a decent sized MTT like the old 2007 one? Something palace related? So if we are getting prequel sets, I'm guessing something along the lines above. But again. fingers crossed they do something cool.
  8. I'll rephrase: If we get another non-wookie centric set (and not the Ornithopter, or Catamaran), then I'll be pissed. We have enough AT-APs and Droid Gunships.
  9. I'm a little disappointed with no Mando sets. But even with Prequels having the green light, Robianco's "thing'll be heating up" comment hints that it'll once again be Gungans and Kashyyyk crap. I like the prequels, but if we get another TPM wave and another Kashyyyk set, I will be pissed. But, fingers crossed we get something cool.
  10. My Ideal CMF series
  11. I really hope we only get like one more ROS set, one with Palpatine and the final two Knights, and the rest goes to something less divisive. The Final Order Star Destroyer is the only thing I'd say we need from that film. Maybe it could include one of those horses they ride. I also think with Mandalore and the Mandalorians rising in popularity, they'll be a focus of any new Clone Wars stuff. Bo-Katan, the horned Super Commando, some Night Owls, maybe a new Death Watch soldier. The 501st is also a must, and so is the Bad Batch. At least three sets could take out the Havoc Marauder, Mandalore fighter, and possibly the Gunship. Plus a duel set between Ahsoka and Maul (there's almost no way Lego misses a set that easy). And, at the risk of being a broken record, I don't believe we'll get true 501st figures, we'll probably get 332nd and a Jet Trooper, if we're fortunate. Hopefully they at least give us the Bad Batch and Jesse. And Cody, of course. I also wouldn't really care for yet another skiff set without another barge to go with it. 2017's skiff seemed to fly under the radar. and 2016 gave us the last escape pod. Maybe another Death Star themed vignette? Maybe with Han and Chewie? I could see that, I guess. Han, Chewbacca, and a Stormtrooper or Imperial Lieutenant (black suit). Or something along the lines of Jabba's message/prize from 2003. R2, C-3PO, Bib Fortuna, Gamorrean Guard, Boba, and Boushh for $40-$50 would be cool.
  12. Very true. Even if it's over-sized, that just makes it a better UCS model (one meant for display).
  13. I want a normal 501st Battle Pack too, but technically it would be a "Siege Troopers" Battle Pack , and the 501st can still have their day next year (or the year after, or the year after that ). I think the best way to do it is to market it with 332nd helmets, but include regular helmets as extras. Kind of like IG-88 carrying a stud shooter and a blaster rifle in the Bounty Hunter Battle Pack. With the last trailer, I hope we get Bly and the 327th and Bacara and his Marines in a set. My three possible Battle Packs: Siege Troopers (see my previous post) Anaxes Troopers: ARC Trooper Jesse, 501st Jet Trooper, 212th Clone Trooper, 91st "Ponds" Clone Trooper 501st Battle Pack: 501st Trooper, 2x 332nd Troopers, 501st Jet Trooper.
  14. The "real" LAAT/i could hold up to 30 troops, plus 2 pilots and 2 clones in the side turrets. As far as I know, none of the prior LEGO versions can do that, in fact, the 7676 set, while excellent otherwise, had a horrible troop capacity, even with a modded floor. The 2013 one had a good size, but since I unfortunately don't own that model, I'm not sure about how many troops it can hold. IMO, this shouldn't be about UCS-vs-System scale. Like I said a couple posts above, we've had multiple system-scale sets of almost every UCS (if not every one). Besides, UCS is about being a massive display model, not a playset. (On principle, with few exceptions) An LAAT/i in minifig scale would have to be massive, $200 at least. A good candidate for UCS (see Slave I, Y-Wing, TIE Fighter, Snowspeeder...) given the price alone. I don't know if LEGO needs another $500+ UCS set, which would certainly be a decent Nebulon B, but I wouldn't be opposed to it. For me personally, having never owned a gunship despite wanting all of the previous versions, there have been only 2 or so UCS models I've ever considered (Slave I and Death Star). The LAAT/i would be a definite purchase for me. Also, I don't really get all the Rex/Cody/501st wishes, as honestly LEGO will most likely choose a safe complement of Yoda, Clone Pilot, and a Clone Trooper. Maybe Jedi Bob, but that'd be almost too much fanservice. But, may the best possible model win (a moment of silence for the TIE Bomber). Also, I have nothing against the Nebulon B, just to be clear. I'm just presenting the gunship as a valid competitor.
  15. I've come across it in various online forums, maybe not this one, but there is a consensus that the Nebulon-B is better because it's unique. A small consensus, but I felt like noting that side.
  16. I've seen a lot of people saying that the Gunship has been made before, thus it shouldn't get the UCS treatment, but honestly, the most recent UCS sets have all had numerous system-scale versions (numerous X-&-Y-Wings, Snowspeeders, and TIE Fighters). Even the ISD has had 2 system scale releases, a midi-scale version, and a previous UCS model. I do like the Nebulon B, and would love to see it get made someday, but I voted for the Gunship. Some people think that LEGO should've offered an ARC-170 or Venator, but I think that those sets wouldn't have fared so well with a vote like this. The Gunship is more recognizable, and could lead to other PT UCS sets in the future. It could also give us some special legacy figures like an updated Jedi Bob, a proper clone pilot sans fin, and maybe even arm-printed clone troopers. The Nebulon-B would be my second choice, of course, but if it is released, then the usual Luke & Leia would kind of kill it for me. And I don't really collect the rebels much outside of Hoth, Endor, and Yavin (minifig wise). Of course, we'll see what happens come January 30th, and if either two options make it I won't be surprised. Heck, they might give us both if it's close enough.
  17. My ideal summer wave (with realistic prices; i.e. not ideal): Ahsoka vs Darth Maul ($19.99): The duel set. Comes with S7 Ahsoka Tano and a better clone wars Maul (with normal legs). Setting would be the Throne Room. Siege Troopers Battle Pack ($14.99): 2x 332nd Company Troopers, 1x 501st Jet Trooper, 1x ARC Trooper Jesse (since they need an officer for some reason) Havoc Marauder ($59.99): Hunter, Tech, Crosshair, Wrecker, Anakin Skywalker. Battle for Anaxes ($39.99): AAT and Crab Droid builds. Mace Windu, Commander Cody, 2x Super Battle Droids, 91st Trooper (Ponds design) The Razorcrest ($109.99): The Mandalorian, Kuill, The Child, IG-11, 2x Remnant Stormtrooper. Republic Gunship ($129.99): Clone Pilot (Hawk), Ahsoka Tano (S7), 2x Mandalorian Super Commando, 2x 501st Jet Trooper, Bo-Katan. ARC-170 ($79.99): Clone Pilot (Odd Ball), Obi-Wan Kenobi, Clone Pilot, Captain Rex, Astromech Droid. Mandalorian Fighter ($69.99): 2x Death Watch Mandalorians, 1x 332nd Clone Trooper, Mandalorian Super Commando Captain. Moff Gideon's TIE ($89.99): Moff Gideon, The Mandalorian (with Jetpack), 2x Death Troopers, Incinerator Stormtrooper. Final Order Star Destroyer ($149.99): General Pryde, Emperor Palpatine, 2x Knights of Ren, 2x Sith Troopers, Female Sith Officer. with maybe a couple of cheap OT sets to fill out the roster. I really think LEGO will commemorate the final season of the Clone Wars like the anthology films.
