    Also they made the chinstrap thicker in the 80s too. So making it a little thicker again now seems appropriate.

    Yeah the spaceship in 70821 is a bit simple but I can't really complain ever again. What I can do is add all of Benny's friends to my Spaceship Spaceship Spaceship! I expect LEGO will be tempted to do at least one other set with the new old helmet (I love saying that!). Maybe in wave 2 or maybe something else.

    Well, I can never complain about anything LEGO ever does again. They're giving us a Classic Space battle pack with NEW CLASSIC HELMETS. And the classic trans-yellow windscreen (slightly different mold, I know, don't care). Now I basically have to shut up forever. Although they probably want to take advantage of that new Classic helmet...I predict more throwback sets.

    Wow. I can't believe it. This is like a dream. DO NOT PINCH ME. I'm going to have to buy like 20 of those Space Team sets. Seriously. And we're getting the original trans yellow slope again? (Technically a slightly different mold but who cares). Wow. Also the Dinosaur sets are hilarious! And awesome. Also that space ship with the trans-purple canopies! Super dope! EVERYTHING IS AWESOME! Yeah, seriously! I am in shock! Now I just have to not die before these come out.

    You heard me right. I'm hoping for new old helmets. They won't re-release the old ones without updating them to be less fragile. Best we can hope for is something like Benny's helmet without the fake crack.

    I assume it's trans light green vs. the old trans green, but I'm not sure. Cool either way though.

    Very nice! Cool sci-fi front wheel design. The bottom windscreen is a great touch.

    My thoughts as well. It's a great looking design. Nothing like the tired, boring, gray Star Wars retreads we keep getting. Seems like there are plenty of fresh space ship designs out there. So...why can't we have a non-licensed Space theme with stuff like this?

    My latest MOC is the Strategic StarHound: This is a Futuron mech based on the old Strategic Pursuer. https://brickset.com/sets/6848-1/Strategic-Pursuer I basically made a bigger version. The arms, legs, and red floodlights (is that what they are?) are all poseable. Hopefully I can add some more pictures later. Hope you all like it.

    Well it turns out I do own a trans-yellow visor but it's with my Space Pirate CMF which is...somewhere in my house but not with the rest of my Lego. I probably won't find it very soon so until that happens I give you this: I want to see it the other way too, with a gray air tank and blue torso etc. And with the actual yellow visor. Maybe I can piece that out if I get my butt in gear.

    That would be really cool. I'd settle for what you said even without the dual molding. Space Police 1 was the first Space theme that really mixed colors on figures (black & white) and it looked really cool with the red visor. But they didn't match their spaceships. I kinda think Lego always tried to have the minifigs stand out and therefore didn't have the same colors as their sets. Although that was not the case for Blacktron. Hmmm...Yeah I might have to try something today and report back.

    Well it shouldn't be white since that's been done recently. Definitely don't want more green for the same reason. For new colors, grey would be cool, or purple. Otherwise I like red. What I really want is a remold of the classic space helmet. Like Benny's but no crack.

    Well. I'm totally fine with Peter Reid having two of his sets made into official sets. As many as he wants really...Supported!

    I don't think any of those were revivals. None of them were really stylistically or thematically related the their predecessors at all. Space Police might be close although stylistically it looked more like Futuron and the bad guys were rag tag space bikers/pimps and nothing like Blacktron. I'm not even sure it was deep space and not future city what with the flying cars and that city-esque police station. And they flopped? Really? All of them? Mars Mission flopped, so then they did Space Police 3? And then that flopped so they did Alien Conquest? And that flopped so then they did Galaxy Squad? I'm not sure LEGO would be that suicidal. Also nobody has the sales figures so it's all speculation.

    Yay, another BGC fan on Eurobricks! I remember getting the VHS tapes in the early 90's and now I have it on Blu Ray. Cyberpunk + transforming motorcycles; what's not to love?

    The giant white swords as skis look perfect on that Blizzard Barron. And of course the T. Nex is amazeballs. The name alone requires it to exist.
