I love all of these! It also looks like a number of the patterned elements are prints rather than stickers! I count seven astronaut variants: Orange, blue, green, dark blue, dark green, reddish orange, commander. Unfortunately, the commander/pimp does not have printed legs.

I would not say they are boring as much mid; they look more like Core sets than what we were expecting from the S1 wave. The designs are good (Arin's 4+ mech notwithstanding), but they need more variety in style and configuration (though I suppose that this would defeat the purpose of the mix-and-match gimmick).

The battle pack looks great! As others have noted, it is a good combo-pack of two $15 battle packs; the Tri-Droid is actually decent, and the Clone side is a good parts pack. I am honestly not sure who this mystery "controversial" Minifig could be - "Controversial" is really throwing me off, since it could mean that the character itself is controversial, or that using an anniversary 'fig slot on them is controversial (due to their obscurity, lack of detail, ability to appear in regular sets, etc). -
Official group shot is on Reddit! The crossfitter has a tattoo on her right arm, the barbarian is female, the goatherd has a Medieval torso, and Basil seems to have a grey head.

It could be; on the front of the box it looks dark grey, but on the back it looks light grey. A new colour for the frog!- 5,890 replies

I know. I thought that you were saying that the Empire did not recruit anyone outside of white males (hence why the old Angry Clone head was more accurate). Ah. 👍 -

Hagrid’s hut has new mastiff and dragon moulds (the dragon looks like a baby raptor with Riyu’s wings), and the Owlery has five owls (2x spread wings (white, dark red), 2x normal (dark tan, dark brown), and 1x Smowl (dark grey)). Six owls; there is also an unprinted tan one with spread wings.- 5,890 replies

That looks more like the new reddish orange than it does coral - I wonder how the colour will look alongside neon yellow. 🤔 It looks like the SPACE banner is being used across themes (not just for City) - Interesting! -

Clone ground crew instead of an Astromech; also, it would be $20, not $15 (those days have long passed!). Their age is the bigger problem when considering them to be Clone Wars veterans; they look far too young to have been fighting 20+ years ago! As for gender/race, that is actually quite accurate - Look at the demographic breakdown of the Elite Squad troopers, for instance. I would guess no, since I am not sure how it could be done without becoming either too bulky or too flimsy/breakable. I am expecting something similar to the B1 legs. -

Gunners would be nice in a future pack, but I am glad that all Minifigs included in the Clones vs. Droids pack are generic (since we are all going to buy mass quantities of the set!). -

They could be black, but PDG is more likely based on another leaked torso (which had a reddish orange left arm). Thus far, we have green, blue, orange, PDG/reddish orange (with gold hands), and black or PDG (also with gold hands) confirmed. All of them have the same torso and leg prints (already leaked), with white, dark blue, and silver being their base colours. -
$30, but 240 pieces, so the PPP is decent.

I think so.

We know the designs for both the on-screen Clones and LEGO’s design for Clone armour, so semi-convincing fakes are fairly easy to make (especially with already-available custom decals). 🫤 -
Search “LEGO”, then look at the City entry.

From what I can see, this looks good! The ship is white and black with sand blue accents (very minimal orange), and looks like a very sleek spaceplane (not a traditional shuttle). The nose uses the relatively new wedge plates that come to a point, and the canopy is trans-black (the same one as the Star Wars pirate snub fighter). It seems to have either three main engines, or just lots of flaps around one, and there are what look like air intakes over the wings on each side of the cockpit; the middle part of the section behind the cockpit (flanked by the intakes) seems to open up to allow a small blue. . . thing (not sure if a robot, probe, scooter, or something else) to be stored. One Minifig; seems to be the same torso as we have already seen, but with PDG arms and gold hands (I saw one similar that leaked, but that had a reddish orange left arm).

Because of where they are, they actually cannot open much without bumping into the railing. 🫤 BTW, I gave the knight a black greathelm (kept the silver shoulder armour), and it looks much better; I am not sure why LEGO did not do this, as the part is still in-production.

Good point, actually. I wonder why they did not give Black Widow printed legs in the Quinjet, then. -
The Missions set was for Mars, but you are right that the 2024 space sets do not appear to be anywhere in Earth’s solar system.
