LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion

I am not sure that the prices are accurate, since the spaceship is listed as $20 (should be $30). 🫤 -
LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion

The whole wave is giving Power Miners X Mars Mission! I think that those are alien plant life; the batteries seem to be created (per a display in the base) by combining plants and crystals. I certainly hope so!! I also hope that we keep the same basic design (suits, colour-scheme) for at least 1-2 more years, so that the faction can be expanded! -

Not just that - They also have different designs (with some new parts and recolours): Blue and dark blue (and the pimp-commander) use the 2019 space helmet recoloured, green and dark green use the Nexo Knights helmet, and orange has a new mining helmet and armour piece! It looks like they are; the lifestyle pics show them to have trans-black’s distinctive bluish tint. They probably cannot, but I really hope that those Friends space helmets can fit Minifigs as well! Also, the trans-purple visors are going to be useful. Something interesting that I have noticed is the synergy between themes this year - Technic, Friends, and City Space all use the same reddish orange colour and airlock connectors, and City and Friends both feature the same aliens. -
The rescue helicopter is a good addition to the last few years of medical sets, and I like to see the subtheme continuing (also, new printed legs for the medics!). Also, the design seems to be a direct reference to the World City police helicopter. The rest of the sets (burger truck, race car transporter, etc) are quite good as well, and I particularly like that City is continuing to use bright and unconventional colours (compared with pre-2022 sets). Yes - They seem to be representing chainlink fencing.

It makes sense in the context of the overall wave; there are two trucks, so we get an extra bay in the station - I like that (as most prior two-bay fire stations have had two vehicles, meaning that the other vehicles in the wave have to be parked outside). The fire sets are very consistent with those of the past few years (colour-scheme, logo, uniform), and I like the new uniform variants that we get (harness, tank top, unzipped jacket); overall very solid additions, even if I decide to pass on the fire station (I like it, but I also have the last one; maybe I can combine them?). The police sets are interesting and feel like the return of World City (crime lab truck in particular!); I am curious to see if the new uniforms, badge, and colour-scheme are here to stay, or just for this wave. The new colours look good, and neon yellow works better opposite dark blue than it does the regular blue of past waves. The prison island is probably a pass for me (through well-designed), and the crooks’ hideout feels sparse; I do really like the chase and crime lab truck, though, and will probably be picking those two up.

Oh. I am not sure of the format, but if these answers came from a livestream, they could be responses to chat questions. That would explain the oddness and memes of some of the hints. Cin Drallig would be cool to get, though. The issue is that a Jedi is really the only way to square the "packing", "can defeat Jango" hints with "peaceful" and "lived a peaceful life". 🫤 -

There are a few others, but they participate in the battles. Maybe J. K. Burtola? He was the youngling who suggested that Kamino was erased from the Jedi Archives, and his helmet has white on it. I am not sure how he would defeat Jango, though. 🫤 Also, he probably cannot drive. -

Main character, someone who we would expect to get, not peaceful, etc, etc - No. -

I assume that it just means that the character would be able to drive a car. -

Many Jedi wear white in some capacity (Mace Windu has white pants, for example); the key is finding a Human Jedi who lived peacefully (I.E. did not appear in any battles or during Order 66). -

"Packing" and "could defeat Jango" basically confirms this to be a Force-user; most likely a Jedi, though not Jocasta Nu. -

He has a small comlink (which is white), not a band. Also not Human. -

Aside from losing Clem, it was (which she talks about in her speech); she lived peacefully in spite of the Empire's growing power. -

Not Human. -
As others speculated when the leaflet first dropped, the hair colour is probably a reference to Red Sonja. Also, the hair and overall outfit design are similar to Red Sonja's 1985 movie appearance. Probably both the torso and legs, since they would work for any peasant (or even a Forestman). That is my guess (backed up by the red eyes); I just hope that he still has his glorious moustache!

No; if we are including accessories, then any character that has held something white is an option. -

I am ignoring the "controversial" hint, since it could mean almost anything. Also, Maarva could be "controversial" because in her speech as-filmed she says "F*ck the Empire!" (changed to "Fight" in post); I actually like the change, as it makes more sense in the context of the rest of her speech, but I remember that there was some displeased discussion surrounding the change (namely, accusing Disney of censorship). -

What about Maarva Andor? She wore a white sash in her funeral speech, she is closely associated with B2EMO, and the planet (Ferrix) would give her away. 🤔 -

The clue was that their outfit included white, not was entirely white, so he could fit. -

True, but why is specifically the child variant being guessed? Also, what object or vehicle would she be tied to? Cordé was the handmaiden that died at the beginning of AotC, so not someone who "lived a peaceful life"! -

Dormé would not wear white (unless we get the nightgown version, which would be weird), Lyra does not wear white, Dryden did not live a peaceful life, young Leia cannot drive or shoot (and using "young" to include the letter 'o' feels like a bit of a cheat), Breha (white dress from Obi-Wan) is a possibility. Did not wear white. -

I think that these are the clues that we should focus on primarily - Who is a peaceful character that is heavily connected to an object/vehicle and whose planet of origin/appearance would give them away? -

Not Human, no hair, no white in the outfit, and not controversial.
