  1. An updated Wolfpack Tower would be awesome, but IMO a Wolfpack Renegades GWP is more likely.
  2. Very focused on Great Vehicles and fire/medical (at least for 1HY); I was expecting more police sets, as they got an update in 2024, though perhaps 2HY will give us more police and construction. The break is definitely welcome, but I also really like the new police designs/colour-scheme, so for once I actually wanted a new police station! I like the continuation of the themed food truck subline, the standalone ambulance is overdue, and more farm (despite being 4+), beach, and outdoor are always welcome! The scrapyard could be interesting, since it will probably feature the modular bumper system that cars have been getting lately; I suspect that the set will focus on refurbishing old cars, so we will get engine pieces, wheels, and other bits to customise the scrapped cars. I can also see the No-Limits car ramp track tying into this, since Mech Max is a mechanic and part of the No-Limits crew. I am not sure what to make of the “helicopter, fire truck, and submarine remix” - Is this a crazy modular set, or just an odd translation of a land/air/sea search-and-rescue set? I am also not quite sure what the race combo packs are, though I suspect that they are wacky themed vehicles with unique drivers; they could be good.
  3. Off-topic, but the Series 27 CMF line contains a red bow piece (regular bow recoloured) in the Cupid figure, which would be useful for Roy Harper customs! Halo show reference? I only just realised that; somewhat odd, but it makes sense that the video focused on the most popular Batman depictions (West, Keaton, Bale, Pattinson, BTAS, comics, TLBM).
  4. Yes, and we actually got a red quiver in Ninjago back in 2013, so I am expecting some Roy Harper customs to pop up over the next year!
  5. It only appeared in the Nexus Force astronaut polybag from 2010! IwillnotgetmyhopesupIwillnotgetmyhopesup! Since LEGO has been doing a good job lately of standardising the colour-schemes and uniforms of the various City occupations (as opposed to the older model of changing police/fire uniforms every year), I think that there is actually a really good chance that this set will use the City Space ‘24 colours and astronauts! The fact that this is explicitly a modular spaceship also ties it to the 2024 cross-theme airlocks, though I could also see a self-contained spaceship with a bunch of smaller detachable bits (like the Deep Freeze Defender). Hopefully, this set is either a very large flagship for the ‘24 crew or something rather small ($20-$30 range) in-line with the Interstellar Spaceship (that can be used to build a nice fleet)! @LCP is a reliable source, so I am not worried about this being a mistake.
  6. The Wolfpack beast master looks good! I am a bit disappointed that the torso seems fairly similar to the MTS one, as I had hoped for some leather armour or fur pelt printing. The shield and wolf are excellent, though, and I hope that the legs are printed and dual-moulded! Also, I have seen people commenting that the sword is a new part, but I think it is just the same one used by the Raven/Crow tournament knight (not that I would not appreciate a new sword mould!).
  7. Barbarians in DnD can use shields, so there is no lore reason for the Minifig not to have one. If the ‘fig had a printed wooden shield instead of a simple torch, then I think it would be more popular. The second head is just included so that the builder/player can customise the gender of their character. From what I understand, there are no gender-based traits or bonuses in current DnD (there are species-based abilities/traits/bonuses, but those are being phased out in favour of a better and more adaptable system (abilities are now being tied to character background, not species). I am not saying that the Lady of Pain is not a well-designed, interesting, Minifig - I just mean that I would expect there to be more of a run on the dwarf (like the paladin is experiencing!) than on the LoP.
  8. The updated CS-style helmets can fit the classic visor piece, and the motorcycle helmet is not available in orange; I expect that the Minifigs are just CS orange and CS white with clear visors and no airtanks. With any luck, the Minifig parts will end up on PAB in a few months (as they are just generic faces (similar to the table football heads), not specific characters or celebrities) - In fact, some of the heads are not even new for this set! On the topic of potentially useful parts from this set, the Brickset review shows the Minifigs in more detail; the helmets are PDG with black ribbing on the back (City space helmet price), so they should look good with the City Space ‘24 PDG spacesuit. The visors appear to be metallic gold (drum-lacquered), which we have not gotten since 2015’s Series 16 CMF astronaut, and the legs look useful as well (gold lines on the hips notwithstanding). I am not 100% sold on the torsos, as the design looks busy and a bit muddled as to what it is supposed to represent (a spacesuit? a jacket with a harness?). That being said, with a bit of armour covering the top portion (such as the Ninjago Imperium armour), these could make for some interesting sci-fi characters.
  9. The fact that this is not a teaser for TLBM 2 is absolutely criminal!
  10. Why would that be described as a “beastmaster”, though?
  11. Ah! That makes more sense than a fully brickbuilt body. Kobolds would be good! That said, they would be pretty easy to cobble together (CMF orc torso and legs, triceratops costume tail, Chima croc head); an official version would obviously need a new fully-moulded headpiece and faun legs. Tiamat would have to be a set, but she would make an absolutely amazing one! We have gotten multi-headed dragons before in Ninjago, so she should be fairly easy for LEGO to make. Not the least bit surprising, but good that sales data is backing us up. 👍 This is very odd to me - The dwarf has an excellent new axe piece, and a detailed and useful torso (complete with dual-moulded and printed arms)! I get why not having new a beard detracts from the figure a bit, but there are other Minifigs (named characters, in particular the Lady of Pain) who are less massable.
  12. I think the DnD series is the exception that proves the rule, unfortunately; I doubt that normal CMFs will have this many accessories/animals/etc. 🫤 According to the designers, it is intended to be a wolf cub.
  13. CMF Series 27 will include a “Wolfpack Beastmaster”! No word yet on which beasts specifically will be included, whether we will get a shield, etc, but Wolfpack variant == immediate army-builder (for me, at least!)!
  14. Ah! I am not going to get my hopes up for two new/recoloured animals in a single CMF ‘fig, especially since the Minifig in-question would sell well regardless of any animal companion(s) that may be included (and I am hoping for a Wolfpack shield!). Also, I think that the names are either guessed or translated, since the Black Falcon falconer was just called “Falconer”; so “Wolfpack Beastmaster” may just be a description rather than an official name. I did not realise that! I would love to see LEGO develop some lore based on this, and have the Raven/Crow knights allied with the Wolfpack (maybe the Ravens are invaders from outside the main kingdom, and they use the Wolfpack to undermine the classic factions’ authority, sow discord, smuggle weapons and treasure, etc?). If we do actually get a recoloured (and printed) raven as an accessory, I will be taking it as a hint that the Raven/Crow knights will return in some form! I am leaning towards the piece that Golden-Winged Eagle (Monkie Kid) uses; the Jarnathan wings feel too large for Cupid. If the pirate quartermaster does not turn out to be a Bluecoat variant, a new parrot piece is an absolute must! Hidden Side? Do you mean Dreamzzz? Either that or something cyberpunk and obnoxiously neon! The ‘fig being a jetpack racer rather than a jetpack adventurer (and no mention of a retro theme) makes me suspect the latter (neon cyberpunk) is more likely. He will definitely have some kind of clothing, and togas are common to clothes depictions of Cupid; it feels likely (especially since LEGO knows that the figure will sell better if he just has a plain white toga!).
  15. My guess would be new wings, since the Man-Bat arms are too small for a pterodactyl. Maybe the VIDIYO dragon wings will be reused, but I am more inclined to expect spread, rather than folded, wings. The headpiece also has the potential to be good, if it leans more towards ‘dinosaur’ and less to ‘costume’.
  16. Oh, I had not even thought of that! I went in the trainer/tamer direction, which does seem more likely given LEGO’s aversion to realistic portrayals of violence and animal cruelty, but I can definitely see us getting some fur/pelt detailing on the torso and legs! Maybe a grey pelt over one shoulder and part of the stomach area, then down onto the legs as a sort of ‘loincloth’ over the pants? 🤔 While a recoloured falcon would be nice, thematically a wolf makes more sense (Black Falcons get a falcon, Wolfpack get a wolf); I also suspect that the animal’s quarry will be gold, rather than anything living! Likely not, as that EVA pack is far too bulky for futuristic racing! Either way, we have a good chance of getting hair dual-moulded with either a laurel wreath or a halo. Also, I had not considered that he could use the firing bow piece (as I really do not like it), but it would make sense for Cupid (brown bow, red/trans-red arrows?). Not for lack of the designers’ trying, though! Hopefully this ‘fig will sell well, and we get at least a gender-swap in a future CMF - Maybe even a year of Dreamzzz could have a Steampunk theme (or we could get a new character who is a massive fan of the genre, so all of their dream creations are Steampunk)!
  17. This is going to be the most popular ‘fig by far, especially if we also get a shield! Since a beastmaster is someone who controls/tames wild animals, I can see us getting a new wolf here. For the design of the Minifig, I suspect leather armour on the torso and legs, and padding on the arms (not unlike the falconer’s), with little to no metallic detailing. Maybe a whip or a harness (City recolour in dark brown?) in one hand and a shield in the other? Also, I am very happy to see that LEGO does not consider DnD to be a substitute for traditional Castle content! Probably something like the 2015 pirate cook, but I am personally hoping that the use of “quartermaster” means that this will be a variant Bluecoat. Finally!! Hopefully this includes a new mould for a top hat with goggles attached, and we get a couple of nice recolours (pearl gold flintlock pistol?)! Maybe a future series will have Baba Yaga for this figure to fight? 😈 Definitely sci-fi, though I wonder if LEGO are going to go in a Rocketeer direction (matching with the Steampunk inventor), or the more typical cyberpunk direction (neon colours, etc). I do hope that we get a new jetpack mould, since the existing ones are all specific to Star Wars. If we get a Classic Space reference or part (e.g. dark blue helmet) in this series, this will be where it shows up. Likely a telescope build as the accessory. Will probably use the folded wings from Monkie Kid recoloured in white; the torso may also be useful if they give him a toga (to prevent having to make a naked child Minifig! 😬). Hopefully we get a recoloured recurve bow piece and recoloured quiver to match. I am assuming that it will be a Minifig with a couple of cats (maybe adult cat and kitten?) and a shirt with cats on it (maybe also legs with cat hair on them!), but it would be very funny if the figure is actually a female politician and exabricks is trolling!
  18. Ew, no! 🤮 I like getting extra heads for customisation, but dual M/F printed heads without a specific lore reason (e.g. a shapeshifter or a disguise) just restricts the number of possible expressions for each person, as well as prevents the use of hats and hair that show the reverse of the head (the trade-off to having only one expression). A Drider would be better suited to a set, since the spider body would need more parts than CMFs allow. Animated armour would be really good, since it could give us a generic suit of armour that can be used for various Castle factions, as well as a new helmet of some sort (my pick would be a sallet)! Same issue as the Drider, IMO. I am surprised that you did not include a Gnoll; they can be done easily in LEGO form at CMF size (reused faun legs, new moulded hyena head), and would be a good enemy to include. I also think that we should get another orc character (our only DnD one is in the RDT set!), with the CMF orc jaw recoloured in light grey.
  19. She is one of the few characters who can actually get away without having it. They look dark blue to me; arm printing with light nougat hands would look better, but is also too much to ask for non-CMF Marvel ‘figs! Overall, I like her, and the (recoloured) hair is actually a good choice! I personally thought of using the standard ponytail piece (as Jean’s hair does not extend down over her ears/around the sides of her face), but that would be far too short.
  20. Dark blue (and a dark blue helmet) would be good to go with the BAM torso, but while light grey has appeared in Classic Space sets from the very beginning, we have not gotten a LBG update yet! We could always end up getting a few different colours, since dark blue is one of the City exploration colours (so any divers who appear in 2025 could have airtanks in this colour, for instance), while green and light grey are more suited to MK/CNY sets. CMFs and Creator sets are another possibility, as the former gave us purple and light grey torsos, while the latter featured a dark bley helmet.
  21. I think that “Arc Dragon” is just a misspelled mistranslation of Source Dragon; ‘arch’ is a prefix that indicates higher authority (archangels vs. angels, for instance). Also, we know that Source Dragons embody attributes (Motion, Strength, etc), so Focus makes more sense for a Source Dragon than it does for a matriarch/patriarch (who seem to just be the leaders of tribes of dragons in the Merged Realms). I doubt that he will get any actual redemption, but an uneasy alliance (which breaks down later in the season!) for enemy-of-my-enemy purposes seems plausible. Also, all of those rumours turned out to be fake. I doubt that Chi will have any direct connection to Elemental Powers, though it does confer the attributes of Source Dragons (Strength, Life, Focus, Motion, Energy, etc) when used. . . I am personally very curious about the Dragonians - Are they related to dragons (like Dragonborn)? We know that part-dragons can procreate with normal Humans (FSM), but their children look Human rather than dragon or oni; maybe Lloyd will have a Dragonian form, similar to his ONI form? I also wonder if the Dragonians are a tribe from Chima/the Wyldness, since the Realm has dragons, and their description is as anthropomorphic creatures. Maybe the Dragonians were a tribe in the Wyldness who swore their loyalty to the Forbidden Five during their conquest, which is why they are coming into play as the villain army now. 🤔
  22. No problem! 👍 The torsos being restocked multiple times makes me very hopeful that they will appear in a set sometime in 2025, since there cannot be this much overstock!
  23. The 2019 version is good, and a faithful update of the original (to include a Shadow Trooper!). Instead of QT-KT, we should have gotten Rebel Friend as the anniversary Minifig, and an updated Shadow Trooper in the new Stormie style. Maxbautde’s review on YouTube. The issue with Fleet Troopers is that either LEGO could go with non-Humans that can be represented with printed heads (Duros, Nikto, Weequay, etc) and put a chinstrap on them (which restricts their reusability), or they could scrap the helmet in order to include an alien with a moulded head (Rodian, et al). Both options suck, so I would rather get Human Fleet Troopers and just customise them with extra Duros and Rodian heads from the old BF2 pack. We do need more (and more affordable) alien heads, however! Something like a Jabba’s Palace pack with a Rodian, Gran, Quarren, and maybe Nikto (or other guard species) would be perfect!
  24. Orange Classic Space torsos are back in stock on PAB!!
