LEGO Star Wars 2023 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
Classic_Spaceman replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Update/correction from @lego_minecraft_goat: "No mechs, minifigure packs (in that weird packaging, plus the piece count is very big for one). Microfighters: very unlikely, maybe 75363." Additionally, 75363 does not have the same box size as 75368, 75369, and 75370; 75363 is (14.1cm x 12.2cm x 4.6cm), while the other three are (14.1cm x 4.5cm x 15.7cm). -

Description of the theme from Instagram: "Mateo and Izzy are the main characters who travel through their dreams with the help of purple mushrooms on a special ship controlled by chimpanzees (the concept is similar to the "Time Cruisers" line). Each set represents a specific dream, so the sets will be quite different from each other." -
Latest impact of other themes on historic themes
Classic_Spaceman replied to Wardancer's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
It probably just got renumbered, or there was some very slight design change (I cannot see any difference between it and the old crossbow). -
Black Falcons vs. Lion Knights comparison: I noticed that while the Black Falcons have armour on their arms and legs, the Lions do not (just a tunic over chainmail); as the Falcons' design is a rough approximation of partial plate armour, I gave them crossbows, breastplates, and later-Medieval helmets (visors and kettle helms). The Lions, conversely, appear to have an earlier Medieval design, so I use longbows, nasal helms, and greathelms for them. While not entirely historically-accurate, I find that these distinctions create a nice contrast between the factions.

Sonic the Hedgehog - Rumours and Discussion
Classic_Spaceman replied to Classic_Spaceman's topic in LEGO Licensed
Since the third 2023 CMF is confirmed to be Marvel, I doubt that we will get many characters aside from Sonic in these sets (since LEGO cannot use the CMF budget to offset the cost of new moulds). -
Latest CMF series impact on Historic themes
Classic_Spaceman replied to SirBlake's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I know! π I would use PDG for the Black Falcons, but the armour and helmets are too rare/expensive, and it would make the weapons stand out jarringly. Flat silver still looks good, though, since the torsos and legs have silver chainmail accents. BTW, I just noticed that the orc jaw piece fits the double pauldron armour without any tightness/resistance, so that should give some more options for orc armies. Also, the head from the Series 13 CMF goblin looks great on the new orc (when used with the jaw), in case you want some diversity amongst your orcs (or just to be able to use the jaw and the printed head). -

Not confirmed, and Emilia Clarke has also been rumoured to be playing a Skrull character, so we really do not know who she will be at this point. -

Lego Dreamzzz 2023
Classic_Spaceman replied to bricks4live1972's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
True, but I just realised that we normally do not see code names for actual sets (just for themes; see "Sparkle"). The individual names for these sets (rather than just being numbered "TITAN 1", "TITAN 2", etc) may suggest that they are at least somewhat descriptive. -

That is what I am thinking of as well (that, or a VIDIYO Pirate Punk ship stage set), which is why I am questioning whether these names actually are codenames. -

Thoughts on "Sharkship"? It seems weird that LEGO would use something that odd and specific as just a codename. -
Lego Dreamzzz 2023
Classic_Spaceman replied to bricks4live1972's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Maybe? The set codenames for TITAN suggest a more sci-fi theme than Dreamzzz would probably be, though. π€ BTW, Sparkle is a licensed theme comprised only of 4+ sets, so it is absolutely not Dreamzzz. -
LEGO Videogame Tie-Ins - Rumors & Discussion

Not at all surprising; unless Activision is successfully purchased by another company, I doubt that we will be seeing any more of their IPs for the foreseeable future. -
Four new Stuntz sets just leaked, one of which includes the Nexo Knights helmet recoloured in teal! π

The corpos that we see in Andor are Pre-Mor Enforcement (Preox-Morlana's security, who operated in the Morlana Sector/Free Trade Sector), not CorpSec (the Corporate Sector Authority, who police the Corporate Sector). Both organisations and sectors are similar, but definitely not the same, since while the Empire shut down Pre-Mor's operations in the Morlana Sector, the CSA continued to operate during and after the Galactic Civil War. -
Ah - Agreed. π

Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
Classic_Spaceman replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Since Agatha: CoC and Echo are likely to be delayed, and I can see LEGO making sets for Ironheart (because Iron Man) and X-Men '97 (a Quinjet-style Blackbird would be great!), that leaves us with Hawkeye, Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, Werewolf by Night, Secret Invasion, Loki Season 2, and What If. . . ? for this series. Considering that What If. . . ? is delayed (though I am not sure for how long), Kamala will be appearing in The Marvels, and Werewolf by Night is less appealing to/appropriate for children (being horror-focused), we can narrow things down even more. I expect something like: 1.) Clint 2.) Kate 3.) Moon Knight 4.) Mr. Knight 5.) She-Hulk 6.) Daredevil (red/yellow suit) 7.) Nick Fury (Secret Invasion) 8) Mobius 9.) Ravonna 10.) SI Character 1 11.) SI Character 2 or Kang Variant (Loki Season 2) 12.) Scarlet Scarab or Ms. Marvel (or both, and we only get one Secret Invasion character aside from Fury) I also think that we will not get Echo or Kingpin in this series (despite their appearing in Hawkeye), since they will also be appearing in Echo (and probably Daredevil: Born Again); we can get them in Series 3. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Classic_Spaceman replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Yes! There are a lot of characters that we need! -
I really hope that this is Classic Space-themed, since we could easily get a new (or remade) colour out of it! That would be nice, but Blacktronβs colour-scheme does not really lend itself well to a fairground ride. π

LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion

I doubt it, unfortunately. All other set-specific details (aside from the Minifig torso) are stickers, so I cannot see the computer being printed. -

Avengers Tower makes the most sense, but it also would have made more sense as the first large Marvel building (rather than the Bugle), so I am not sure that we can necessarily predict what this will be (beyond the standard candidates for large Marvel buildings). Additionally, there has not been any confirmation that this set will be a building (it is just our speculation based on the part count), so it could be a buildable object or micro scale layout.
