  1. Fake. The image is too blurry for a picture that seems to have been taken close to the Minifig, and with decent lighting. Additionally, the blue printing on the bottom of the torso aligns perfectly with the hips (no boarder that official figures have).
  2. Recently, a rumour surfaced about Gorian Shard's pirate gang:
  3. We already have a thread for this:
  4. Video link, with photo source in the comments.
  5. Video link. While he does say that a source told him about the Luminara/2x 442nd/2x B2 lineup, he also seems uncertain that this is the case, since he also suggests that the set could include the 327th or 41st. Good point, but they have also been being very weird lately (see Indy!!), so I would not be surprised if they have not fixed the printing issue yet.
  6. That actually makes me think that it is real, since fakes/customs generally lack the minor imperfections of official parts (see printing that extends to the edges of the torsos and hips, and below the knees). True, but other, more plausible, guesses have been the 327th, the 41st, and P2 Shinies. I do see what you mean, though, since the 442nd strikes the right balance of implausibility and plausibility (since it is not a highly-requested unit, but it is also a reasonable inclusion in an ISP set) to be believable. Source? Also, @FoggyFate said that the Swamp Speeder would include four Minifigs, not three, and B2s have been out of production for years (due to breakage). And what about Rex? If he is not included, then that calls ALL leaks reported by Insider Bricks into question (including the the Pirates D2C!). The 442nd is Canon.
  7. Interesting; the Minifig's printing looks real (i.e. it does not extend to the edges of the torso and hips, and the helmet printing has gaps on either side of the fin), but it could just be an edit of the 212th Clone. What leads me to believe that this is actually legit is the lack of any grey dirt printing, despite the presence of grey contour lines (meaning that the figure is not misprinted). As for the green print, the 442nd is generally depicted with a similar level of weathering to the 212th (unlike the 501st and 187th, which usually have little to none), so I can see LEGO reusing the 212th print in green (since the 442nd are just colour-swaps of the 212th anyway). Additionally, why would someone fake a leak of a 442nd Trooper? Not only are they obscure and rather unlikely to appear in a Summer set (maybe the Swamp Speeder, but pairing them with Rex is weird), making a convincing fake requires editing and recolouring an entire 212th Trooper. It would be far easier to fake a P2 Shiny, since we already have the torso and legs (so only the helmet would need to be edited/have print removed/be a decal), and it would be a far more believable inclusion for the only known Clone-related set releasing this Summer.
  8. The mechborg would be an interesting build, but I am not sure how it would be a $45, 526-piece set. I do wonder if the set is something that appears in 3x01/3x02, but only becomes significant later in the season (Bo-Katan’s castle or part of Nevarro, for instance). Yes - You can tell by looking at the belts, shins, and upper thighs. Not really; the 41st was deployed to Kashyyyk from Coruscant, so it makes sense that they would be on-hand to fight in the Battle of Coruscant. The scenes do not take place at the same time, so there is really no conflict.
  9. These are grey-marked 41st, not Shinies.
  10. Only Vane's had red markings, though I do wish that the set came with alternate stickers (like the Quinjet does) to allow for customisation.
  11. That is exactly what it is - Good catch! 👍
  12. It has a bit of a purple tint, like a Trans-Blue-Violet.
  13. Or concept art. That said, given how heavily they are leaning into the pirate motif with Shard, I would be surprised if there is not a sabre duel involving him and/or Vane when he shows back up (explaining the sword in the set).
  14. On rewatching the dogfight scene from the Mando S3 premiere, I noticed that none of the snubfighter pilots wear the outfit that the Minifig has. Considering that Gorian Shard is coming back later in the season (from trailer shots), Vane did not use a sword in the premiere, and there are at least two other Niktos on Shard's flagship, I wonder if this set is actually based on a later episode. 🤔
  15. The snub fighter looks good, though seemingly a bit small compared to the real ship. Only getting two Minifigs and Vane's head being reused for the pilot are disappointing considering that the set is $35, but the new(?) bandana mould is a nice surprise (along with the recoloured Lightyear canopy). BTW, can anyone tell what colour the canopy is? I initially thought Trans-Black, but it seems bluish. Maybe a new colour? 🤔
  16. I am not seeing any goggles; the eyes just look a bit larger and closer together (and they may also have eyebrows/lines above them). Dewit. It actually will be worse if you do not tell us, because of the inevitable combination of rampant speculation and fake leakers making shit up. 😐 As for some rampant speculation of my own: No Rex in the ISP? He is a weird inclusion, and not getting him would piss off LSW fans (particularly the loudest ones).
  17. Please stop getting your news from Doomcock.
  18. Source? LEGO.com has a one-set limit for it (which is actually down from the limit of three when it first released, IIRC), which suggests that it is selling well. The Galaxy Explorer was only discounted briefly at Walmart, and is now back up to around $100.
  19. 👍 The issue with Galactic Marines is that they wear Snowtrooper helmets; the current part is single-moulded, so either the front mask would need to be printed white (or pink, rather 🤢) or the top helmet would need to be dark red. Neither of these solutions seem likely, so the only way that I can see us getting Galactic Marines is if LEGO moves to a two-part Snowtrooper helmet. No. We are not getting 501st Troopers in the ISP. From a simple business standpoint, which set is a parent more likely to buy; a $20 set with four Clones that only appear in BF2, or a $25 set with Rex and three Troopers that appear in both TCW and RotS? LEGO would be competing with themselves if they put 501st Clones in the Swamp Speeder. Disappointing. I will still probably get the set, since the fighter design is good and I liked the scene, but the lack of a third Minifig is frustrating (especially since it means that we are probably not getting a S3 Greef!). Are you sure? The image is very blurry, but the pilot's head seems to be lighter than Vane's and his eyes look different.
  20. I called it! The figures do look good, though (leg printing, Vane’s cap, the Klatooinian’s recoloured/reprinted helmet, nice amount of detailing overall). I am assuming that Greef’s new drip will be the third Minifig, since Din can be included in another set (confirmed for the N-1 Microfighter, possibly the Fang Fighter vs. TIE Interceptor, as well as the rumoured $45 Mando set). Agreed. Also, the 41st is Luminara’s unit, not Yoda’s.
  21. I am trying not to get my hopes up too much, and considering the number of large sets that are coming out this year (details of a $215 Pirates set just leaked!), I would be fine with waiting until next year (not that I want to, though).
  22. The "Vault D2C" listing suggests that this is a remake/modernisation of a classic set, and the fact that we got PoBB and the Creator 3-in-1 pirate ship only a few years ago makes me think that this will be something for the Imperials. The part-count of 2509 for $215 is close enough to the PoBB's 2545 for $200 that I suspect that this will be a location rather than a ship (the largest Pirates ship (the Imperial Flagship) only had 1664, and even the Ninjago Movie Destiny's Bounty had 2295). My bet is a new Eldorado Fortress. BTW, does anyone else think that we could get a Sabre Island remake as a GWP? It is roughly the same size as the previous classic GWPs (Forestmen's Hideout, Blacktron Cruiser), and would make a nice complementary outpost. Edit: And I just saw this thread - It seems that I am not the only one who thinks that Sabre Island would make a great GWP!
  23. I just had a thought - What if this is a Bad Batch set? The Empire used ISPs in Legends, so maybe that will carry over into Canon by way of a future TBB episode. If that is the case, then I can see the Minifigs being Rex, 2-3 P2 Shinies, and maybe Crosshair or another member of the batch. 🤔
  24. Next year at the earliest, since it seems preliminary (and may just be a proof-of-concept for the purposes of the survey).
