This looks great, well done. Really like how you have filled it up. On the clutter comment I think you could remove the two small red chairs as the big one is there and they don't really add anything extra that isn't there already. Love it.

Anyway he is being tight lipped about which Target, he just said Maryland to me again and I'm not going to annoy him but If they are in the wild it can't be too long for the release. Just keep checking you local one I'd say.

Not much detail in the picture but its on the CRAZY AFOL's group on Facebook. He says its a Target shop and they were placed out in the wrong place with a $5.99 tag under them. I've asked him what Target for you.

It doesn't have a way to do that. Thats all he said, it has a $5.99 price under it and he said he was tempted to buy a whole box at target at $4.99 each. No clarification that he had seen them in the Target store as well though. Maybe he thought they might have them. I'll ask him.

Hoping to get Diagon Alley day one here but buying off lego.com is always a terrifying experience if you are trying to nab something before it sells out. The website is notorious for breaking down, there has been so many occasions when I couldn't even get into it because of high traffic. And getting the free sets with purchase is never guaranteed due to how much stock they have of it. I was going to get the mini diagonal alley last time but it was gone straight away here in Australia. They had none by morning of release. A lot of sets don't go live here at midnight as well, I always presumed because we are so far ahead in time zones compared to the rest of the world but its very annoying as you have to hope it didn't go live while you were asleep. And the new vip points system has been a nightmare as well. My account didn't work for 6 month after the change over, my point eventually reappeared but now after using it in Australia for years it has suddenly reverted back to Euro when I try and redeem my points. I have to call them to try and fix it but they are so busy at the moment. Love my lego but no love for the website.

I really don't see them revealing Diagon Alley without Gringotts and if it wasn't included they would have to reveal it at the same time as a seperate set. It just doesn't make sense (here is all the street minus one iconic building). If it was modular I'd be fine with that and I think this is why people say they would be happy for it to be seperate as they would be happy to buy a building every year and have all the extra detail that modular builds get. Buy its not modular at $400 so I just don't see it happening. Ignore the trolls and all their doppelgangers

I do love how people can never seem to focus their phone whenever they take a leaked lego photo. I'm always shocked, its 2020 people. Anyway the Weasley Wizard Wheezes sticker sheet is interesting. We have two large sections of wall graffiti stickers which i think are from the back side of the building, the windows take up two sides and then this is around the corner. Interested to see where they add these. We also have a shirt and tie sticker of the large animated figure from the front of the building. The sign for the shop is long as well so we must be getting a large section of the orange windows. As for the rest of the sheet there are a lot of mystery ones I have no idea what they are but there are two types of shop packaging ones down the bottom (purple and green and orange and purple) and the sticker down the bottom with the black and white figure in the circle looks like Edward's unbreakable eggs maybe or another Edwards product anyway.

Really confused by the lego cfm reveal or lack of it. If they are shipping them out around the world already you would think they would have revealed them by now. They seem to have plugged a lot of the lego leaks from factories but not their own stupidity. On the matter of the creatures I don't mind the lego built versions, they can usually be upgraded to make them better but I do think lego needs to make new creature based parts. Wings and heads are the minimum. Some new rounder parts for limbs would really help. A middle ground between the old full mould and the new brick built.

Three exclusive characters that you would not get otherwise, I think that's great for an Advent calendar. But I suppose if you are not into the Yule ball its a bit of a bummer. It would have been cool to get an adult, Krakaroff would have been amazing.

The advent calendar has been revealed. Both twins and Cho in her dress, Looks great. All have the dress printed on a brick like Hermione. I think Cho is my favourite figure, all the other builds look great as well. Must buy.

Just watch it and I didn't remember how unfinished it was with a lot of the parts being the wrong colour. What was the black thing with the print on it though? Not a lot chanced from this version but it looked like play details got removed for more recolours of parts but the ugly snake build wasn't revisited. Do lego do this anymore, show unfinished sets in the final stages? Seems very un-lego.

It must be so depressing to have to butcher your cool model to fit into the budget. The white door frames are a perfect example of it in the astronomy tower set. Nasty looking things.

yes but my wallet might be happy I don't see them. I think I always see what could have been when i see certain sets. I often think I need two of a set to make it right, two Sanctum Sanctorum sets 76108 to make the scale a bit better, two Arkham Asylum breakout 10937 to make it modular, two greta halls (or 10!!!!). It doesn't apply to everything but a certain price point often feels like it needs extra pieces. The Ninjago movie city set is perfect but the docks expansion definitely had better versions before budget took away from it. I've left the first set the same but added to the docks part to make it taller like the original.

I think you just explained the problem with the movie yourself, if you need more movies to enjoy the movie you just watch it probably isn't a very good or well made. I didn't mind the first one but the COG was a mess and badly written and doesn't know who its characters are. Such a mess. I'm not sure how movies like this and the last two star wars movies get made. Piles of stupid sub plots and badly written characters. We really should expect more for our money. Questions for the designers that the won't answer. I wonder do they build, during the design phase, a deluxe version of the sets they are making and then have to crop it down to fit budget. Would love to see the no budget worry version of the sets.

While we wait for some news I got the new Hidden side piece today so did a quick moc of the Attack on the Burrow with Bellatrix apparating. i think the piece is great, works really well.
