Has anyone picked up the new Harry potter Magical Treasure book? Was looking to get it in Australia but it seems like it's not released here till end September. Bummer.

Kmart australia is doing its usual messing around when it comes to pricing the new Harry Potter stuff. They started getting the sets in this week and I got the two small sets together for $64 but was in there today and they are up to $70 now. All the other new Harry potter sets have gone up too. They do this every year. Target have 20%off at the moment and its across all the new sets so shop there I think but no Burrow listed yet.

Started Privet Drive moc, only have the first floor don't so far. Its actually fun to do a house as opposed to the castle for a bit.

I'd love a bunch of them but they are hard to find. None on bricklink and the lego store is out of them in oz. So only way to get one at mo is to get a star wars set. Maybe not :)

I do love the new sets but with a little tinkering you can get a very movie accurate version. Love what you've done with it. I think a lot of people will try and reproduce this version. Well done. On the picture quality, took me a while to figure out how to add photos to eurobricks. They don't really offer a picture hosting service so I made a Flickr account and then you can copy the address of your picture from there and paste it in here and you'll get nice high quality photos. Can't wait to see more.

I'm always looking for multiples anyway so I might as well just bite the bullet and get a full box this year. That will be a fun day of opening bags. Hopefully we get the reveal of Diagon Alley soon. So many theories as to what we will be getting, I hope it lives up to our expectations. I do hope we get some street pieces not just seperate buildings. Just picked up the last of the new Harry Potter sets, they finally got the student pack in in the lego store near me in Melbourne. I've started upgrading Privet Drive already which I wasn't too fussed about getting but am excited to expand upon now. Still annoyed they put another car in it though. I've got 5 cars now.

While we wait for some new Harry Potter news here is my latest moc. I finished my custom Burrow. I actually really like the offical set but I can never leave the Harry Potter stuff alone. Blended two sets but it did need lots of extra bits to finish the roof and walls. Its fully enclosed, both sides open up on the ground floor and the side wall of the top sections. Interiors up on instagram @micmacpadwac. I just saw the new Super Mario line revealed and they have a blind bag series for it. If they release in august they surely would not have the Harry potter blind bag running at the same time. Hope it isn't delayed now :(

not really sure what's going on with lego.com not have the sets but Target are getting them in next month according to them so I presume they are lego exclusives for june (even though lego don't have them :). the lego shops have been getting them in though.

Looks great, in hindsight they should have included this section with the original set. What have you put inside it?

Yeah when she was revealed I was surprised they didn't include a dress piece for her, maybe they are expensive to produce. It should be patterned but sure this one will do. I haven't put the stickers on it but this is the new set with all white frames removed and walls added to the side. The walls just make Slughorn's room hard to get at but i think it looks a lot better. Also fixed up Lavender figure

It feels totally different this year to the normal roll out of the summer wave (winter here). All the major retail stores have no stock of the new harry potter or ninjago wave. None of them, Big w, Target, Kmart, Myer. Target are getting the Harry potter range in next month according to them. Toyworld who usually are day one sellers have nothing new from lego. None of the online lego sellers in melbourne have any of the Harry potter stuff or most of the new wave either. Lego.com.au listed a few harry potter set but not the full range and what they put up is sold out in the first half of the day. And the Lego shop near me had some of the sets that are listed as coming soon on the website but they were available in store. I've never seen the website not have a set release but you could get it in the store. And the sets that they did have were limited in store, the Astronomy tower was sold out by lunchtime and it wasn't even that busy there today.

I think the lack of the new sets and the low stock levels has just shown that the Coronavirus virus has really affected the Lego group and that things will be like this for a while. I think i and maybe others were under the impression that when the release dates were not changed everything was still running normally at lego. No so. Not pissed off just an eye opener.

I'd wait until they post you first part of the order and then try and cancel.

They will split it. They will send what they have now and the rest later.
