  1. I ordered wings and enemy feet, to give a try to fantasy brickbuilt creatures. Not many ideas for the other parts though...
  2. That snow, on the roof and out of the frame, is absolutely marvellous! The warehouse architecture is great too - sturdy, efficient, with just the right amount of ornament for an utility building.
  3. Impressive quarry! The rockwork is great, and you did a very nice job with staging and minifig posing!
  4. Well...Frøstdjur may look cute at microscale, but really impressive at minifig scale! You're really good at creating brickbuilt creatures. I especially like the eyes and tail - very appropriate for a frost dragon!
  5. How beautiful! The color gradient on the rocks looks marvellous, and I really like the clouds. The dragon looks actually quite...cute at this scale.
  6. @(Luc)ky Luke Thank you very much! I had quite a tough time with the mirror, so glad you like it! @Eoin Wallace Thank you! I envisioned the roof to echo dwarven helmets... @socalbricks Thank you so much! I'm really glad you enjoy it!
  7. Congrats to everyone, it was impressive how unique each entry was, and how many different stories they told. I feel so grateful and honoured right now! Thank you all, and thank very much @Peppermint_M for hosting this contest!
  8. And the (butter)beers...How could I forget the (butter)beers?? I think that, for the first time, I'll get a whole CMF box.
  9. Well, those parts with a price of 0.00 currently cannot be bought : they appear as "not available"...
  10. The box of the upcoming HP CMF leaked, there seem to be quite a few parts of interests for us medieval/fantasy builders : - Gryffindor's sword (hard to tell if it's a new mould, a recolor, or a standard sword…) - Fawkes the phoenix (already seen on the previous leaked images) - New books! - New printed minifig parts (including new skirts!!), new hats, new hairpieces.
  11. I'd love such a village too! The upcoming "Halloween Hayride" set could be a first step toward such a village.
  12. @Kai NRG Thank you very much! I have to thank my husband for the idea - it came to me when he was commenting on how high maintenance those fancy fantasy dwarfs' beards should be, while I was looking at that new Friends set for my little niece… @zoth33 Thank you! It took me a while to be satisfied with the windows and the arches, so I'm glad you like them! @Ayrlego Thank you so much! I'm really glad you think the roof has a dwarven flair, as I tried to emulate the look of a dwarven helmet. The portraits are a parody of the impeccably styled ladies that decorate the walls of my own hairdresser's salon… @The Stad Thank you! The mirror was not the easiest detail to do, as most LEGO mirrors feature stickers (and I hate stickers)... @Grover Thank you very much! There is actually an axe and a saw inside the chest. I had planned to have them peek out from there, but forgot it when I took the photos...
  13. Main topic edited! Added @Grover's Avalonian Crown Lily and seagull, and the white nettle and Omurtag Zwergpinscher featured in my latest GoH MOC.
  14. This is my entry for this year's Summer Joust, in the "Every Set Could be a Castle Set" category. It's a castle-ification of Friends set 41391 Heart Lake City Hair Salon - and a freebulid for Mitgardia as well as an Age of Mitgardia House II entry here in GoH! _______________________________ As a Dwarven barber, Per Wilkinsson had always considered that facial hair was a matter of utmost importance. A silky, impeccably plaited moustache showed off high social status in a tasteful, distinguished way. A disheveled, bushy beard indicated more than just a lack of elegance. He had been apprentice to the best barbers in Omurtag, had obtained the repected title of Master, and had learned all the arcane secrets of his art. He was at the very peak of his career when his wife unexpectedly inherited a significant mining concession in some remote, backwater corner of the Heavenly Mountains. And she decided they would move there. A simple life and the jolly atmosphere of a familial mine, away from the vicissitudes of the bustling city - that's what she suddenly wanted for their children. Undaunted, Per decided he would open his own barber shop there, civilize the local savages and bring them the light and benefits of proper beard grooming. _______________________________ As usual, a few more information of plants and animals is included in the hidden section below! And, also, a comparison with the source set.
  15. My latest order showed up yesterday! A mix of very colorful parts… … and more subdued ones for my Guilds of Historica builds. I lamented that the 1x3 curved arch, wedge with stud notch and tile with cut corner did not exist in reddish brown when I began my mead hall, I'm so glad they are available now! @MKJoshA Many colorful trees indeed seem to be coming! May I ask what the pink part at the bottom left of your first photo is (the one with a weird shape and a stud)?
  16. @NOD Thank you so much for those kind words!
  17. As usual, your snowscapes are gorgeous. This stable is indeed a valuable contribution to rural Mitgardian architecture!
  18. I loved the comics (have not seen the cartoon), and your build does justice to its atmosphere!
  19. Welcome to Eurobricks! This is a very nice MOC.I too enjoy hiking in the Austrian Alps, and I think you managed to recreate the charm of an actual Almhütte. The kitchen/cheese room is especially well done (that sausage machine is genius)! Pretty marmots too.
  20. This house looks really great! The texture of the wall is very well balanced, detailed enough but not overdone. Very well done, good luck with the Summer Joust!
  21. How nice! Many interesting parts usage - the handbags, as previously mentioned, and also the pickaxes within the rocks.
  22. So many great castles lately! A nice Dwarven Mine showed up yesterday too (with a clear position concerning the everlasting debate on whether Dwarven Ladies should or should not wear the beard too) : Chimney Tree Mine by Buildboy-the-Hobbuilt
  23. @Alex THELEGOFAN Interesting, thank you very much for sharing! Now I've added quite a few parts to my B&P wishlist...
