  1. It should've been a limit of two, just like always. They really didn't care about pirates sets in this one. Also, the Bricklink forums are a bit too advanced for me to navigate in, but I've attempted to get their attention about this dire need of ours.
  2. Ah, so this was yours. I've browsed few pictures on internet and was interested about source of this one, since there was only a small, unclear image of her available. Very pleasing job, now that I can see her fully.
  3. No big fuss to set up a VIP account, just register. That said, it's not a personal preference of mine but fair enough for others.
  4. Good parts! Thought most of this is available in POBB (I'm not complaining at all about it). Just one more thing, the fact that these are VIP add-ons is quite a let down (not for all, surely). Aye, as I'm guessing (least the blog says so). I don't use Lego.com for shopping, due to there being other good stores with same amount of sets available with discounts. This could've worked a lot better as a casual standalone polybag or something along them lines. Alright, I'll stop ranting at this point. On the positive note, let's for a sequel to this.
  5. Did the survey. Come to think of it, when there were options for forums, only Reddit was mentioned, EB wasn't mentioned anywhere at all. It's no big fuss, just gets me thinking if Lego sub-reddit is more popular than the entirety of Eurobricks.
  6. How daft must've I been to miss her the first time. Really, really amazing work. That brick-built bow solution is a lot better than what I had come up with, I might borrow few sketches of it if ye don't mind. So far so good.
  7. They really have to release the good stuff as VIP add-on.
  8. I'd be settled for a fleet of those.
  9. A gunboat, to be precise.
  10. I don't recall much of it but apparently it is a contest winner from a year ago (not really sure if it was a year ago). Aye, that be true. Here's the original vessel:
  11. Yeah, was expecting this one to be cheaper. Guess I'm gonna have to wait for a discount on it (if I decide to buy it). Gotta take every chance on getting a pirate-themed set.
  12. Don't know why, but to me it feels like it came out of the blue. Still, a great model indeed. That box art is going to be debateable until they drop it or something along those lines.
  13. Well, it's been almost a year since this topic has been active but in spirit of keeping this alive (and me wanting to try out for a long time) I've created multiple Jacks from his hallucination crew during his time in Davy Jones' Locker. Casual Jack is the one in the middle with tricorne and rest of them are customs. I'm planning to make few more variations in the future (for a build of mine ). Right now I have in mind the topless version and I'm thinking that this torso from The Lego Batman Movie would do just fine: Let me know what ye think about my variations and if you have any suggestions for more be free to tell.
  14. Use Flickr, paste the image link in here and it'll pop right then and there. There are, of course, many other sites for hosting images. Ye can do a little reasearch on that.
  15. A good possibility. One thing that makes me a bit nervous is the fact that Disney permitted Lego to name Slave I set and instead they had to go with the other title. Not sure if it's a good thing, not allowing Lego to make certain sets like Jabba's Palace because it might depict slavery. This could affect Indy too. (Once again, it's just a quick thought of mine, let's not start a heated argument over this, eh?)
  16. A nice MOD, captain. I must say the sails look a bit off but still are a nice touch among other things added. I haven't had a chance at buying this one, so I'm guessing the prefab is two studs wider? Now, when regarding railing for this and BSB, I did a little MOD on Barracuda and made the main deck and forecastle railing a plate higher than initially. Now me crew are much safer on the ship and have less risk of falling off. Good job on the MOD!
  17. Quite the build there! Truly enough, story behind it is a tragic one. Natives didn't deserve what happened to them. On a more positive note, I like the busy look this build has and in my opinion it's a fair representation of such event. Amazing job!
  18. That part is a bit outdated, isn't it? It's been out of production for handful of years.
  19. Which sets are you referring to?
  20. So far looks very nice, would be interested seeing how she comes together in the end. This sounds rather interesting...
  21. I know a specifically good use for that monkey...
  22. Fair enough, must've missed it at some point but like it very much.
  23. Not a bad one. Now all we need is a fair representation of a ball (haven't seen one of those yet).
  24. It be a fine upgrade BUT - do you have some more pictures, particularly close-ups?
  25. Creating new factions, are we?
