  1. I'm hoping that it has arc reactor printed, could be useful to make a special version.
  2. I'm quite confused about the ''Iron Man with ugly Christmas sweater'' from the Advent Calendar leak. How could one possibly make an ugly Iron Man torso (unless it doesn't feature anything from Iron Man)?
  3. So this is what Steve is doing nowadays, as he has grown old and bastardy. May his treasures multiply for years to come and let's hope that the kid won't run away with them once he grows up.
  4. Here I was thinking that your Silent Mary floats in the air. Chinese sails don't hold up well, do they? Honestly, as I've browsed Aliexpress few times to find some fun bootlegs, I've never found Brick Bounty, not even once. All I can find is some weird mix between the Pearl and Queen Anne: Those figures are way too funny.
  5. You're welcome, game is a lot of fun and has bunch of cool characters, ship models, jokes and puzzles to spend many hours on, oh, and after you collect enough gold bricks, there is a certain surpirse awaiting, a gentle nod to the classic POTC ride...
  6. This explains quite a lot. Lego POTC video game had a version of The Flying Dutchman and it had the very same octopus on the back. Someone must've made digital model, like with the Pearl and afterwards it was copied by Chinese manufacturers. Here is the supposed game version: It seems that they have changed few things on the ship which you'll most notably notice.
  7. This surely has been a long day for this topic.
  8. A brick-built hull, eh? Don't mind me, I'll just take some notes hehe! Another amazing creation, Captain Supersick, or should I say - Admiral, cause that seems more fitting at this point. I find it interesting how you integrate Egyptian mythology with age of sail. Keep at it, good job!
  9. Does this one have an octopus mould attached on the back? I'm thinking this one:
  10. One of the better looking Lego schools lately in general. I'm not much of a fan Friends theme (owning 3 sets from the theme) but this school really fits pretty much anywhere, which is a good enough of a reason for anyone to buy it. That said I doubt I'll buy this set at any point. I have no interest of building a school and besides, there's enough sets this year to buy already. Good review!
  11. ''Fifteen men on the Dead Man's chest, yo-ho-ho and a bottle of rum!'' *insert Mr. Gibbs laughing* So this is what she looks like, nice water diorama there. I've seen a few but this one's new. It's good, aye, but I'm guessing they just took a fan design and made it into a set. Nonetheless, she's a vessel (those green cannons are quite interesting).
  12. Now all that's missing is Gibbs, Marty and Scrum. Talking about Marty - I'm glad they brought him back in 5th movie, though I thought that he died with rest of the crew when Pearl was trapped by Blackbeard.
  13. Ah yes, Lego POTC video game - the first ever video game I completed 100%. Brings back certain amount of nostalgia, though it wasn't that long ago.
  14. Fair points. I'm not much of a chemist meself. I don't think we should worry about it melting when staying in one place for a long time. As long as Lego is not exposed to sunlight, all is good for a certain amount of time (but we already discussed how all good things come to an end in another topic Toastie, so there isn't much that can be said anymore).
  15. Didn't Lego change brick formula in late 2000s? I think that newer bricks could be prevented from melting, then again not that many years have passed since 2010.
  16. It fits best from all modular Hogwarts parts into the 2018-2020 line-up.
  17. Thanks, but I think I'll pass. As I said earlier my story isn't that interesting, besides it's still being written.
  18. What's this, a topic from 2005? Well I must say that yer story is rather an interesting one and surely more in-depth than mine will ever be (more or less). 6235 is such a bonus to get chrome gold coins and a monkey, rare things nowadays. A good pirate cannot survive without such equipment.
  19. I meself prefer more of his 70s work like Every Picture Tells a Story (album, not the song, I prefer other ones from the album more than title track) and also The Faces period. Rhytm of My Heart is rather nice, then again so are Lego Pirates . Rod Stewart isn't my favourite artist but isn't far from top 5 either (I might overexaggerate it).
  20. The very same, though it seems that the song was originally sung in 74' by The Persuaders.
  21. True enough. I do hope we get some builds apart from vehicles. They're nice, just I might have a bit too many of them.
  22. Well, as the old song goes - ''Some Guys Have All the Luck'' (Alright, it's not as old but was sung a fair time ago). I am intrigued by the site's name though.
  23. You could try building her from BL orders, no? I think that there weren't any exclusives to the set, though piecing it together through orders isn't as fun as building a sealed set...
  24. What, how, when and why?? At this point I have more questions than answersss!!
