I would buy most of these in a heartbeat, especially that gunship. We need a new system-scale LAAT. Given the past few times the death star retired, we'll just see another death star. Probably $600 with an updated figure selection and a few more parts. jedi temple would be great though, there are so many great sets we could have had from MBS if only it hadn't been discarded so soon.

Looks great, I like the red baron joke. That said, @AndrewShun is right, you may want to consider changing the white bricks to a different color.

This looks great, almost like a UCS tank droid. one question, is the jedi that guy that rides the Can-cell on kashyyyk? -

UCS burned-out Lars Homestead with exclusive arm and leg printing and dual molding for charred Owen and Beru. I don't mean to sound rude but this is what I was afraid of. Full-on UCS sets, ESPECIALLY vehicles, rarely have more than one or two figures. Most likely we'll see a clone pilot, maybe a clone, and the "fan choice" figure, and nothing else, and people'll all get mad that it doesn't have an entire company of soldiers. My point's just don't get your hopes up. Please no, you're gonna start a repeat of those pages of puns in that "otter" thread. I agree though that these recent ones are really good, I've only managed to snatch up the endor one but it looks very nice. Best case scenario is a combination, like an exclusive Veers with the hoth, or Nien Numb in the new DS2 one, but since that'll never happen, I do think these recent ones are pretty good. That said, should there ever be a new opportunity for revan I'll take that over these in a heartbeat! -

Ugh, if we don't get at least one new suit that'll be seriously annoying. I agree with what appears to be the majority opinion here that the MCU helmet mold is better for MCU and comic mold is better for comics. -
Whaaaat? The one where vader slaughters a ton of rebels in cold blood.....isn't kid friendly? I agree, but the U-wing isn't related too any of the darker scenes (unless it's literally dark, in which case I guess eadu ), but that might be a factor keeping them down. Same opinion about the jedi temple. It'd best be done as an MBS, but it's unlikely. I'm lucky enough to own one (I think I got it for like $80, sans figures....I still need zeb ), but I agree the fact that it's risen to such bonkers prices is evidence enough it needs another set. I'll exercise caution and put these TCW 7x09 "old friends not forgotten" sets into a spoiler, but there's nothing major. be warned it's very unrealistic, there's 4 battle packs.

Vaughn is literally a recolor of cody, down to the rank rectangle thing on his chestplate. That would be great, I'm still holding out that the possible extra set someone mentioned is for S7 and has whatever doesn't come in the tank. And I think unfortunately Vaughn is unlikely, given that he's a cody recolor and if they wouldn't make that mold for cody they won't for Vaughn. I agree it's not a big deal, but it still would make sense to put it in a spoiler. Not really anything you said worth getting upset about though, it's all so minor. And I mean, -

I think I missed something, there's 4 Iron men in this wave? Are you including rescue and War machine? Also, I don't think these funko suits are super likely, but black widow and captain america's figures especially would look great. As much as I'd love to say an online raffle for everyone or as VIP rewards, they'll probably just raffle them among the people who bought tickets, if at all. -
This actually sounds very realistic. Only thing I'd say is Jedi temple seems unlikely, and I'd almost expect another remake of the death star in there. I think U-wing isn't too much to expect for 2022, the film made a fair amount of money and it's a pretty recognizable vehicle, though I agree the TIE bomber should also be on there. (Side note, if we get a UCS TIE bomber before the first system one since 2003, I will officially give up on lego )

Same here, I kept saying I thought we'd see something like rex, 501st jet/normal 212th trooper, and 2 501st troopers. I'm fine with it though. makes them better for army-building, I just hope he's in another set this wave. I never liked how much tan was on the last one. That's a good way of explaining it, lego scales their sets to the price they have. Come to think of it, that could explain some non-UCS sets too (AT-RT, anyone ) -
Interesting idea, it could sell for figures alone if they do sets like the ones you're saying.

Same here. looks great, very sleek, balance between studs/tiles, reasonably priced, etc, I just don't have too much interest in UCS given they tend to be really expensive. Rex makes more sense to be in any given cato neimoidia set since he'll be present at the battle, but I agree ahsoka is also very likely, and if it's between ahsoka and rex they'd probably choose ahsoka. That said, the two of them are the poster characters for TCW, and it'd be sad if they don't both show in the wave for the final season. Hopefully, either they're both in the tank or that possible other set someone mentioned has one, but to be honest I'd be fine with getting either ahsoka or any clone besides the ones in the other sets. So yup, death star 2 battle is GWP. I wonder what it'll look like, there's no iconic trench run. I guess it makes sense since it's where the A-wing first appeared and is most well known for being in, but I do wish we'd start getting figures again. -

Mandalorianknight replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
I think the idea that they're new characters comes from the report stating "agents" in the hulkbuster and helicarrier I think, and then specifically saying they don't know 2 tower figures. You wanna keep talking about it, be my guest -
From the old toy story line, it came with some army men in a "battle pack" of sorts. i can see the differences now between the fighters, and nice reference to the answer to life, the universe, and everything.

Yeah, makes sense, I personally have no interest in buying a UCS A-wing but it's nice to know it'll be the classic dark red. Given @jdubbs complaint bingo, I doubt it'll come with parts for multiple colors. Given that the AAT is almost certainly based on the battle of Cato Neimoidia, I'm eager to see the figure selection. I think the best case scenario is rex, "worst" case for republic is another 501st. I highly doubt that it'd be another anakin or kenobi, or that there wouldn't be any "good guys" at all. -

To move the discussion away from criminal acts of a DC character, who do you guys think the unknown avengers tower characters will be? -
Looks great! I like the brighter colours switching it up. Like @DrMuttonchops I believed this to be a rogue-class like Cad Bane's fighter, but it's cool to see it's a new one. I really like the technique with the guns that use this piece towards the base, as well as the binocular part by the cockpit.

This is hilarious. A few months ago I would have thought that this was just a joke, but the razorcrest and 501st sets have taught me there is nothing people won't complain about. I'll take @ToaDraco's advice and ready my bingo card. Side note, are you confirming it's dark red or just using it because it's the most likely color? -

Oh, as @Guyon2002 I just meant it could work for the figure, I didn't mean it was a leak of her. The bag you could cover with her head tail thing. same here, finale version would be much better to get. 1. I see your point, it makes for good simultaneos army building. Especially if drops to 10 euro, that's a great deal! 2. Upon some brickset checking, yeah, with 1 1/2 exceptions it's one exclusive figure per customer. 3. oh, that makes more sense. Personally I'm stoked to be able to get this poe in a set besides the y-wing, I just think the design is cool. So from the new CW trailer that's 100% Cato Nemodia, which makes the 501st legion set directly fit from that trailer (or the next episode, I guess). I just think it's cool that they're probably direct tie-ins, even if it does mean ahsoka's less likely for the AAT. -
I try to only have purist lego but dang...that's tempting. I never could find a solution for sabines arms, as the armor is so multicoloured and the bare arms she has in the sets makes no sense whatsoever.

Harry Potter 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
Mandalorianknight replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Yup. "Oh maybe there's some new harry potter information". Nope, it's apparently multiple pages of otter jokes and a conspiracy about children's books akin to the SW UCS silhouette conspiracy. Whotter the odds of that resurfacing for a different theme? Upon detection of a prequel meme, I have entered the discussion . I don't buy the sets but I do like the actual Harry potter books they're based on, I'm glad there'll be more patronuses. -

1. the rebel fleet trooper was in a cheaper set before that as well, though I agree it's still hard to army build the calendar doesn't really provide a huge advantage here. (I personally just collect the 2008 one that's like $3 each on bricklink, I have more of them than I probably should ), and while it's technically a better deal to get the guavian from this set it's 1 cent cheaper to buy 2 copies and get 2 soldiers than the set with 2 soldiers and their boss. My point is just that advent calendars aren't really supposed to function as army builders. Cloud car pilot is the only example I can think of where we got a previously expensive, massable character in a calendar (though why anyone needs an army of cloud car pilots is beyond me) 2. Advent calendars rarely have new characters. Besides random resistance officer #472 and Merrick, there actually aren't any, I think. There's always one character with new printing, and in all but the past few years it's been christmas themed, as is the point of an advent calendar (personally this is the first one I'll buy in awhile, ugly sweater vader sounds hilarious. 3. But then that's the thing, it's a personal preference. Nobody has a problem with you hating poe. (I mean, maybe oscar isaac.). But that just means you'll like it less, not that the set is objectively bad. Some minifigure leaked, the torso and legs could be good for ahsoka from the Ahsoka's walkabout arc, though you'd have to switch out the hands.
