  1. Thanks. I wouldn’t repeat my name over and over either
  2. This is true. But, if LEGO continues to focus primarlily on Batman and Spider-Man, I simply want good sets and figures.
  3. I saw the Captain Antilles and I am ecstatic! I love the new figure and I am so hyped to get it. Whether it is in the advent calendar or a Tantive IV remake there is nothing that is going to stop me from gettting that minifigure. I am hoping that the Tantive IV rumors are true (if so, LEGO has read my mind and my comments here on Eurobricks), but I will be perfectly okay with the figure showing up in the advent calendar if that is the case.
  4. That's fair. I do agree that sets like the X-Wing and Millenium Falcon should always be represented and available almost all the time. However, there are older sets from SW that I am sure KFOLs would love to have that TFOLs and AFOLs would also appreciate seeing a re-release. Spider-Man and Batman can be good as long as LEGO delivers on really cool and creative new builds. The new wave of Spider-Man sets looks really good and there is stuff for all fans of LEGO in them. I hope the same can be said for the upcoming wave of Batman sets.
  5. My issue with SW really isn’t too much of the same thing as it really is “this line is expensive overall and the sets are not worth the money.” Now, there are certain models SW keeps producing and ignores others (SW would be in my good graces if they just released a new Tantive IV). I think SW needs to go back to products they haven’t remade in 10+ years and update them. I think then SW issue of staleness and producing the same content constantly would be resolved. I really only want the Superheroes themes to take a break if they continue in the direction they are currrently going, focusing solely on Batman and Spider-Man. If they turn it around and the lines are new and innovative with lots of different characters and builds from the DC and Marvel Universes, then there’d be no need for a break.
  6. I like the color blue, Japan and drawing too! Welcome aboard.
  7. I chose 853373 because it is from the era of Castle I am most familiar with, Kingdoms. The Chess sets are just cool ways to get lots of minifigures. I also remember trading miscellaneous minifigures with my friend to get a bunch of figures from this set several years ago.
  8. @leafanHaha, oops. I forgot, which is strange considering I was so hyped to be on the podcast. I'll be sure to make an event such as that known in the future. As to stay on topic, I think themes such as DC and Marvel shouldn't be discontinued, but could use a break and could do with a good revival in a few years. Star Wars really can't and shouldn't be cut. It has been a mainstay of LEGO now for 20 years and does pretty well (I simply have my issues with Disney's handling of Star Wars, and as an extension, LEGO Star Wars). What I say on the podcast is still mostly true to what I stand by today. Also, in regards to my claim that Star Wars is not doing so well now "Star Wars has been consistently running for 20 years, but it has never had a low point until now." admittedly, is a claim without any basis and comes more from my waning like of current Star Wars and I was putting my feelings and frustrations on the situation into a baseless claim.
  9. I got Awesome Remix Emmet, Gone Golfin’ President Business, and Vest Friend Rex yesterday, and they are all really nice minifigures. Rex is probably my favorite because I just really like the character. President Business was a must have when I first saw images of the series and he is really fun, I especially like the new golf club piece. The Emmet minifigure is not the most exciting, but I love getting new Emmet expressions. The new hairpiece is nice and I like the printed 1x2 for his phone. I hope to get more minifigures from this series in the near future. Also, have you all had an easy time feeling for characters? I managed to identify all three without difficulty.
  10. I picked 7029 The small castle/port build is cool and it’s a rather cool and unique scene in Castle that is more common in Pirates.
  11. Is there a consistent release schedule for the UCS sets? If not, is there any info on when the first one of the year will be released? I am unwisely hoping for a Tantive IV without any substantial evidence leaning towards that being the UCS set.
  12. This is such a cool MOC and a fun reimagining of the set. Nice job.
  13. I just rebuilt 70831 into the Rescue Rocket and it is so good! I love this set. Both builds are great, and the exclusive Rex Dangervest minifigure is really good. It is a creative and wacky set that I highly recommend. I have had so much fun building both builds.
  14. I am excited to see the movie, however, I am concerned about the quality. I was so hyped for TLNM when the first trailer. All of the marketing after that made it look like it was going to be great. I even claimed it could be better than TLBM. I was wrong, and I left the theater disappointed by TLNM. Personally, each LEGO movie since the first one has dropped in quality from a writing standpoint, and if the last two films are any indicators of this trend holding water, then then TLM2 might not be great. The movie is also going to be touching on a rather topical issue, which of they handle the topic poorly, it would be a further detriment to the movie. Overall, I guess I am cautiously optimistic.
  15. Nice! I am looking forward to building the rocket more than I already was now.
  16. We are allowed to talk about the sets we’ve gotten from this theme, right? I got Emmet’s Dream House/Rescue Rocket, Ultrakatty and Warrior Lucy, and Unikitty’s Sweetest Friends EVER! this weekend. Unikitty’s Sweetest Friends is fun and a pretty good value for $10. Ultrakatty is neat and I like the amount of possibility on the build, it is also a good set. Emmet’s Dream House/Rescue Rocket, while I have not built the Rescue Rocket yet, is going to be a contender for one of my favorite sets of 2019. It is so neat and fun, and the build was very enjoyable. I do think the side builds with the house are a little weak, however. Also, I did not realize the scarf piece Lucy has was a separate piece from the quiver. I had initially thought that it was a new dual molded piece. I was pleasantly surprised it was a separate piece. Also, Rex Dangervest is a really cool character and I am looking forward to seeing him in the movie.
  17. Thank you for checking it out. I’m glad you like it.
  18. This is awesome. I like the ruins and the texture of the ground. The dragon is stellar and utilized the wings from Nexo Knights really well.
  19. This is really good! I like the stone work on the house and the foliage and vegetation are really colorful.
  20. Thanks a bunch. I had a lot of fun just putting the minifigures together.
  21. Hello everyone! I have made more progress on my MOC.
  22. Oh my goodness this is so spectacular. It is the realization of what I used to think my Hogwarts Castle displays were when I was younger. I love this so much, especially the amount of details in each of the individual rooms.
  23. I would be totally down for that. Maybe Superman could even have a new face print. That’s an awesome idea.
  24. I want a Captain America with leg printing and maybe an actual helmet (either comics or MCU), PS4 Spider-Man and a Daredevil with some leg printing.
