The only person strong enough to face the might of Evil Bombur Correct Galactus dares not try eat the LEGO earth as he knows his cousin's appetite is bigger than his... Yeah, agreed on all fronts. looking at it I'm pretty sure you're right about the figure's inspiration, makes sense. Yeah, if it's made I wouldn't doubt there being references to those games

Indeed, hopefully the extended editions are kept in mind, that way we could get an affordable set of Alfrid's dirty cutscenes -

Right? Also would be funniest if it was also a character from a LEGO original theme or another CMF -

Can't be as then the Dummy wouldn't marry her (Though realistically it's a political marriage more than anything, if the Dummy even has a type it's probably something less conventional) Yeah, they have the most classic LEGO-y personality, feel like touches from a late 2000s original theme or one of the LEGO Movies -

All fair points, it's very funny in those films they spend the whole third film fighting the secret 3rd Empire and have the second empire we've been following for the previous 2 films beaten off screen. I would rather this trilogy had ended definitively than the cold war thing but tbf as we can see now there was no world where the saga ended there so I suppose it'd be more honest for it to end as you suggest and not even pretend disney will stop making these movies (or trying to , these films never come out) -

Eh, it was just the empire again. Just lacking the actual interesting story seed of showing how a Republic can easily become fascist, instead they just blow up the planet of goodies and now are in charge. But set wise while I think a lot of the builds were majorly lacking (Takodana, Kylo's first shuttle) or made way to big for what they were (we had a 90 quid X-wing by the end of the trilogy!) I think a real factor in how these sets sold was probably how big they made a lot of them, why make that TLJ Pod set 30 quid, across the board the key issue with this trilogies merch seemed to be that they thought they could get away with making so many products that were so overpriced and they'd do well for the 5 years this trilogy was being made but the nostalgia hit that carried TFA didn't last long enough -
That would be the funniest outcome, that or it turning out to be a long con by Clone Commando I don't even remember mine, just one day I made an account and now I'm here. Like I genuinely I don't remember what made me make an account or how long I lurked before. I have a lot of gaps in my memory when I think about it, probably not a good sign Oh of course. That really was the undeniable evidence that it's Turtle, the fact we got him to say he thinks Luigi's pizza is a viable DC set. If he was one of us doing it for the bit whoever did it wouldn't have had enough restraint to not mention it otherwise and no other human would casually treat that as a real set option Do they talk about the time batman fought 4 Bruce Lees there too?

Yeah, we'll never know for sure as LEGO gains nothing from telling us. Of course anecdotally there was seemingly a lot of overstock with merch for the Disney films (I saw so many Jyn Erso figures in local stores for like 6 years after that film came out, they might be used as currency after an apocalypse) but that likely wouldn't be nearly as dire if they were produced in normal quantities. I wonder how the 2020 TRoS sets sold, that was after the pre-release hype died and sequel sets pretty much fizzled out from there. I do think it's interesting to think about. I think there's always gonna be a stark division between pre and post Disney star wars and the Disney+ content mill makes so much product in a year that sets for all of those shows probably takes the slots where sequel sets would be. Or idk, maybe they're just waiting until the movies start again for cross promotion as the Rey film will probably just use sequel locations, characters and vehicles. -

Really like this line up, they all feel like a natural evolution of where the theme was in 2018, before everyone snapped. As everyone else has said I'm honoured to be invited to the second wedding (I was always gonna be invited to Dummy's, if it wasn't for the robot calling dibs I'd be the best man) Really love all the creativity in stuff like the joker builds or Cyborgs mech having a beast boy arm -

In any other theme I'd think that's a given as it's just a poorly lit grey rock with a throne on it, with Star Wars though there are multiple mid range sets which are just grey floors with desirable minifigures so this actually is a shock. I wonder if the sets for that movie (bar the falcon, obvs) didn't sell too well then. -

Do you guys think we'll get a specially moulded piece so we can have an Ohbeeone and layer in a trenchcoat? What about Jorge Lucas in the longest car you've ever seen in Harlem
