Lord of the Rings Ongoing Discussion

How the megabluck did Tolkien get away with naming a character Shagrat? -
I guess, also why are you responding to posts in the wrong topic? Is this the newest form on insanity amongst us Project Morphine? Are you going to get Corn-cob addicted to Drugs? That seems a little rude Do you think Ben 10 Omniverse plays a part into this? That'd certainly connect some dots Pen pals will be the next big thing believe you me

I doubt it'll be the Hobbit one, the quote is from fellowship -
Right? It's so weird that the Powerpuff girls reboot that both did horribly AND was launched by a backdoor pilot in TTG if I remember correctly got a wave but TTG didn't, it's backed by something massive with kids, has a bunch of vibrantly coloured characters, easy combat in a box potential tonnes of vehicles for the characters. Why wouldn't it get sets?

Unpopular Opinions about LEGO

Unpopular opinion, this is the second greatest minifigure ever made -
Thank you, but I do it not for the appreciation of them but for the honour of the Demolition Dummy. My dream is one day to see him be made readily available to the masses again so more can see his light EXACTLY! We've had access to making any DC character at our fingertips this entire time and we've been foolish with it, we should have just drawn Superman, or Kyle, or Polka dot man and we'd have had them readily available

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Renny The Spaceman replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Hopefully not, it already has so many, plus a constant stream of sets, PLUS a good chunk of the non-disney CMFs are just other disney properties. -
Thank you, I believe you are right about my next steps, it's the only logical next step. Something else we must consider, not all heads have yet swapped over to the modern vented stud mold. For example the classic smiley head still uses the blocked open stud I believe as does the smile on the white astronaut in this year's space diner, this does mean it is technically a possibility that to this day Demolition Dummy parts are in production in small numbers to replenish LEGO House stocks. I don't believe this is likely but it is possible. Even if it isn't though, in time, Dummies may be produced again with the modern vented stud once the existing stock depletes. However the likelihood of that entirely depend on how many were made in the second batch and the rate that kids steal them

No, the difference is in the head mold. Brace yourself, I am about to type perhaps the most autistic thing I ever have. Which as someone who's always been as bad at masking as I am is very much saying something The first few series of CMFs contained exclusively the blocked open head stud, as seen below This was designed to reduce choking but around the time of the first CMFs regular sets switched over to the Hollow studs that stayed as the main form of LEGO head until about a year ago CMF's were initially produced in different factories than regular minifigures so at no point in the very short production run of series 1 was there any sort of running change to the head mold used So imagine my shock when I find a Bricklink listing for this A hollow stud Dummy head, this shouldn't exist and Bricklink knows it. This piece's origin is listed as N/A on there, which makes sense, very few CMF series 1 heads have this sort of variant. Those that do, such as the Skater or Zombie, are figures who in one way or another were rereleased after the series was discontinued. I have not seen a single figure from this series who wasn't re-released have a hollow stud variant So what's the catch here? How could this piece exist? The answer is simple, the LEGO House. The greatest feature of the LEGO House in Billund is the Demolition Dummy themed room where you are supposed to build cars and crash them, in the parts bins in these sections from the House's launch to this day are a bunch of Demolition Dummies to be put in the cars. I assumed these were old stock for the longest time, and they may well be, but my current suspicion is that these figures were, in fact, produced in some small quantity to serve as fixtures to the LEGO House. Not only would it explain this piece's existence but also why there are still a good quantity of Dummies in the LEGO House in vlogs and such from the past few years. Let's be real, if these were old stock (of a single figure in a series with a very limited production run) Kid's probably would have stolen most of them in the 7 years since it opened. One small piece of anecdotal evidence for this theory is that I have in my collection and online never seen any Dummy with this newer head piece and of the 5 of these that I have seen for sale on bricklink 3 have come from Denmark, where the LEGO House is based. None of this is concrete of course but I would argue it's hard not to see this as a possibility.

The London 2012 mascot Wenlock smokes weed in an unresponsive way, I have never done a typo so that's canon and we can't do anything about it Indeed, Wenlock has been pulling the strings with all of us this entire time, no-one knows to what end, no-one knows whose side he is on between us and blacktron or if he can even be defined by good or evil but we do know he has intended for it all... Or maybe he just works at Gregg's now, I've not kept up with his career The ultimate twist would be of LEGO City is so ducked, not because of any evil plots or manipulations but just because she's chancellor of the exchequer there

Not big on the name Big dummy is canon though, it showed up in the Corn-cob arc Yes, we'll do this, we'll use the might of the British empire to make LEGO give us the Dummy mech and then we'll turn the British empire and our Dummy mechs to swing back around and colonise Britain. When we inevitably do wind up in control of it I have a simple 3 step plan to end the cost of living crisis Step 1: use the Trillions in profit from the Dummy mechs to fund British Smash Bros, it'll star all of Britain's greatest characters, Wagbo, Mr Bean, Morph, The Queen and more, everyone the world over will fall in love with Wenlock's janky hot box and we'll rake in practically infinite money Step 2: use that money to to turn Britain onto a utopia where every need is met and Mrs Brown's Boy's is illegal Step 3: Make the Demolition Dummy the mayor of Slough And with that we'll all be in paradise The LEGO Nestlé Bunny may be the most evil LEGO figure ever. Exactly, they'll be unable to beat the Dummy mech's, it's our best bet against blacktron

Exactly, it's said their limbs would pop off like the Dummies but, of course, they wouldn't be able to put themselves back together as he can Yeah, that's probably where it's going. I do need to go there at some point, throughout the house there are little animations on screens and a good few of them have the Dummy (not to mention the Dummy themed room with murals of him on the walls) but I can only find so many in the background of vlogs. I'll need to make the voyage there eventually to see them all in person, may as well kill two birds with one stone and raid there too

Right, thanks
