No, they need to interact, they're complete thematic opposites. Cole is alive but gay and Morro is dead but gives me the vibes he'd be massively homophobic

Doctor Foster went to Gloucester Alfrid is a computer ge is, why? Only Alfred knows Cool but no nesquik bunny so shit lineup mate Would be hilarious if it was actually Commando again and the reason he's not insta banned is he's trying to argue his way out without revealing it's his alt account Jesus Christ man, that's kinda intense, don't you have some line? You gotta at least concede we made a mistake in creating Doctor Who fans Wenlock and Mandeville will come in clutch, they'll use their demonic gay agenda (megablocking real conspiracy about the london 2012 mascots somehow) blasts to kill the Yankees. The alien race Mr Bean canonically comes from will be on our side, and sooty and sweep currently have every country on earth's nuclear codes as of the last season. also probably every Tolkien character counts as while their more associated with Kiwis now Tolkien wrote all his works as since he hated king Arthur he felt England lack great legends and myths like other cultures had.

The Luigi's pizza of star wars would be like the factory where they make blue milk or something, Mon Mothma's limo would be a step up in relevance from it, Luigi's pizza is a generic facade in the background of one game and but was suggested entirely based off a delivery bike with the logo in one TLBM set -

With the first part it is important to know how the factions work because it is a sequel, the Rebels won at the end of the last one and now their still rebels and the empire is still in power, it's unsatisfying and confusing and winds up undermining every film in this trilogy because why should I believe it's over this time, why won't I believe a 4th galactic empire will form by the time these characters start going grey. Right but the issue is none of those arcs are what gets focus in the films, Finn's defection happens in the first 15 minutes and from the minute his switch flipped from baddie to goodie he's willing to risk his life for his friends, the film is filled with constant characters. Rey becoming part of something bigger also isn't really something that affects her character (throughout the whole trilogy really, it's really jarring in the third when she's now a big shot resistance hero when until that film she's distinctly doing her own thing, I know in the year between films that she could have done a bunch of missions for the rebels and made all these connections but we don't see it so it doesn't really hit) her arc is clear set up as to stop looking to her past and to move on and that doesn't really go anywhere this film. Kylo develops further down the path, sure, but we didn't see it start so it feels like more of an IOU for a future development. I feel all these characters are hindered by the fact they want them to be twists so we don't get time to properly get them, Kylo being Han's son is a twist so we don't really get much set up for his insecurity before he takes his helmet off. Rey is set up pretty well but what she has of an arc ends on Takodana when she speaks to Maz and choses to go find Luke instead of going back to Jakuu, TLJ has this issue too as Rey pretty much isn't even in that third act on Crait there, and this leads to her character having a lot of dead space where the films just sorta have her fight bad guys with no emotional investment for the third act both times (I'm discounting tRoS for the trilogies benefit as they just try rush Luke's Episode 6 arc there with no set up, that's not fair to Rey to count that) Finn is supposed to just be a supporting character but they wanted to do the twist where you think they'll actually have the one black character do anything, then it turns out he's just they for the others to bounce off so the hook of his character (Child soldier who's brainwashed to fight for a cause and gets out) is pretty much forgotten and changed to him just being a silly janitor who has no moral dilemma with killing the other child soldiers as their now all comedic dumb henchmen (OT gets away with this by never telling us about how stormtroopers join, so the audience assumes they're just classic henchmen who choose to be evil for the pay. TFA makes Finn a child soldier to remove any accountability from him for being part of a fascist empire but doesn't think about the tonal dissonance that causes when for the rest of the film the Stormies are comic in nature) Of course it's all comes down to opinions but as someone who cares a lot about film as a medium and doesn't care at all for star wars as a series anymore it's very structurally messy in a way that makes it so that if it never got a sequel it would just be an empty calorie of a movie, if it works for you that's great, I'm happy for you but I'm never gonna be able to see it that way. But on the topic of bricks did you know every day before filming his scenes on this film Adam Driver would eat half a bowl of LEGO bricks? Just look up "watch Turkey Town full movie free" to find out more -
I prefer Jokerised fries Insane, he should be barred from posting here Don't see what the Morbius thing has to do with us, think you wanted that anyways and are pinning it on the aslume. But I'm the same, I've literally only ever bought DC sets from TLBM line, I've also wound up with the classic Superman and Aquaman figures somehow but I don't remember how. I'm weird though my favourite comic characters are Ben Reilly, Polka dot man and the Question, I don't know why I'm like this but I'll be honest it's unlikely I was ever gonna be tempted by most DC sets. Do it, and while your at it Dummypost in your day to day, the only way we can prevent the end of the world in 2084 is if Dummy fever sweeps the nation hard enough for LEGO to make a Dummy plish

I understood what you ment by timeline, you conveyed that clearly but I still personally don't agree. I feel surely if we expand technical to include pretty much every part of the filmmaking process then surely TFA now has the technical issues with how it's so interested in it's mystery boxes it skims over a lot of basic characterisation to the point that despite the film's inciting incident Finn being torn up seeing a stormtrooper die he, nor the film itself never shows any sympathy for these brainwashed child soldiers again. Or how poorly conveyed the first order/resistance are as factions, how the CG on Maz Kanata is nearly as distracting as the multiple times a scene will stop to show a prop from the OT being held in severance and such. Of course all of that is just my opinion but I think that if we're talking script faults TFA definitely has at least as many as ESB and I think that's evident in it not striking the same emotional core. The point of art as a concept is to tell stories that resonate and TFA isn't really much of story, everything in it is kinda just the superficial beats of a Star wars film without the emotional investment like (with how we get our fourth trench run but instead of any of the characters we care about being involved it's the kinda funny pilot guy who disappeared from most of the movie) or with how we don't really have enough context for anything that happens in the film to mean anything (We get the set up to Rey and Finn's arcs, but because they wanted to bait and switch the audience with who the real lead is we don't really get any pay off to their arcs here, that's shunted to TLJ, Luke has an arc in all three OT films but we have an entire film of characters telling Finn he needs to fight for a cause and Rey she needs to move on from her parents but they don't really change at all until the next one) it's all set up but set up can't sustain a movie, the set up has nothing to say in my opinion and doesn't really work as a film on it's own because of that. Probably just comes down to my personal perspective but I think the ultimate technical failing of any piece of art is surely not leaving an impression, the Room is gonna stick with me as it's trying to say something and how it fails to do so tells me about the failings of Tommy Wiseu. The Force Awakens tells me I should be excited for the next films but nothing else, so when I know the next films didn't do anything with the already shallow threads this one set up Or idk, maybe I'm just mad because if this film didn't popularise the fanwanky legacy sequel to Gen X properties I wouldn't be living in a world where I'm expected to be emotionally invested in the megablocking Ghostbusters -

Bingo, I think on a technical level TLJ is far an away shows the most filmmaking craft of any of the disney SW films (Not surprising, Rian Johnson has a notable leg up from Abrams or Gareth Edwards if you look at the quality of their work outside of Star Wars), even if I don't care for any of them on a story level -
I'll always wonder about this film, it had to get pretty far given how pre TLM2 flop it was planned for 2020, oh well. Concept art shows the series 1 Robot, pretty cool. It's a shame none of the Dummy's friends ever made it to the LEGO Movies

Turtle was "fine". He build Shadowboxes, evil mind create BRICKHEADZ Joker. He dies and comes back... stupid stuff. Possessed Commando? OMG... I am evil, I complain about woke. Post 20 links in 1 second fraction... stupid stuff. RiddlerDC,,,, ouch please. Redhoodpug is the thing like we all know. Nah, I'd just make every comic set be set in a Crash testing site so the Dummy could take the generic civilian slot

Yeah, it's not fun to think about it's kinda impressive the amount of different ways AI is gonna continue to make people's lives worse for the foreseeable future. I'm playing both sides, that way no matter what I come out on top Sounds fun, wonder how long this'll last They stink and I don't like them

I mean there's no technical part of filmmaking at fault there, if the film's timeline doesn't add up like someone here said that's a story issue or MAYBE an editing issue in certain circumstances, that's got nothing to do the technical competency of a film
