Perhaps let them build another MOC? I like Bonaparte's suggestion though, we'll randomly draw who becomes the king's queen of the two :-D :-P :-D
-
This is quite a cool project. Might get more kids to go to church :-D It reminds me of something I saw on CNN the other day about an artist (a catholic person) who made a Jesus statue out of chocolate. You have no idea how much I wanted to eat him. ... Oops, that came out wrong. 8-| :-$
-
Seriously if this somehow ends up in a tie again, ah there can't be two kings, can there? X-D Why of course not! How shall we solve the problem if it turns out in yet another tie?
-
Well said Mr Phes! I just knew it! the next person would vote for 007 and how did I know? Well mainly because it's too obvious 10-10 19-19 23-23 If I vote for Sly making it 24-23 it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out the next one's gonna make it 24-24 :-P :-) Though you guys probably already knew that :-$
-
The 24th vote goes to ... Sly Owl, sorry to say but felt his overall was just better. 007 did a great job of building though the story isn't his. I admire the fact though you like a certain author. People who read can rarely be bad :-) And I also took into account the "piraty" related factor. But that beach Sly Owl made, I hate landscaping in lego and would lose my patience within minutes. But this might very well end up another tie, the next guy will surely vote for 007 :-D

I digress with the persons above me as I wouldn't have a clue what "funnt" is. However if they mean "funny" I would most certainly agree, I've been thinking of modding him a bit too. And also perhaps make him a transvestite as well as a hypochondriac though that might just be pushing the envelope too far. Still, nothing beats a truely wacko, insane sig-fig. You be the judge :-)

I simply thought he was based on that one bisschop from Myra in Lycia, Turkey who was a protector of children keeping them off the streets and preventing them from going into prostitution. But as the matter of fact, Santa Claus was derived from Sinterklaas. Dutch settlers in America kept on celebrating it and of course, people who speak English tend to pronounce words in a different laguage horribly so Sinterklaas became "Santa Claus" So we get two christmasses a year, X-D :-P

Ok since the APC failed horribly, so bad I started crying and immediately locked it away forever (obviously being sarcastic >:-) ) and seeing as Green Hair is pushing me to build a Pirate MOC I've just started building on a small brig. :-)

Shouldn't the Ladies of EB have their vote in this too? >:-)

Seeing as there's a monument for WWI just 50 metres down the street from where I live I proceeded to watch the annual remembrance parade. Gosh It takes me back to all those family excursions we used to do then. Whatever happened to those? :'-( Of course I do too remember the lives lost in WWI :-(

Three VERY important things I learnt today.
Opproperaar replied to Doctor Sinister's topic in Community
I just can't seem to decide which of these two I find the funniest. Of course when all this happens to you in the same day I guess you're kinda mad but it's funny as hell from where I'm standing. :-D :-D -
Miss Legoland Pageant (The Final Round)
Opproperaar replied to Athos's topic in General LEGO Discussion
LOL, apparently a lot of people have the hots for teh castle woman. Meh? Who am I to judge? GO Castle!!! :-D -
LOL, ok then, just so you know Sinterklaas is based on Nicolaas of Mra from Turkey. So in that case it bears little resemblance to Christmas. I just went on wikipedia to read where people celebrate it. Apparently it's typical to Belgium and the Netherlands. And to a lesser extent it's celebrated in Luxemburg, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, France, Poland, Chechya and Slovenia. No other countries Ain't that neat? X-D *y* Gosh I love that old man on his white horse
-
Why? indeed it may not have had any historical value to those countries but then again, why were Scottish castles dissassembled brought to the US and rebuilt there? The simple answer to why is: BECAUSE IT'S INTERNATIONAL HERITAGE. If the coloseum would have to make way for a shopping mall for instance, there would be a lot more people than just Italians protseting against it. And why? Not because it's related to their own history, but BECAUSE IT'S INTERNATIONAL HISTORICAL HERITAGE. Something which humanity can look back on I'm not trying to sound aggressive here, just trying to get the point across.

The Person Above Me is a fan of the Boston Red Sox Since the only sport I so much as a little care about is socker (which IMHO ought to be called football) I am quite indifferent about this. Sports debate ON! *y*

Member Titles - Questions and Answers
Opproperaar replied to languages's topic in Forum Information and Help
Some of the titles people here have to live with are IMO very witty. One that cracks me up is Miss Piggy Sex Fantasy which would belong to UB if my eyes and that late night in front of the PC didn't deceive me. :-| -
LIBRARY: Pirate Torso/Decal/Sticker Designs
Opproperaar replied to Bonaparte's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I asked sir Phred in a PM :-D Why he provided me with the most economic and simple of solutions. I simply select the torsos I want, put the in a word file and resize them. After which I simply print them out and attach them to my MFs with the use of some gluestick. (is that the correct word for something like Pritt? :-) ) -
The person above me has succeeded as much as twice now in making me laugh endlessly in this thread! LOL

We actually saw this this week in geography. The cool thing is, seeing as the Earth rotates around the poles (with the poles being the one place where you don't move at all and the equator being the one where you move fastest) we were able to calculate the speed at which you move when you're standing at the equator. 1,666 km an hour. Fast no?

the people above are having a debate about whether or not Andy_0306uk's typing skills or his mathematics skills are to blame. :-P I blame both :-)

The Many Adventures of the Whacker and the Walrus issue #4
Opproperaar replied to Hinckley's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Sadly cause it's midday and gotta run off for school now I can't give a more through response. In any case, I loved the length of it. So much joy, for so long. Poor Hinckley though, I'm starting to feel bad for him while I actually shouldn't. The walrus is so cute, as is copmike, but they deserve a whacking :-P Coming to egg him. Hope he wins for a change :-D Can't wait for the Christmas issue as I just adore that period of the year. ;-) -
The person above me, bewildered as he may be, has stated a statement in which he implies that the person above him is in the state of being mentally bewildered at the sight of a person who theoretically has double-posted yet hasn't quiote done so in practice. The wacko head at the end of the person above me's statement implies that he himself is in fact confused and quite dazzled as well.

Well no, but they could've sold it to a country like Sweden or the US, one of those few countries which hadn't been attacked and didn't have such huge costs in the rebuilding. Or perhaps decide to put the ship in a drydock and guard it for a couple of a years without doing maintenance. After the rebuild they could focus again on it. No matter the cost, it wouldn't justify sinking he ship. With a bit of creativity they could've come up with a solution. :'-(
