The person above me has solemnly stated a statement about the statement of the person above him. The statement which he (the person above me) stated something about is a statement which was stated after a statement of myself in which, at the time, I was trying to confuse and embarrass the person above me who is now the person above the person above me and who has stated in an official statement that I have a superiour mind which I concur with in the following statement. I, for one, second that motion. (the motion being the statement in which it was stated I have a superiour mind):-P Eat that!

Well that's the same thing all over the world now isn't it? In Belgium you have government operated channels (which usually bring he best mix of humour/relaxation/educative) and commercial channels. The commercial ones of course have to be competitive as they get their income from commercials and shows, not from the government. Their news is usually of lower quality than the government's. Now you can ask: "But hey, those government channels are probably not that objective all together as they're government operated." I admit that most employees of the VRT (that's how it's called) used to be mostly left wingers though that was their own choice and had nothing to do with what they showed on TV. Nowadays, that left wing has decreased dramatically and the channel boasts employees from all parts of the political spectrum. Furthermore, the VRT has always invited people from both the extreme left as well as the extreme right and everything in between to come and explain what they had to say. (we have way more political parties than in the U.S. :-) ) The VRT has always been critical towards politicians asking every one of them difficult questions as well as of course easy ones too. They won't hesitate in bringing criticism in their news reports. Sadly the channel has in my opinion made mistakes too. There's one whihc is quite long to type here, but I can definitely tell you they sometimes make mistakes as well. It's our job as the viewer to be critical of what we see and hear. If you only have access to two very extreme news channels perhaps listening to both of themand consulting a third, reliable source, on the internet will get you a long way. It sure does for me. Takes up a lot of time though, checking four to six different news sources every day.

Don't worry Nadroj, I am suspicious towards all media, and especially look down upon anything owned and operated by Murdoch, I despise FOX too and actually all other media, tough there are means of rooting out the truth, or at least, nearly as much of the truth as is possible. :-P Falls down to the floor gasping for life, can't breath! Must have LE... G...OOO! Well, first, the direction (to all non Dutch, Belgian people, a direction is best described as a certain package of classes which you take in secondary school ;-) ) I take in school is Humane Science with two classes such as Behavioral Science and Cultural Science. Quite the coincidence as the matter of fact cause our first semester this year revolves around nothing but media. Though I knew from way before this year that you can't trust everything they say on TV. ;-) Well said snefroe, it would indeed be better to encourage the kiddies to solve this problem amongst themselves instead of imposing Sovjet Era restrictions on the children their creativity. That's what LEGO is all about, encouraging and helping children to improve their creativity, imagination, have fun while doing so, and when playing with other kids, learning to work together. If you do something as this, well, no wonder you're taking away the fun.

The person above the person above me claims that the person above him, who is coincidentally also the person above me, is a communist, which in turn confuses the person above me as to why he'd say such a thing. This post by myself nonetheless, has in turn confused me. (?!?) Why am I here? 8-|

Our dog and four cats, though the cats'd be so terrified by seeing me running after them trying to grab them, that they'd just run away from me and make me lose all of my ten minutes on the damn pets alone. *wacko* They love making my life hard. :-P Other than that, the big boxes of LEGO, our very big comic book collection (we have a lot lot lot of comic books), the most precious books I can think of, my airsoft gear, the xbox 360 X-D and games (just cause it cost me

Contests & MOC challenge subforum
Opproperaar replied to Chuck's topic in Forum Information and Help
What annoys me when I'm checking the progress on a couple of contests which are being held at the same time (obviously) is that I have to switch forums constantly. For example, when I'd like to see if there's anything new in the Pirate Halloween contest and the Eurobricks neighbourhood contest I'd have to switch between the Lego Pirates forum and the LEGO trains and town forum. Obviously, when you get a lot of contests, like let's say right now, there are about five or so, I lost count *wacko* , it (at least on my behalf) gets annoying to be switching constantly. So yes, in that respect, I'd like a new forum for all the contests of past and present to be stored in, The Eurobricks contest forum or something. In this forum everybody could go to take a look at all the present contests and take a look at those contests already expired for the sheer fun of it. It might make things easier, no? that's just my view on the matter. :-$ -
Brickarms Bipod Mock-ups
Opproperaar replied to the enigma that is badger's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Seriously, kudos to Will Chapman for being such a great, arms loving, LEGO loving guy, and kudos to you for telling us about them. I could look at them all day. *wub* *wub* Superb work, really *y* -
Brickshelf FIND: Reuse of juniorized airplane parts
Opproperaar replied to natelite's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
A very nice MOC, it looks like the extravagant invention of a wealthy baron who spends his days reading books and putting the theories he reads and comes up with himself to the test. Like in the early days of flight pioneering. *y* And since I love anything that's adventurer, explorer related, I love this too. *y* Very clever to use the airframe the way you did. -
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA :-D :-D Look at them work, look at them slave :-) there's Bonaparte, and Mr Tiber and oh Norrington and mr Phes so funny to see them working on the capstan, all that's missing is a guy with a whip, though back in those days, they rather encouraged crew members by playing jolly, cheery tunes on the violin. Now that I'm temporarily not childish, will the all-mighty Bonaparte and Mr Tiber forgive me please? Anyway, nice going, I'm very much enjoying the progress thread on your Constitution *y* *sweet*

I like ( *wub* :-$ ) the person above me and am trying to get him to be embarassed. This seemed to me the best way of making him so :-P

I'm sure you'll like it here, most people tend to do so :-P

Ideas for other Lego "Super Sets" like 10184 Town Plan
Opproperaar replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Town
Imagine that, a LEGO town dying out, those poor brick bastards, LEGO seriously prefers its towns to be populated by nothing but sturdy men, is there some kind of hidden message behind this? 8-| But yes, I do mean Paradisa sets, the name escaped me there :-P , anyway, since everybody's been complaining, and I just happen to have a beauty-parlour in my street, I thought that it might just make a great set for all those frustrated AFOLs out there. couple of other ideas btw, - an animal shelter - financial building or a national bank - cyber caf -
LOL, I can see you ending up playing with the LEGO yourself and beating up any child who tries to take the falcon from you. The next day in the news "LEGO was banned from the school after the class, and I quote, started to resemble a fascist dictatorship with the teacher reigning supreme over the children. End quote." :-D :-D

All lego figs are equal, but some are more equal than others. :-P

The person above me (whose plan I so cleverly foiled :-P ) has not been replied to in the last six days.

Ideas for other Lego "Super Sets" like 10184 Town Plan
Opproperaar replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Town
Believe me, I'd buy that one for sure, but it's against TLC non violence policy. It's screwed over as apparently knights can kill each other, people can go to Mars to slaughter innocent aliens, but communism vs capitalism would clash too much with creating kid friendly toys. Which sucks for AFOLs :-( But for my idea =>, I've got a wicked idea, at least I think, :-/ in my street there's a beauty-parlour, so why not have your very own beauty-parlour in your LEGO City? It could be a girl LEGO set and for the AFOLs it'd be an excellent supply of female LEGO minifigs. Cause I can assure you, so far, I haven't seen a single dude over there, just females :-P :-P The set could include, two old gossiping ladies, two attractive female employees, one girl with mom and some random woman :-P a car parked outside and a let's say three story building with attic? -
School goes communist after kids claim ownership of 'EVIL' Legos. :-$ The birth of capitalism lies in Denmark where an evil conspiracy was first thought of to convert the entire globe to the evil ways of private ownership by means of lego, the intrument of the devil. >:-) Didn't they learn anything from Animal Farm? I'm surprised this happens in America, of all places, perhaps some old ex-Sovjet school, but not America? This is just too funny, it's the most normal thing in the world, kids fighting over toys, Americans seriously do lack perspective, no offense :-P

They look very nice indeed, though I don't like the flag, it resembles the classic clich

Wow, there's somebody else out there with the same problem, trying to find a sigfig yet not having a clue as to what. One thing I do know for certain, mine's going to be pirate inspired, though I seriously still do not have a clue which one to pick/make :-( Hope you find yours, dude *y*
