  1. If it's about realism, than I would not just throw my rhino and tower against the walls. First step of such a siege would be to fill the trench and build coverings for archers and infantry. That's how sieges work. Ditches are no guarantee for successful defense, so teaches us history. Though I voted for Bregir, too, I find it hard to tell if some counters are successful or not. As I tried to show, and the comments here show, it's pretty up to the imagination of the voters. And I guess that's the whole 'who won' question in a nut shell. Even if a counter could be successful against the GA, that does not mean that it has to. It's up to the people who vote. Therefore Ska makes these polls. And I know, Eastgate is a gorgeous and old city and it would bother people who created the lore behind it, if a single siege tower or whatever would be enough to sack the whole city. But this is a game, and we have to make compromises between storytelling and gameplay. If a city is so strong that not a million soldiers could sack it, it shouldn't be on the warmap. Or at least off limits for guerilla attacks and decleared as warzone from the very beginning. Or there could have been special conditions. For example there has to be at least a dozen siege engines to attack the city. Believe me, I would have built them If required.
  2. Like the pit. You start to like rhyming, don't you?
  3. I guess the hippocampus is like UFOs. You have to believe.
  4. We humbly thank you, great cartographer! It seems that Lord Vladivus prefers not to unveil the certain position of Shadowmere.
  5. Wow, thank you all so much for the whole commendation I'm glad you like the story. Thank you! Every fantasy world should have their rats. Thanks!. I'm glad at least once my character can wear a hat in some way. Wasn't your name Gal-Turok? There is nothing to worry, the rats will never again settle down in the Rakath. And we should stick together, I mean, goblins are in some way just like us rats, without tail of course. Wow, I guess these are the highest compliments one can receive here I'm really glad you like the rats. The thing is, I had chosen them simply because I wanted to keep my "Bothan" sig fig. And rats were the obvious choice of race. Though I never heard of "Skaven" and such, I was of course aware that there are already rat like races in many fantasy worlds, it's just too evident. Thank you so much ME I'm happy how they fit in Nocturnus. In fact, I planned to join the guild long before I came up with the rats. It seems that Nocturnus needs expansion and support the most, so I'm honoured to add a whole people to our wonderful guild. Nah, I'm no king anymore. You can read that in the upcoming continuation. It's just Lord Osric, or simply Osric.
  6. Best wall: Emma, because of the angled wall and the ornaments
  7. For our decisive and overwhelming victory in warzone 5, we decided that we'd like to claim H14.
  8. I guess it's legal to change the size restriction from 32x32 to 48x16 or whatever?
  9. Amazing head! It looks so organic. Wonderful work on the whole body. Great parts use over and over!
  10. Really like how the hand and cheese slope piece are used for holding up stuff. Great rock work also.
  11. Great statue! The windscreens are really a perfect depiction of magical effects.
  12. Great wall with studs on the ground! And the golden dome totally matches what I have seen of Queenscross so far.
  13. I need these mounts the most! The desert king could finally start to support his vasalls. The road sign is a nice detail.
  14. Well it was not ment entirely serious. Though I think it would be a fun mini challenge to build a serious small fortification and would be totally logic in a war, I know there have been a lot of towers in the history of GoH. But really, it doesn't have to be a tower. It's just the idea of making a small building on a few studs base instead of fighting minifigs. There could be specific conditions, e.g. it must be an entirely wooden building.
  15. Amazing floor indeed! Really love the look.
  16. What about good ol' watch tower building?
  17. Aren't we kids who look like adults who are playing with highly sophisticated construction elements who were originally meant to be kids toys?
  18. Nice try. But I doubt your defenses are rhino-proved!
  19. Great idea! The water turned out really well, also the blood effect. It's nice to see at least one battle without participation of Desert King Forces
  20. Congrats also from the rats! Damn I wish I had joined earlier!
  21. Ok guys, what exactly is a runk? It looks dangerous though. Glad to have it on our side. Sadly the saugage is burnt.
  22. Damn Error or not; you are doomed.
  23. WertPah!! Ridiculous! The righteous place for Ulandus is beneath the whales.
  24. Things are getting more complicated all the time. This will certainly be an epic battle and I appreciate the fact that it is about claiming so many squares.
  25. Ah ok then I'm totally fine with her choice for the next warzone. I did not think about a choice because I didn't imagine to make the first place
