  1. Tremendous walls! I like how the display is framed with it. The gate is also fantastically built. If it had fitted on 16x32, I would have lent you my war rhino for ramming the gate
  2. One question about the spiritual importance that must be depicted: you wrote that the place must be important to the combatants, right? Not only a holy place of the elves.
  3. The Salamanders still enjoy the large supplies stored in the countless cellars of Northwall. But soon enough they will have vermin in their storage rooms. Keep on munching, little soldier. There's nothing to worry about...
  4. Great wall! I'm surprised how well tan and gray are going together. Definitely a good solution or showing the mixed Kaliphlin/Avalonian architecture of the city. I'm also a huge fan of your irregular bases. Ulandus seems to have a good stand in this battle. At least our Nocturnian troops!
  5. That's smart! Also I feel sorry for my fellow rodents. Why is everyone hating rats so hard?
  6. That's a smart counter. And 4x4 is definitely tough to build.
  7. Wonderful platform! I'm really excited about your phhase III
  8. Great wall! The rounded shape is a nice touch.
  9. You've done a great job on the wall. I like the use of those torsos a lot. And the ports for the crossbows are also a great job. This will definitely be a hard battle.
  10. That sounds so familiar Well, I see your point. But I can hardly imagine a Guerilla action that could influence such an area. Especially because it seemed at the beginning of the challenge that GAs were supposed to be mainly small and sneaky, depicting a smart idea to disturb the enemy. About the number of builds I want to say that imho quality doesn't really suffer because of the quantity. Of course it makes a difference if someone optimizes his entry over two months or has to finish it within a week or two. But everyone is doing his/her best on their builds. And many of those builders who popped out about three mocs per week are not TFOLs who come to bricks right after school. Spoken for me, I'm just overeager right now because GoH is all new and exciting to me and I wanted to show vigor by giving the maximum for my team. And it was very hard to come up with stuff every few days (maybe it's one's opinion that the result is low quality, but I swear I give my best). Man things were over night stuff and I definitely can't keep up that marathon. The thing that I really wish is that we all come to one point were the majority of community can enjoy this new kind of challenge because it is really awesome and imo adds a lot to the whole contest. I simply love all these minichallenges which bring us to every corner of Kaliphlin. And Ska always comes up with creative contents for these which are totally not simply depicting battles or kicking eachothers heads in. Therefore I think that also players who are not into warbuilds can enjoy the warzones. A main reason for me to make maximum use of the GA aspect was that I thought expanding the team's territory through warzones would be too slow. I don't know how to continue with GAs, but maybe it would be an idea to make some quick warzones worth only one square, and some larger wzs worth three or four squares, at the same time giving the people and expanded due date. That would guarantee that strong builders with less time can concentrate on important WZs, while other (also talented of course) builders can concentrate on the small competitions.
  11. Gosh! What a torture you let your own character going through! I hope you are strong enough for this. The machine is instantly recognizable. Good work!
  12. Haha, the snout makes the beast instantly recognizable. I think a mole is a great addition to our forces.
  13. Wonderful scene! The colour combination is great, also the figs. And the swqmps work perfect. Not to forget the base.
  14. Wonderful beast! I love the head. And that micro city is fantastic.
  15. I'm glad I have no mummies in my army! Neat little sand castle. And the sand effect is top.
  16. Those Ulandians! Tss Love the smoke effect.
  17. It's wonderful what you are creating with those few parts.
  18. Wonderful city. Love the pyramid.
  19. And I thought cat C was only important for main story (who will rule) and the other categories were for individual winners.
  20. Finally someone who hasn't seen the Lego Movie? Everyone can be a master builder :) I tried to start with something positive. I'm sorry, but all this whining about nobody could beat some serious builders is just embarrassing. Of course you can counter them! Where's the problem? Just try instead of giving up. Ska talked about others not having fun because of the DK's win series. My fun is spoiled by people who give up right at the beginning of the challenge only because the think they have no chance. I could understand if someone was afraid of players with large collection. But just saying 'oh gosh their entries are so super duper that's unfair I give up' only shows the total absence of sportsmanship. And what you wrote about wasting time- if it is your serious opinion that trying to create a better moc than others is wasting time, please give your bricks to some kids on the street who surely will have more fun with it. I could also say 'oh man why is that builder participating at this contest? Hasn't he already won enough I give up'. If everyone would think so, it would be a very, very poor community here.
  21. Oh no! Not worms again! I like the way you built the holes in the ground. And the wall is really great work, too.
  22. Welcome, merchant. Brave enough to join this guild on the edge of war.
  23. I voted for Ulandus, mainly because of their sand techniques. Ska, there's no voting question for "best sand". Maybe it went lost about all the DK too strong discussion. I was so excited about giving away sand awards. Bet sand for me is KaiNRG's entry. I like the smooth areas in it.
  24. Before participating at the discussion I want to make clear that my opinion would of course not change if the leading team at the moment was not our own. It's definitely not because of the rules, or the strength of a special team that DK is in a lead position right now. As I wrote earlier, before the game started I was thinking HC would be by far the strongest party. They have not only the most players, but also some of those who came up with the largest Kaliphlin builds. It's just luck that our team is the most active at the moment. But that can always change. What would you do, if let's say in three weeks only two DK players are active. Would you try to slow down the other factions? A game isn't fair only because all teams are on the same level all the time. What would be the result of such a politics? Every team winning warzones rotatory? And at the end of war all teams having the same number of squares? You can't keep a game thrilling or the odds open by regulating one team. Either the other teams are able to catch up or they lose. The rules you made are definitely fair, Ska. There's no need for big changes. I agree, that all teams should have a similar number of players. But the current situation has shown that this is no guarantee for similar chances to win. Ulandus is more successful at the moment with a few active players than HC with many inactive. It should be clear that you cannot blame an active team for the inactivity of their opponents. Would you ask a sports team to stop running because the players of the opponent team have temporarily left the pitch? (ok after typing that I realized the referee would probably make a break. But I hope the point is clear.)
