[WZ11:C4, Desert King] The Wanderer's Grave
Jacob Nion replied to Jacob Nion's topic in Guilds of Historica
Thanks, Captain Braunsfeld! To be honest, the torso and legs aren't attached The legs are fixed to the bough and the torso sits on it. -

This is a great and funny guerilla, U-M. Really good choice of faces. And the small base makes it difficult to counter. Nice work! -

Dang that's some badass posing! Love that first shot! Your black knight is cool stuff, totally fell in love when I saw him first time. The only thing I can say here is Hail Nocturnus!

Osric has established a small camp, with the oil road in its centre. This move seems to annoy a company of exhausted High Council soldiers, who were hoping to reach the nearest oasis by travelling on the road. OoC: Four builds in one week. Damn I need a break.

[WZ13:F12, Desert King] Katoren Ambush
Jacob Nion replied to Jacob Nion's topic in Guilds of Historica
Thanks everyone! So to say. The only historical example of such a vehicle I've found was the so called hussite war wagon. -
Beautiful garden! I love how it's framed by the water. And all the plants are in perfect position. The floor is the real highlight though.
-
Great use and posing of the knight's kngdom figure. Really impressive temple.

The ambush: The war wagon: Nothing too special here, I just tried to put everything in that was required. Blood, mobile fortification and combat. And that's bloody difficult on 16x32! And irregular base of course.

[WZ7: E8, Desert King] The Battle for Queenscross
Jacob Nion replied to MassEditor's topic in Guilds of Historica
The architecture of the well is just wonderful. But the most I love about your entry is the base. I love how it raises up to a small hill and highlight the building in it's center. Great work.- 20 replies

Ha that's awesome! Wonderful work! Sophisticated rancors- never thought about that!

Nice vignette. But I have to remind that Guerilla attacks are not supposed to be direct battles. While here we have the mine as logical target for GA, I found your last attack was slightly overstepping the mark. These are high quality builds though.

Fantastic tower. I love these detailed rooms. I would like to see a better picture of the creature. Is that an eye on it? Looks great as far as I can tell.

Silence surrounded by shadows. That was what came to Osric's mind when he arrived at the Necropolis. It was located near the walls of Queenscross, in the rock of Jackal's teeth. Carved in it's stone, the Necropolis was tightly packed with tombs and mausoleums and monuments. Thousands of rich Kaliphlinite lords and merchants and noble men over thousands of years had built tremendous memorials of their mortal existence. Marble, obsidian and granite had been brought from every corner of the guild, and many a rich man had wasted his long live earned gold on his grave, only for the hope of being remembered. Today, not many visitors of Queenscross came through the Necropolis and most of the great and noble names on the tombstones were forgotten. It was a perfect place to draw closer to the city's walls without being detected. But it was also a perfect hideout for an ambush...
