  1. That is a nice front. Really like the use of these 1x1 roundtiles.
  2. Thanks everyone very, very much! I'm glad you did enjoy the story. And I shall not forget to say thank you to robuko, who was kind enough to edit the poem. I know what you mean. But if the rockwork was on the inside, you couldn't see it ;) I thought it would make the frame more interesting to put the rocks on the outside.
  3. triple leg up. That's why one of them had to stay on the ground. Neat tower. Maybe a roof would have been a good deal against burning sun. But I know Ulandians are tough guys
  4. Guerilla against Ulandus on O16 I forgot to write the name in the title. Ska, could you please add it? It should be Divination of Ulandus Thanks!
  5. Roaring thunder took the men out of their dreams. For centuries, the southern coast had not seen a storm, so the people of Ulandus were certain to be blessed by higher forces. Never had their bold and brave sailors felt fear of the sea. And always had their ships returned savely. But on this evening the sky seemed to be swallowed by entire darkness. No darkness like it is on the edge of night and which only results from the absence of light; this darkness filled out every corner it reached. It crawled across the horizon, eating star after star. Some peasants who were not frozen in fear ran out of their huts, down to the shore but stopped soon. Something prevented them from drawing closer to the water. A sense of mightiness that was not to understand. An impression of something sublime filled out their thoughts. Something...divine? The troubled water was beating the cliff that it sounded like a deafening drum. Was there a rythm in it? An unknowable mind in the mindless chaos? The winds were moaning. The men could not tell from which direction they came. It seemed that every quarter of the world had conspired against them and had now sent their heralds to declair war. The thunder died immediately. The drums slowed down; not so the hearts of the crowded men. Something drawed their attention to the sea. The moaning of the wind became a whisper. It now came from the south. And then, the creature arose from the sea, arose at command of an ancient will. When the drums died, it brayed, and it's call was splitting their ears. The bloodcurdling voice of the beast forced the feared men on their knees. The harbinger of fate had arrived. A voice called for attention now, like no earthen voice could be. It was not the moaning of the wind, nor the beating of the waves. It chimed in the men's hearts. It was slight and powerful at the same time, silent but unmistakeable, like one's thoughts sound without speaking them out. And so the voice spoke: Ulandus, Ulandus Beware the sea! Do not forget What thy fate may be In days of old, the tale foretold the vengeance of the sea Do not forget, what you do yet will change your history Shore shall be flooded And drowned again And Kaliphlin cleansed Of impious men These words were never to forget. And the men who had whitnessed the arrival of the harbinger returned to their places. A new feel had grown in their hearts: doubt. What were their great cities against the sea? How could their glorious armies fight divination? And how could their anointed first centurion have dared to declair war to a sublime mightiness? Like an isle their centuries old history seemed to swim in the sea of immemorial ages, slowly fading, and then- Drowning? Ooc: the mythical beast is meant to be a Hippocampus. About the story: I really wanted to make something that shows the Desert King is not just a resurrected mumy. He is not like a mortal lord who claims land and calls it his own by law. He really rules the land and everything that is living on it. And so the southern sea. He indeed is Kaliphlin. You mortal people supporting the High Council and Ulandus should start to accept that. He is no despote, he is your righteous king!
  6. Whatcould be more interesting than installing a new king in Kaliphlin? :P
  7. Great! So do I. :P Ulandus shall be drowned again Thou shall see!
  8. Wz 3 had only a fistful of entries till last friday either. They all came on the last two days. So don't worry.
  9. Counter against KaiNRG on B8
  10. As I said we welcome you. Domination can change from week to week, it's unlikely that all players who are making much effort at the moment can hold out three month without taking a break. It could always be that suddenly most of the DK players are inactive and HC gains domination. Or both DK and HC and Ulandus finally starts kicking our butts.
  11. Hahaha! What a brilliant idea! Damn I knew I better had those pigs roasted! Nonetheless I would not mind being freed from that horrible giant. Providing aliment is getting more and more expensive.
  12. Thanks everyone very much for commenting and the kind words! An of course for aproving it! Ten points to Gryffindor! Thanks for that rare honour! Go ahead to use it! I really wonder why so few people are using that Heroica blade. It's a damn cool piece for making weapons. Hope so! Thanks! Well, I'm not sure how you mean that. It's not supposed to be a sword, it's a lance, so if it looks like a spear that would mean it works But everybody has his preferences. something like that
  13. Hey! That's not true. Even Ulandus seems to be successful at the moment. At least more successful than HC :P
  14. Oh boy that is brilliant! That's how to show that there are two souls living in one's chest.
  15. Wonderful scene! I love how well the tiles work as bricks. It really looks like the walls were built from separate pieces of them.
  16. Counter against KaiNRG's wonderful guerilla When Ageven himself invites to a jousting in the desert, Osric shall not reject! While Mitgardian shag bulls are having a hard time to deal with the heat of Kaliphlin's deserts, Nocturnian cavalry boars adapt to every new environment easily. Ten points to Gryffindor if somebody can tell what piece I used for the snout That was a fun challenge Kai! Thanks!
  17. Awesome rounded sewers! It's maybe a bit much blood for one gzy but the effect is great.
  18. The fire ball is simply amazing. Love how you showed that the battle field near a volcano isn't a play ground.
  19. One of the best wz3 entries! I lovve the jungle feeling
  20. One of the best wz3 entries! I lovve the jungle feeling
  21. Once again thank you all for the commendation! I'm really sorry that I didn't provide better pics. But this was another over-the-night-build and you lower your standard far too easy when you just want to go to bed. I have tan hands but sadly not enough. I also think it looks bad but I thought it would bs hard enough for Ulandus to counter
  22. Wow, thank you all very much for your kind words! I did not expect it would be so popular. The build was kind of a compromise solution. I had no idea what to build and just started with the rock, rest came little by little. And I built it from 1:00 to 3:00 in the night and was really sick of it.
