I wonder if the new spectre and basher leg pieces will replace the cute iconic ghost of the old times. -

Special collection up for potential sale

An impressive army. Surely it is hundreds of Euros worth. If you're willing to sell individual parts, I would pay 18 Euro for the 6 armored pants. Shipping to Germany I would pay extra. -

It would be great if the dragon wings were available in gray to go with the upcoming gargoyle. -

I guess the BW staff knows all that very well - and still has decided to create their own stuff for very good reasons. -

Also the BF viking helmet leaves the back of the head completely bare, which makes your fig look like a skinhead. Future products might want to avoid that. -

As long as we're collecting ideas: How about a feather part that one can slip over any spear and turn it into a giant arrow for balistas etc.. -
Wow. I imagine this could make nice trees as well!

Thanks! It can damage the wings though if you clip on hands like that.- 15 replies

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 14 Rumors and Discussion

Hmm, the Gargoyle is great, but it will need normal legs and bigger wings, custom if necessary. -
Thanks. I guess I did not express myself clearly and rephrased my initial posting: I am looking for building techniques and examples which look good and work well.

Hi, I was wondering: Is there a commonly used method to display flying units? I am sure there are many ways with transparent bricks and antennae, which of these have proven their functionality? The background is that I will receive a bunch of giant eagles soon. Any advice would be appreciated.

Nice stuff! I love the daggers. -
Hi, recently I thought about how best to find parts in my unsorted boxes. I seem to have different "modes" in my head for going through a box, some of which work better than others: 1. Looking for one single part I need This one works pretty well, but it is not effective. I have the part I need in my head and I go through the boxes and at some point I recognise the part between all the others. The only way to optimise this is to look for small parts at the bottom and for big ones at the top. 2. Looking for many specific parts I need at the same time without foregrounding very important ones. When I do this, I scan through a box and hope to find every now and then a part I need somewhere, one of say 15 different ones. I cannot, however, do this and focus special parts at the same time. The parts I need only seem to be semi-conscious in my head. I tend to miss many parts if I do this. 3. Looking for more than one specific part at the time This is very hard, almost impossible for me. If I look for say green arms and dark gray spears at the same time, I shift between the two, but I cannot focus on both. 4. Looking for every part a not yet existing MOC might need When I have a general idea on what to built next, I collect parts from the box that I might or might not use. 5. General looking at parts, waiting for inspiration. This is going through a box and more looking at as opposed to looking for. It soothes me. What are your modes? Which ones can you do best? Which ones exclude each other?

I saw clone LOTR sets in Thailand. For a minute I thought about buying a lot of them to get many wargs, but then I felt it was not right. However, I would buy clones if they provide stuff that TLG does not. For example I am thinking about buying some kreo horses, because they are taller. -
Nice Tunnelermite, good choice of colors, disgusting crawly legs, soulless yet intelligent eyes and nice scaly smooth body!

Ha! You lucky... person! Just what we talked about! I spot 9. I guess you need 200! Let us hope for more sets or PAB walls...
