Hi Barahir1401, that looks really good and I actually prefer your version of the cockpit to the original one! I hope you don't mind but I've deep-linked one of the photos in your post so that everyone can see how good it looks You've done well to build it for €100. Cheers, Robin

Please can we stay on target, thanks! I don't think that this sort of post is really relevant to a Star Wars LEGO forum

Thanks Hulk_Smash, that's interesting news Although it's a shame that Lando is missing, at least we're finally getting a Cloud City-based set! I'd be surprised if they use the current version of Boba Fett from the UCS Slave 1, as it's clearly one of the main selling points of it, but it would be good if they do. Hopefully this is a sign that there's others in the pipeline - it does seem odd that they'd do a 'standalone' set, although I thought that when I first saw 9678

Well, to be honest I wasn't expecting that and I'm surprised that they haven't taken the catalogue down yet! I think it's fair to say that the cat is well and truly out of the bag, so perhaps they've just given up... And, please can we keep this thread focused on the actual sets rather than the cost of them! I do appreciate that the differences between countries can seem rather 'odd' but it's just something that we've got to live with

Hi Jerome, the Eurobricks guidelines state (link): Selling, self promotion and promoting: New members are not allowed to sell/trade on this site, but we do allow long term members to do so in the Buy/Sell/Trade/Finds forum; be sure to read the rules to this forum before posting there. We occasionally allow exclusions to this rule but you need to contact the staff first. We NEVER allow the personal message system to be used to spam or contact members to make sales offers. In addition, you can't use the PM system until you have made 10 posts.

Hi Kevin W, and welcome to Eurobricks! This is a truly amazing build, it's just a shame about the ewoks! It was really interesting to see the WIP photos when BEAVeR blogged it back in July, and I don't doubt that it's taken you 6 months to build it. Both the dish and landing platform are stunning and create a perfect backdrop for the UCS Shuttle. I'm also really impressed how you managed to create such a circular dish, considering that it's LEGO! Have you got any plans to expand it? My only suggestion would be to add some additional bulk to the trees, as they look a little undersized compared to those in the film Cheers, Robin

The new polybag looks amazing, I've got to get one of those so I'm hoping that it will be available in the UK. I don't know what it is about protocol droids, but I can't get enough of them! And, yes, it isn't ideal about the current limitations that have been enforced but we've all had the chance to see the sets, so it's not the end of the world, especially when we've got a nice shiny polybag to look forward to!

Complete with instructions start at £50 on Bricklink (here). Obviously, a lot depends on the condition as well! -

Hi Raj_UK As mentioned above there's a list of parts list available for 10030 on Bricklink (link). This includes all of the part refs, so you should be able to work it out from there. However, there are several parts that aren't available via LEGO, so you may have to locate them via Bricklink anyway! For future reference there's a general Q&A pinned to the top of the forum; I'll merge this thread with it in a bit -
I'm glad that I'm not alone with my slight 'obsession'....! The thought has crossed my mind a couple of times
-
That's not a good thought, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was correct I really do wonder why TLG seems to have such a limited interest in releasing Cloud City-related sets. Considering that it accounts for about a third of the ESB, it's at the very least a statistical anomaly! However, the only thread of hope I'm clinging to is the current after-market value of 10123, plus the fact that the new UCS Slave 1 has sold really well.... Hopefully TLG has realised that there's an army of OT fans with more money than sense (including me!) and there will be a very strong market for them, especially if it's done reasonably well.
-
That's quite an impressive mistake to make, most impressive! I'll be interested to hear what they say about it I wouldn't count on it, last year they were all sold out in the UK during November and I couldn't find one anywhere at RRP It will be the first chance to get both the Ewok Warrior and Jawa in a (relatively) cheap set so I think that the demand will be equally high, especially when you factor in the surge in interest that's bound to occur due to the new film.

Thanks for the great review Ecclesiastes! I try to limit my LEGO purchases to SW, but I've got to buy one of these, he's so adorable! I haven't seen many new sets this year that I've really wanted to build, and would pay the RRP for, but this is definitely one of them. I'm quite surprised how many parts it has, and it looks like a really interesting build.
-
Hi, they're still available on FBTB (link)
-
Yes, I agree to a certain extent. The Falcon looks good but it's too similar to the previous version for me to bother with. Infact the only ones I might be interested in are the Command Shuttle (which looks far better than the first leaked photo of it) and Rey's Speeder. However, most of the prices seem to be even more ridiculous than usual. I won't be buying any of these at RRP, but at 30-40% they might be more appealing And, please can I remind everyone not to quote images, thanks!
-
Now that you mention it, that's a pretty accurate description! Hopefully the new range will include some more appealing designs, otherwise it could be a cheap winter for me.
-
Hrm, I'm not sure what to make of that, but perhaps after I've seen the movie it may be a little more appealing However, it already looks like a reasonable parts pack when it hits 40% off!
-
Please can we keep this thread focused on 2016 rumours, thanks If you'd like to talk about future sets that you'd like to see, please use the dedicated thread (link). Cheers, Robin

I don't think there's any problems with the Bricklink inventory for the set. I had a couple of missing parts for both of the ones I've built, but I think that they were due to errors by me or the sellers I've used. If you've ordered from TLG, the parts are manually counted and I've had several problems with the ones I've made in the last 12 months. It's just one of those things that you've got to accept, considering the volume and range of parts needed for it

Amazing work Anio! I didn't think that you could improve on the original, but it's now a genuine masterpiece  I dread to think how much this would cost to build, but perhaps one day....!

Thanks JackJonespaw for such a unique review! This is one of the few sets in the current wave that I'm tempted to buy, but I've already got the UCS version so I'm still in two minds. Although I'm not generally a fan of Endor-related sets, due to those adorable little ewoks, I'm really quite impressed by this. I'll probably buy one if I can find it at a decent discount at some point.

Hi, have you tried Bricklink? (here) For future reference there's a general Q&A thread pinned to the top of the forum. I'll merge this with it in a bit Cheers, Robin -
Hi Kir Kanos, and welcome to Eurobricks! If you're looking for inspiration, have you seen Brickplumber's version (link); it may give you a few ideas for building techniques. Cheers, Robin

Hi PeCaxFatality, and welcome to Eurobricks! For future reference there's a Q&A thread pinned to the top of this forum. I'll merge your thread with it in a bit I'd have a look at Bricklink or Ebay which should give you an indication of what it's currently worth. Obviously a lot will depend on the condition of it, manual etc. Please note that we only allow you to advertise items on Eurobricks once you've made 100 posts, as explained in this thread (link). Cheers, Robin -
