  1. Hi bj51, that's a very impressive display, I'm looking forward to seeing it progress. There's already a dedicated 'Show Your Army, Navy, and Collection Display' thread (link); I'll merge this with it in a bit. Cheers, Robin
  2. I'm delighted to announce that the Eurobricks Star Wars blog has just reached 1 million views! Thanks to all of my fellow bloggers for their help, and to everyone who's visited us. Cheers, Robin
  3. Hi Mereel, congratulations on completing it, I like the modifications that you've made
  4. I'm not sure what to make about this, there's a lot of grey and as a worst case scenario it will make a great parts pack! Although the image is a bit fuzzy, there's a couple of nice touches I can see including the twin cannons on each wing; it's a shame about the spring-loaded missiles though, but I guess they're here to stay.
  5. Hi Raskolnikov, that's a nice collection of Imperials! For future reference we have a dedicated 'Show Your Army, Navy, and Collection Display' thread (here); I'll merge this with it in a bit. Cheers, Robin
  6. Most impressive, KevFett2011! You've captured most of the details very well, including the gentle curvature of the main structure and the inverted angles of the corridor walls. You've even managed to add the hint of dark-red, plus the finer details of the antenna assembly, great work! One thing if I'm being really picky, the three cylinders which Vader slices apart shouldn't be like that yet, based on the position of the minifigures
  7. Hi NNOPMOC, TRU also have it, free with a spend of £15 on SW LEGO. Alternatively you can buy it online for £4.99, although it's limited to 1 per order (link)
  8. Please can we keep this thread for 2015 Pictures & Rumours, thanks. Any discussions about possible future sets should be made in the dedicated thread (here); questions about availability can be made (here)
  9. I've just seen this on the (UK) TRU website, although unfortunately they've removed all of the recent discounts! 'Free LEGO Star Wars Stormtrooper Sergeant when you spend £15 on any LEGO Star Wars set' Alternatively, you can buy it for £4.99, but it's only available for home delivery (link)
  10. Another great review duboismerci, thanks! I've added the poll as requested
  11. Another great review duboismerci, thanks! Poll added as requested
  12. Hi Wonderpants, personally I'd check the 'Pick a Brick' & 'Bricks & Pieces' websites first to see what's available and to set a 'benchmark' cost (the prices seem to differ occasionally between the sites, so it's well worth checking them both ). You can then order everything you can via Bricklink (obviously taking into account shipping costs!) and then do a final 'tidying' order via the LEGO websites for any parts that are cheaper, or just the odd straggler that you couldn't find on Bricklink. Good luck with it!
  13. Hi, I'd be very interested and I'm sure that other members would be as well!
  14. Hi mortiferum, and welcome to Eurobricks! I think has already mentioned most of the obvious sets, and offered some very sensible advice. For future reference, there's a general Q&A thread pinned to the top of the forum; I'll merge this with it in a bit. Cheers, Robin
  15. For anyone in the UK, Amazon has the The Imperial Shuttle (75094) and Final Duel (75093) in stock. Cheers, Robin
  16. Hi NNOPMOC, and welcome to Eurobricks! For future reference, there's already a Future Star Wars sets thread, I'll merge this with it in a bit: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=107233 Cheers, Robin
  17. That is really surprising, and I'm glad that TLG have offered to send you a replacement I've always been very lucky with the sets I've purchased and I think that I've only ever had one part missing! However, my recent experience with PaB has been slightly less good which are manually picked.... I wonder if this sort of thing is evidence of the pressure that TLG seem to be under at the moment, I guess it's the one down-side of being so successful.
  18. That's very impressive, All in the Reflexes, well done! It's a shame that some of the parts in the 10030 are so rare, otherwise I'd love to build one. You've made some great improvements to the original, and it's how I'd expect a new version to look (e.g. crammed with greebling!). The engines are particularly impressive, and the little Falcon is really cute!
  19. Thanks for the review duboismerci. It looks like a nice little set, if a touch on the pricey side! I've added the poll as requested
  20. I've been impressed by the quality of the packaging that TLG have used in the last 5 years, and virtually everything I've received has been in perfect condition. However, I was surprised that my recent May 4th order was literally delivered in just an outer box, with lots of space above it and a distinct lack of the air bags (or whatever you call them!). Luckily it was undamaged, but it seems a strange move to send £170 sets without suitable cushioning I hope that it's a temporary 'blip' due to the influx of orders, and not a change in policy.
  21. Hi Daphatty, that looks great! if you don't mind I'll merge this thread with '10179 Millennium Falcon Mods': http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=90828 Cheers, Robin

  24. I'm really impressed by the new Shuttle, but I can't see the Assault Carrier selling well. I guess I'm probably too old to appreciate it, but it just looks ugly and ridiculously over-priced I might be interested in it at a 50% discount as a parts-pack, but otherwise it's an easy pass for me.
  25. Hi Raj_UK, no problem at all, and just ask if you want any help with your project It's great fun, but I'd strongly recommend that you do quite a lot of planning before you start making any orders!
