  1. Cool, thank you! Yeah, plugging in the link at the beginning and copy-pasting the exact same description seems pretty low, I appreciate the feedback!
  2. Hiya! So... I've been fiddling around some more with MOCing- both with physical bricks and in LDD- but I've been having trouble building figures with system pieces for the look I'm going for. This is especially directed at @Aanchir , what with his sweet android. Any suggestions to make poseable figures using mostly system pieces? Especially with lower limbs and bodies, those are giving me a headache. I'm excited by what I've got so far, the cartoon characters I'm making seem semi-feasible now, but they really need all the details right. Thank you and I appreciate it!
  3. Yeah... and that's a bummer 'cause I have almost all the Stormtrooper-type sets and they have been getting progressively more and more boring to me. Some are cool, like my Shoretrooper Captain and OT Stormie, but the build is so darn bland after... 7, 8 sets? I dunno, I was hoping for a bigger last hurrah for the line, but we'll see what the future holds.
  4. I see. IF I were to "promote" a submission, it would be as an actual MOC showcase, plus the link, okay... I appreciate the clarification. BriXtar? Just a MOC showcase site? Yeah... Don't want any "one-&-done" users who just dump all their self-promotion on here in hopes of support, I gotcha... thanks for the reply!
  5. You're welcome! Sometimes there just isn't a good solution for some things : /
  6. Awesome! The colors look really good together, those green eyes pop so well! Not to mention those building techniques... the Dark Red Skrall/Vorrox shell plus the Galaxy Squad blades make for a great look, I love it!
  7. Hi, how are you doing? So... just as a future reference point, how do you feel about self-promoting your Ideas submissions on here? Are they allowed, and- more intriguing to me- do you respect them? Is it too desperate/low-brow to you? I've been debating whether I should put any and all my future Ideas submissions on here, I'm curious what you guys think about it? Thanks, I appreciate it!
  8. It's so clean looking, sweet! I love the color scheme, it pops in all the right ways. It's such a little thing for me to focus on, but I adore your saw-off shotgun build. The little grip makes me want to pick it up and go *chick-chick* ; )
  9. These are great, man! I love your use of iddy-bitty Technic pieces and system pieces to make these dudes, I love it! I really like the yellow and burnt orange accents on Lewa and Pohatu, they remind me of the G2 versions I like. Oh, and Kopaka's shield looks sooo much better, that was a good choice! If I had to critique something... I wish Gali and maybe Onua had the reversed leg design and- in Gali's case- wider hips. I don't think it's possible given how you made the lower limbs, but it would be cool to see. It's not as big a thing for me with Onua, since he already has a hunch-back and the regular leg design better accentuates his beefy-ness, but Gali having something different would both make her look more feminine and make her stand out more from the group. Regardless, I like the MOC, kudos!
  10. Sweet! I never really see a lot of Yo Yo, Piraka MOCs. I love the color choices, what with the black, dark green, and those lovely blue parts! The hands give him a lot of character, I adore the ridiculously sized shackles and chains, and how do you get those awesome teeth into that Raidak head? The Knight's Kingdom swords look great, whether they're meant to be a skirt or some feather-like appendages. Good job, man!
  11. I'd assume that's Disney's doing, but regardless I wish they were markedly cheaper. I still want my AT-RT and B2 though : (
  12. Awesome figure! I love how you stick "Sol-y" with black, white, and that lovely trans-blue. So clean and experienced looking!
  13. Your description is hilarious XD I love the security camera detailing in the photo, gives it that much more life!
  14. Hmm... I made a submission on Ideas for Lego MST3K, and I have the Atlantis Shadow Snapper, I want- no... I need Gamera.
  15. I love the use of the Vikings "Midgard Serpent" head for his body, it's very organic looking and feels both like a natural look for a spider, AND a Bionicle-esque mechanical military themed nightmare!
  16. Man... I'd SOOO be down with some Rhakshi or Makuta sets with those blades, alas...
  17. I'm totally up for some really wild Sci-Fi and Fantasy figures, stuff we've really never seen before. While Galidor's execution was awful, the idea of regular people meeting super-bizarre alien lifeforms is right up my alley! Aliens inspired by stuff from, like, Wayne Douglas Barlowe's Expedition would get me hooked instantly, just a bunch of cool-looking creatures with neat functions! For Constraction to continue, I think a System/Technic/CCBS mashup featuring the best aspects of each system would be great, bringing in the wild functions and support of Technic, the durability, simplicity and volume of CCBS, and the fine detail of System pieces. I don't know, there's so much they could do, I'm more excited by what I can't imagine they'd make over what I know I want.
  18. All of your pieces are so nice, I'm baffled! Good job as always! I'm sooo jealous of that Vahi and Chrome Hau...
  19. Dang, I really need to watch more of The A-Team... Cool MOC, dude!
  20. Huh, I just had flashbacks to "The Force Unleashed", and I thought- How cool would it be to have like a "Build-Your-Own-Jedi/Sith Lord" set? It's probably dumb, but something with like 200 pieces, every conceivable Lightsaber color, some fabric pieces for a Jedi robe or Sith cowl, a few different head molds.pieces for boy/girl/white/black/hispanic/ what have you? Basically the "Brickheads" set coming out, but with mostly constraction elements.
  21. Good ideas! There are so many, and you have a lot... for one, I think The Empire Strikes Back Bounty Hunters could all make awesome sets (albeit very unpopular and unlikely ones). Bossk, IG-88, Zuckuss, 4-LOM, even Dengar would all be very unique and fun to see! Really, any and all Bounty Hunters would be awesome, Cad Bane would have a ton of cool brown and blue parts, Greedo could bring Turquoise back to constraction, Embo, Aurra Sing, they'd be neat! Really, any droids could be great, from Artoo and Threepio and BB-8, to any of the CIS droids (especially a functioning B1 and Droideka!), they'd open up tons of possibilities! I would also like an Emperor figure for a couple reasons, one to torture attack my old Luke, two for some cool new lightning pieces, but most of all for a proper fabric hood piece and maybe a cloak. Kylo could use a tattered cowl and cape too, but a single small piece to make a hood would work wonders for him along with a spare Vezon cape, and a hood plus a cloak would look epic on the new Darth Maul set. Clones are always nice, really just a regular Shiny Clone would be great, especially if it came with both a Phase I and II helmet. As for named clones... you brought up pretty much everyone I'd want, except of course for my main man Captain Fordo ; ).
  22. Oh no... I need that Clone and B2, those are the most original-looking ones so far! I hope Amazon will still have them, assuming they're released at all...
  23. As for the figures like K-2S0 and the Praetorian Guard, some blue or black 3-long TECHNIC pins will tighten up the function, but that's me. I've heard that Maul might not have usable elbows? Is this real, in 2018?
  24. Your stuff is so creative and well-made, I love the personality in your works! That frill looks especially cool on the figure, nice!
  25. Hey, the New York Toy Fair is going on, and we have an image of Darth Maul... What do you think?
