  1. Does anyone have a link to the latest version in an APK format? I'm planning on installing on a few old phones and don't want to sign in with my google credentials. Alternatively if you have a link to a tutorial on how to pull the APK from my main phone that has it installed that would work as well.
  2. I'm fine using the Control+ hub from my 4x4 to run this module for a show this weekend :)
  3. Here's a video of the first in a series of LegoGBC modules I will build using the smaller simple City/Batmobile HUB. I will be flashing the code directly to the HUB with Pybricks as soon as the firmware is available for the City HUB. (I already have the python working on the control+ HUB)
  4. I'm looking forward to this set, and I plan to build some GBC modules using the hub, motors, and sensors. Hopefully the software to program this brick is well done, I'm not too keen on how they did the boost/pup/control+ programming. The lack of documentation, and in-house tutorials, was disappointing.
  5. I've used Pybricks with my Technic Hub and had great results. Looking forward to the City and Boost hub firmware becoming available!
  6. Good reliable modules -> https://www.greatballpit.com/p/lego-gbc-for-beginners.html
  7. Thank you for the research and information!
  8. There are a bunch of other great mods for this module that people have come up with. I have done the 20T bevel gear reduction mod.
  9. Masking tape and a sharpie with an arrow drawn pointing to the correct speed for that controller.
  10. Hello, here is my latest module which will allow me to split the flow of balls into two separate outputs. I've wanted to do a path splitter for a while. So after seeing a module in a recent European GBC layout that used the Sports ramps in this manner, it inspired me to get started. This module has a recirculation function, massive input bin, and the ability to move balls out quite quickly. The biggest challenge when building this module was getting the sweeper motion to work as intended. If anyone here has a better solution for the sweeper linkage please leave a reply as it is something I'd like to improve.
  11. Looks great, I'll be getting this one for sure.
  12. Hi Doug, all of the clips in my intros are taken from full length videos available on my YouTube channel. That intro has "Morgan's Mine", "Tilt-Shift" and "Solaire". If you are talking about the Minecraft module, it's based on GBCRamps which was designed by Brian Bonahoom. Instructions available here: http://www.greatballcontraption.com/wiki/GBCRamps I did build something similar called Inclination which can be seen here: https://youtu.be/B5RKMy1Ubj4
  13. Here is my version of the BrickWorld Chicago 2019 Workshop Module. It is a jigsaw style stepper and uses a Power Functions M motor. The motor and powertrain are built in such a way that they are supported by the main drive axles which is quite interesting. It is mostly studless Technic which is a departure from the BW series of modules.
  14. It's an interesting module @Lasse D. I think it needs to be themed as a "Dippy Bird" ?
  15. The module was definitely inspired by many different round racer track modules I've seen in the past, not a specific one. None of them were referenced when building the module. Interestingly some like @Maico have the break in the track where the sweeper has to jump back down, I decided to keep the track in one piece and use a conveyor to get the balls up. I'm expecting this module to be really useful @ public layouts due to the ability to handle corners and U-Turns.
  16. Here is a GBC module built using a conveyor, and the older "Racer" track. The theme is based on the song of the same name. The conveyor is powered by a PF-M Motor, and the Sweeper is using a PF-XL motor.
  17. Thanks Doug! I'm not sure if this would improve performance over the Technic connector that is currently used, but it's something we could test out.
  18. What is the part number for the "changeover arm"? I'm not familiar with that name.
  19. I like the new slimmed down version you've made as well!
  20. It won first place in a GBC building challenge that was hosted by members of the GBC community chat on discord. 10 other modules were also entered including my Money Bin which won second place. You can join the chat here: http://discord.gg/YPwm9w7 All of the modules that were entered (except for one) are posted here: https://www.greatballpit.com/2019/06/spring-into-gbc-challenge-results.html
  21. I saw the model last month at BrickCan 2019 when it was shown to hundreds of people by Lego Technic Designer Milan... The Yellow dog bones and gear racks will be a nice addition.
  22. Here's a simple one I've built recently. It uses a fairly common drivetrain that runs beneath the module to drive some lift arms at both ends. Power is taken off the main drive shaft using worm gears which drive 24T gears at both ends. The steps down were inspired by Cadder's "Demon road" which can be seen in a few of the Brickvention videos out of Australia.
  23. I'd like to see more info on the "simple battery box".
