  1. I don't really like this type of buildings in real life but you succeeded to make it look very pleasant, probably thanks to the great color scheme and the amount of details! Can't wait to see more from your Wasabi district project!
  2. Looks great, I just love its color scheme and the unfinished look it has! The greenhouse on the back is probably my favorite part though, I just love the way you used those big transparent pieces and how luxury it looks! Keep up the great work!
  3. They look incredible together, I love how it goes from the least crazy looking from the craziest one! Incredible job on all of these! By the way, what did you use to render? It doesn't look like Blender but the results are very convincing... Is it Stud.io?
  4. Wow, Bricky_Brick's modulars really started to be amazing, this is probably my favorite by him! Why the Corner Garage didn't look like this, this is the first time I've seen a three storey modular garage that I love!
  5. Check out this beauty: IMG_4255 by Davdup, on Flickr
  6. You just made my day! Truly magnificent two Art Nouveau jewels you got here, Casa Batlló is instantly recognizable and brilliantly done, and the building on the left looks gorgeous! You chose just the right parts to represent all the details of Casa Batlló and the windows of the townhouse are shaped brilliantly! I have some suggestions to give if you don’t mind... I’m not really sure about the color scheme of them separately and together... I personally think that only white or only tan would work better for Casa Batlló and a few tones of blue would look nice on the top floor of Casa Batlló. Also I’m not totally sure about the way you used plates on the top floor, I think it looks blocky but it’s pretty difficult to capture the color splashes found in Casa Batlló better without using illegal techniques so I don’t really know how it could look better... Perhaps some flower pieces in different colors? Or, if you don’t mind using illegal techniques, it’s possible to use cheese slopes like in this MOC. You can check out this tutorial if you are interested in this and similar techniques as well as Katie Walker’s photostream and this Flickr group. I just love the color scheme of the townhouse on its own but I’m not really sure about the look of its colors next to Casa Batlló... But after all, this is your MOC and it’s brilliantly done! Thanks so much for making Art Nouveau buildings, you really make my day! Keep up the incredible work! P.S. I highly recommend you to add your last MOCs (including this one) to lots of Flickr groups because they deserve a lot more faves! EDIT: This really grew up on me, I love it much more than yesterday!
  7. Looks great, I once more like this version more than the other... I love the melting snow, the marbled like roof and the textured walls! The only thing I’m not sure about is the snow on the roof; I think it looks a bit unnatural to me. Anyway, keep up the amazing work!
  8. Yes, so this topic is opened back... Let’s start discussing about the 2020 modular... What could it be? In which architectural style it could be? How many pieces it can include? Who could be the designer? Plenty of things to discuss during a whole year...
  9. This is unfortunately true. But I can still name some great builders who almost share only their christmas MOCs on Eurobricks: Swan Dutchman (Koen Zwanenburg), Full Plate and Legopard (Jonas Kramm) and Wineyard.
  10. Great work as always @koalayummies, I just love all the detailing on the façade, the color scheme, shaping of the dome and the photography! The interior is amazing as well, I really enjoyed the story and the expressions of the minifigures... I’m not totally sure about heights of the floors: I think they will look just right if you add a height of two bricks to the each floor... Anyway, keep up the great work!
  11. Just wanted to say that I’m extremely glad to see that so many MOCs are being featured and frontpaged! Keep up the great work, @Ecclesiastes and anybody else who is working on this!
  12. This MOCer has some creepy but epic stuff: You can find many more mind-blowing MOCs in his photostream! I think so as well... Every MOC you highlighted is great but I've forgotten about this one so thanks for highlighting it!
  13. @ranghaal made a new MOC which absolutely made my day! Another brick in the brick wall by Ralf Langer, on Flickr I like the domes and the railings on this one but some pieces on the façade seem to be not fitting very well in my opinion... Nevertheless, still a nice build.
  14. This is a real masterpiece (as every other composition by Ravel is) that definitely deserves to be listened to even if one isn’t that much into classical music. Warning: If you listen to this with headphones, I recommend to not set the volume too high. Enjoy this masterpiece. Wagner is a great composer, I need to listen more to his music...
  15. Very glad to see some MOCs by you, your style pleases me a lot! I really love the wall texturing and the roof of the hut, the supports of the watch tower are very well done and the log wall looks great with all the height variety... Keep up the great work!
  16. Looks great, I love how you use regular plates as rockwork and the shaping is very impressive! Keep up the great work!
  17. Just dropping this here thinking that it may please someone... Steam Racer by Robert Heim, on Flickr This is a digital build but it looks great and uses some great techniques so... Porsche 9919 Gharial by Cagerrin, on Flickr
  18. As most of you know, I'm not a big fan of posting recent MOCs in this thread (but that's just me, anybody is welcome to post recent MOCs) but this WIP of Hogsmeade by @PolkovnikOnTheWhiteHorse (Timofey Tkachev) more than deserves to be posted here! 5 WIP Hogsmeade by timofey_tkachev, on Flickr
  19. After watching Brickvault's review, I think I agree with them for the most part. The architectural style doesn't appeal too much to me and I don't like the gaps between the angled parts. The color scheme of the ground floor is very nice and the color scheme of the first and second floor is great but together, they don't fit very well in my opinion. I do like the innovative techniques/parts usage that give architectural details though, such as the roofline and the window designs on the right side. I think that the lamppost is out of place as Brickvault mentioned. I really like the petrol pump island though and the sign above it, I think it's greatly detailed. About the tree, I think it's a nice idea to use the new leaf pieces but the tree doesn't look realistic to me... I've seen a more realistic tree using those new leaf pieces but it uses way too many of them, so I guess it would have been better to use a tree like the one in the Brick Bank... The garage is nice but lacking some details. Luckily, the space is used a lot better in the animal clinic. The apartment has some nice furniture builds but it lacks lots of important things like a shower, a cupboard, a table, a fridge etc. and the most disappointing thing is that there is enough space for most of that... I now understand why some people say this almost looks like a WIP... And I don't understand how the piece count of the Corner Garage can be so high considering that the ground floor is even not tiled and some important things are missing. I guess it's because of the shaping and some architectural details that require small pieces... The minifigures are nice but I wish they had some new/exclusive prints. This still remains to be a pretty cheap with something around 0,074 cents per piece here in France but I wish the modular series continued their incredibly cheap price to parts ratio with the Downtown Diner being around 0,064 per piece (lol, exactly one cent cheaper)... I'll still probably purchase this as a parts pack for my future MOCs... By the way, I think that it would be great if @Rick could unlock the Modular Rumours and Discussions topic, this is a good time to open in my opinion...
  20. Haha, I definitely didn't expect to see something like this! Really enjoyed the childish story which brought back some good memories and of course both of the builds and the incredible editing!
  21. Wow, you’re improving very fast! The whole thing looks very nice, I’m seeing some great ideas everywhere such as the angles and the small waves! As what to improve, I think the others said everything. I would just recommend you a few builders (who aren’t very active here) who have very innovative landscaping rockwork ideas that may inspire you (and anybody else): I hope I didn’t spam this thread too much... Anyway, keep up the great work!
  22. I completely agree. I appreciate the designers efforts and am very glad for everybody who likes this modular but I’m not as convinced by CG as the other modulars and the price increase reinforces my disappointment. Again, I completely agree with you. The exterior of the Winter Village Fire Station was a lot more interesting to look at probably mainly because of the usage of Elves Fences as windows. I wonder if anybody has seen some MOCs by the designer, I didn’t come across anything with the brief research I made.
