Well, now you don't have to go nuts on Ninjago being the "last" (which definitely isn't). If you didn't notice, we now got a new original theme called "Hidden Side".

Seems very likely as it'll be weird if they didn't since this movie is bigger than TLBM and TLNM. But still, I'm keeping my fingers crossed regardless!

The suits definitely looks pretty interesting. I'm getting similar vibes to Hunted and that's cool. I'm glad on by the way the suits is, this doesn't seem to be your average typical fire and ice stuffs if it is that. Looking forward to seeing more of the next wave!

Oh yeah, and in a small way too! No wonder that lab reminds me of something but I just can't seem to put what. Until now!

Same here too. Jurassic World's stuff have never striked me as something interesting or cool. Until this.... Gotta say when I first saw this though, my mind was reeling and begging this to be in an original theme.

Whoa, this series has some good minifgures, the designs has amazed me again! Minifigs that I totally dig is the Bandito, the Jousting Knight, the Zombie Girl, Alien Tracker (I thought he spreads the aliens when I first saw him hehe!), and the Cosplayer (That unikitty suit looks darn cute!). But...ultimately, my fav is the Supervillain, Saree Girl and the Witch Doctor! Amazingly detailed and their accessories just looked so good that I really wish I could have 'em in real life haha! And I think I'll say the same for the Cosplayer too! That cuteness there! Again, great stuffs there and and thanks for showing!

Holy! These looks darn good! I'm getting a Scooby-Doo & Monster Fighters combo vibe here. I really dig the monster gimmick in the structures and seeing glimpse of the other set, they looks awesome too! The details in the minifigures draws me good (especially the "possessed" teacher!), they're amazing! This theme will definitely be in my "picking up" list!

Indeed. To be honest, I don't really see the point of this thread, everything shown here is pretty mild. There are more extreme stuffs that could've been put in and I'm glad that it isn't the case. MAB's example of rape and pillaging in a kingdom's sets quite amuses me and I'm still waiting for OP's response to that since he's pressed on this haha. I'll say that it's all in the imagination, it's you that decides if you want things to get weird or perceive it to be violent. If the sets were to be taken at face value, it's definitely not that bad. Still, I've quite enjoyed reading the discussion that going on here, so I'm not against this thread either

Damn, that's wasted potentials to make the Oni awesome...Is it because of more effort and resources being diverted to season 11/summer wave? Still, wish they get a good full season treatment and even a small wave treatment. Oh well... BTW, Garmadon's face when he gets more powered-up on the oni side, looks quite hilariously ridiculous hehe. I think it would've been much better to at least have the design in par with Three General Mask or The Omega.

This may seems to be an interesting topic to touch, but when looked at the bigger picture of why this thread exist....it's just another reason for you to bash on licensed themes and also adding on why they shouldn't exist, is it not?, Lego David.

Agreed. The first two episodes were pretty nice. The next two felt very off, rushed and forced indeed. At least, stretch it to five episodes with the fourth being the preparation episode and the fifth being the concluding battle. With that, I think, (the three) ninjas would have room to use the vehicles of the golden weapons in battle. Also...why on earth wasn't there black clouds when the Oni make their assault on the Monastery? And personally, I think it might have been better if the Oni have stuffs/sets of their own like battle beasts, destroyer wisp or even more deadlier Oni Titans, Just have something. Because, yeah, just by themselves, is pretty weak. With stuffs like battle beasts and stuffs, the battle might be even more deadly and interesting.

I voted for 3860. Heroica was one of my favorite themes back in 2011. Didn't have any of the sets but I enjoyed its presence and media nonetheless! Close ones was the Kingdom Chess Set and 6079's Dark Forest Fortress as they are dope sets! Another close one was the Castle Skeleton Battle Pack. Those skeleton minifigures looked pretty good.

Not sure on that but I wouldn't mind paying a few extra dollars or more for faun legs and extra printing.

7029 too! I really dig the skeleton ship! And it's also looks to be a fun siege/assault set too! Close ones was 6049, 1695 and 6024 as discovering the 90s themes was one of the staple times of 2017 and 2018 for me. So yeah, a totally biased reason (And yes, nice to have this thread to finally pop up )

Speaking of Oni, episode 97 finally show the other variants of the Oni (minifig headed and short legged ones) from the accessory pack. Though there are also variant with faun legs shown too...

Third on this! These stuff really do have funky ideas that I dig! Now, just adding to this discussion - Where does this leave The Lego Movie & The Lego Movie 2? They are an original Lego event.

To be honest, I have no idea on how classic space would be if it came back. I mean Benny's stuffs is already an amazing throwback. Don't really know how it could go further than that. I know it could, I just don't see how. Though If it does, it'll definitely be interesting to see how.

I am very well aware of that. Like I said, I also hunt at places where third-party dealers hang out. That's where I can find retired sets including CCBS, Yeah, still, it is an interesting read. Gotta thank for the creation of the thread though. It made me dust off my old bricks that I haven't touched for years and start being creative with them. Realized (again) that there's more fun to Lego than just collecting. And in fact, messing around my old bricks plus this discussion has also made me be needing more parts and I do see sets that can make great parts packs! And I'm starting to drawn to Creator and Classic too...
