  1. I don't see how for these (three) themes could be made for more than one wave. I have not seen The Angry Bird Movie but I've seen the other two films and those single waves has covered the parts that was needed to be covered.
  2. I've picked Exo-Force and Dino Attack. For Exo-Force, I been digging mech and robots, stuff like that though I didn't really give that theme much of a thought back then. It was later when I start exploring that theme I start to see that this theme does have some insane sets like The Mobile Devastator and Bridge Walker. Plus my love the mech and robots, that pretty much amazed me. Also the Jungle theme is a nice wave too! Overall, the aesthetic is darn good. As for Dino Attack, I like that theme due to me seeing the commercial and seeing how savage it was!
  3. It's no crime to pick all (well, except none hehe) right? Pretty much grew up with the themes despite hardly buying any of the sets and also exploring those that haven't been familiar with in the later years has been very fun! Plus, they're original themes too! Which comes with funky dope ideas!
  4. I picked Adventurers and Time Twisters. While exploring the 90s themes back in 2017, aside from Space, I find Adventurers & Time Cruisers/Twister very interesting. For Adventurers, I'm a sucker for some Egyptian and Aztec stuff! And again, the Time Cruisers is just very interesting with it sets and concept!
  5. Well, even though it's a big bang theme and whether it's coincidence or not, the theme still follows the timeline of every three years or so for castle themes. And I just checked that the wiki didn't include Nexo Knight in the castle category. Either way, that theme didn't fufill the wants of the castle fans. Just some observation here.
  6. Well, like Exo-Force, that theme is pretty darn cool, quite a lot of aspect that makes it very interesting like animal headed vehicles and bases. The speedorz is quite a dope concept too. And the show is quite enjoyable to me too. I'll say that 2013 and 2014 1st half year were the coolest to me personally! Not really a big fan of the Fire and Ice theme but they are still pretty darn cool too nonetheless. Overall 7.5/10! Next theme - Forma! (Hehehe)
  7. Indeed. That's also why I find Friends quite fresh with it's various sub-themes too. (I personally dig the reboot though. It's probably because I started exploring that theme around there. ) And for example, Nexo Knight again, that theme's pretty cool but in the next two years, I (and I'm sure a lot more do) find the more villains interesting as they are different every year. The knights are great in the first year, not so much in the next two. (But I'll admit that some of the knight vehicles are pretty darn cool in '17 summer wave)
  8. Also the banner for the 2012 set was in green with green scales too. So yeah. I'm pretty fine with how the snake minifigs are, I still wish that the skeletons are a tad bit better. Like having a better armor in the least.
  9. I don't think he's being devils advocate. Based on previous discussions it seems that it's quite personal. I mean flat out saying 2018 & 2019 sets is "trash" isn't really exploring the thought further.
  10. I'm not sure whether is this off topic but since this touch, the "fortunately it survived" part, I'm quite confused in the video regarding "Too many licensed themes" where you said that it was a lie that Star Wars saved Lego. On Topic, I don't think Lego going down anytime soon. One of the aspects of Lego crashing down back then was terrible management. Other than Bionicle and Star Wars(?) saving Lego, Jørgen Vig Knudstorp was brought in to sort the huge mess that's in the company. I don't really know what's going on in the internals that well so I definitely can't say when it'll go (because again, I don't know). But it doesn't seem to be in a deep mess right now.
  11. Well based on what I've observed from the discussion if I'm not mistaken, The castle fans thinks that the futuristic aspect went overboard to the point where the theme doesn't even feel or looked to be a castle theme. I mean in general it is a castle theme but again, the traditional aspect was so deviated that the castle fans just doesn't want to consider it one. Also it sells well at first, then it doesn't. That's why we only got one wave for 2018 and no season 5.
  12. Wowee! I'm loving how Apocalypseburg looked in the basement and the Systar System in Bianca's room! Both looked so darn immersive to the point that I could get inspired to create my own fantasy world.
  13. Personally, I don't have any problems with the ninjas suits design at all. They're pretty cool for what it is. Though, I'm not sure whether would it made a mess design-wise but I think the suits just need some gold (could be tiny or significantly) in it as I've noticed that all of the ninjas' vehicles (excluding dragons) have golden parts/golden blades as part of their aesthetic. Another thing that I kinda wish to be brought back is Ranked Gi(s). I find stuffs like "Trainee rank - Dragon Xtreme rank - Zen Xtreme rank and it ends at Kimono" quite interesting. Like there's a reason for the Gi changes. I'm pretty fine with how it is now. Just thought that it would be cool to have this depth back again. I would guess Hunted did touch this subject a bit. The four ninjas' gis are torn and damaged version of their S.O.G. gis while Lloyd & Nya's are gis for the resistance.
  14. Wow! I gotta say, I'm liking the "pimped-up" version of this. That's some muscle! (Love the supercharger) And the engine is quite nicely detailed too!
  15. I have not seen that movie but that does seem interesting. Now coming back to the LEGO movie universe, I wonder that is it possible to have a The Lego Clutch Powers Movie" or have him as a main character in a LEGO movie sequel? Would be pretty cool if these stuffs happens! Though the Adventures of Clutch Powers was by Universal... Just some wishful thinking.
  16. Yep, that is the second thing (The Ice Emperor) that came into my mind after the first. Seems to be a very high possibility. Looking forward to seeing more of that! And yeah, I'm glad that eyebrows is still being retained as in March of the Oni, even his titanium version has the TLMN eyebrows.
  17. It's a pretty darn cool theme. I do like how it handles the mecha theme well for it's time. And I'm also amazed with some insane sets like the Mobile Devastator or the Bridge Walker! Great design and aesthetic for its time! But I'll say with building techniques for mech improving in the later years. I have to this theme give a 7.5/10. Still, a dope theme nonetheless! Alright next theme - The Lego Movie 2.
  18. Whoa. "he's going NRG again?" was my first thought when seeing this. Also, it seems that he's retaining his pre-March of the Oni/TLMN eyebrow.
  19. Finally got mine yesterday! And boy, it's (Prize B) pretty different from the last day's stuff! Thought the bonus would be slightly different. Anyway, I'm already darn grateful that I got the kessel miner and a series 17 minifig! And I'm quite intrigued that there's a Ghostbuster ghost too. Again, thank you CopMike and Sigfreid for this!
  20. That is darn cool and interesting stuff too! Thanks for showing!
  21. Man, gotta say. I was near-speechless on first sight. That is awesome stuffs there!
  22. Dang! These playsets (MOCs) looked darn good. And they even seem quite legit to the actual deal for MOCs! And yeah, both this and Hidden Side does give similar vibes to me too. Though this added a pinch of Alien Conquest vibe too.
  23. Hey there! You can upload images to https://imgur.com/ too. Works for me!
  24. I definitely hope so too! And hmmm......"Ctulhu" got me thinking.....maybe there can be like eldritch-like mutations too like Hearthstone's Old Gods stuffs! Great potential to explore that if possible!
  25. Wow! I really like the "Banana Van" (Truck) set! Looks to be fun set! (totally digging the bike too) But I'll agree that the bus and school was the most impressive of them all. The Train looks quite intriguing, looking forward to seeing more on its full transformation! (And am I seeing a city train logo on it?!) The boat set definitely looks interesting too! And also looking forward to seeing more pics of the diner, I really like the shrimp sign and kitchen interior. I'm a sucker for checkered floors!
