Well, are there any licenses that 'AL' could be an acronym for? If there aren't, then by process of elimination it has to be an original theme. And, since Nexo Knights and Elves both have/seem to be ending, that leaves something of a vacuum. Whereas the only point against having a new original theme is the fact that it would be in competition with The Lego Movie 2. And even then, in-house themes tend to last for three years, which would mean they want to run AL until 2021. While TLM2 will be lucky if it continues into Winter 2020.

The Cupcake Cafe sounds promising, snd the Heart Boxes intrigue me. Other than that, it all sounds like the same old, same old. I'm not getting my my hopes up too much for anything spectacular out of that lot. EDIT: Wow, 700th post and I accidentally write 'Copcake Cafe' . . actually, I'd buy that. A cafe that serves cake to cops . . yeah, I might try building that. XD

Intellectually, I know that it'll probably just be a police themed airfield . . . but part of me really wants an official Lego blimp, even in Police colours . . . Although, it's also worth noting that one of the leaks is marked 'Sky Police Diamond Heist'. I'm predicting a set with two small planes; one crooks plane, probably in red, with a storage compartment for stolen diamonds (and, of course, the only possible way for the crooks to escape is by air), and one police plane. Maybe it'll be similar to that one set from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade from a fair few years back? Honestly, more than anything I'm interested in the new road plate packs. Has this happened before? Does everyone think they'll be the same as the ones we've already got, or is it time for TLG to introduce a new style of road?

Well, we have been getting leaks for a new theme currently known only as 'AL'. This could certainly be a new in-house theme to replace Nexo Knights. Maybe "Adventurer's League"? Something to answer the constant cries for a rerelease of Johnny Thunder and co.? Hell, maybe it'll be a direct continuation? We could get to see a version of Johnny who's gotten old and now acts as mentor for/lives vicariously through a new group of younger adventurers. I wasn't even around for the original Adventurers theme, but I'd buy that. ^^ Although that is just speculation . . . Either way, if Elves does die, I just hope that the lovely moulds they introduced for it don't die with it. Especially the animal heads; those are adorable and I want them in more colours.

If we finally get another show-accurate Misako in a set in my price range, I don't care, I'll get it. After the nightmare of Koko last year, I NEED a proper Misako.

Well, whatever the case, the prospect of legacy sets, especially big things like the Ultra and Golden Dragons (since I was in a Dark Age for the second half of 2012 and all of 2013-4) excite me. Maybe we'll finally get the Overlord? As in, a proper Overlord, not the Golden Master/Digital Overlord. Now here's hoping that the rumours of a remade Spinjitzu Monastery also happen. Athough I'd settle for the Fire Temple. If I must. Also, who says there will be new antagonists? Remember, the Oni are shapeshifters. Who's to say they won't assume the forms of previous villains?

Here's hoping. Though, have they ever done a D2C for a smaller theme like this before? The only thing I can think of is the Ultron Hulkbuster, and even though Infinity War was a one-off, it's part of the broader, long-lived Super Heroes theme . . .

I'd love to see even one Gravity Falls set. As for the Toy Story Train, I assume it would be a tie-in to Toy Story 4 . . but man, that would be a small train. I predict it'll follow Incredibles and be a Juniors-only line. Maybe they'll introduce some new Juniors train carriage part? I could see that happening. . . . Actually, I have zero interest in Toy Story, but if they do make a new train carriage part, either four or six studs wide, I might get it just for the MOC potential . .

Well, we don't know for certain, but based on the product number, it looks like a City set, and 'Police' is in its name . . and I highly doubt that this would be the first year since before I started collecting Lego to not have a new Police theme. I'm just hoping for a blimp . .

Well, we got a leak. Looks like City Police is taking to the skies with 60210 Sky Police Air Base. My first thought when reading this was 'please be some kind of helicarrier or blimp'. But, knowing Lego, it's probably jut a police-themed airport. I think we all know what this means. More helicopters. Yay. On the bright side, since the various City subthemes have had a greater propensity to tie in with each other recently, this is good news for a revival of the Space program.

If you can call what we've been getting leaks. Set numbers and USD price points are meaningless (especially to someone who buys Lego with AUD), I want pictures!

I've certainly made some customs for my Elves layout . . though it'll probably become more general fantasy soon . . . still, though!

Interesting . . but I'm not convinced. I mean, the Ultra and Golden Dragons are one thing, but the Storm Fighter and the Earth Driller? What's so special about them? Also, return of Spinjitzu? . . Eh. May be that I never had anyone to play with, but I only really viewed this things as cheap was to get minifigures.

Here's hoping. I still want an update to the Winter Village Bakery, and I wouldn't mind seeing Cafe Corner or the Greengrocer's again.

The only vehicles I can think of are D.Va and Wrecking Ball's mechs. Though I'll be first to admit I only have a small knowledge of the source material, so . . might be more? I really hope we se at least a couple of location builds. Something Japanese for Genji and Hanzo is practically guaranteed, because of the possible Ninjago link. I'm hopeful that there'll be a Junkrat/Roadhog set too, because their post-apocalyptic vibe works so well with The Lego Movie. And I desperately hope they make a big set of Fort Gilbatrar with Winston and Reaper. That place is amazing.

Well, assuming it's minifig and not constraction, I'll buy it. Though, to be honest I don't expect Overwatch to last long. It'll probably be more of a One-off theme like Jurassic World; one, maybe two waves? Three at most. But who cares? As long as I get Tracer and Mercy (and some other cool stuff) I don't really care how long it lasts. Although I do hope they make Junkrat and Roadhog. Wrecking Ball too. It'd tie in brilliantly with TLM2.
