  1. Okay, so there are pictures going around of 60210 Sky Police Air Base, 60214 Burger Bar Fire Rescue, 60216 Firemen In The City (it is definitely not a fire station, it looks more like a construction site that's caught fire) and 60217, some kind of forest fire with a plane. The parachute thing looks cool, I hope it comes in more colours, or at least in smaller sets. The Burger Bar looks interesting, and I have to admit that the off-road-looking fire truck is pretty appealing too. The rest are all easy passes - the actual construction site part of 60216 looks nice, but I'm not shelling out for that awkward fire trailer when I could just put the money towards my next Modular Building instead.
  2. These sets all look pretty nice. Must-buys for me are the Monastery (because OMG that place is beautiful!) and the Storm Fighter. (More because there's FINALLY a Pythor in an affordable set than anything.) Probably the Golden Dragon set too, if only for the minifigs, and the Earth Driller if it's in the budget. (Though between Overwatch and TLM2 it might not be!) I'n curious about what's going on with the Blade Cycle/Snowmobie sets, though, since there seems to be some street scenery around too . . it almost looks like S.O.G. stuff.
  3. We have new, high-quality pictures of the minifig s without all their armour and stuff. I'm pleasantly surprised by Reaper's torso print. It looks great. And I don't know why some people are criticising Hanzo. He looks pretty good, especially that new wig part. Same for McCree, though I'm annoyed that his cape covers up most of the details in the picture.
  4. I'm seeing in the Tracer vs. Widowmaker set that it 'also features a checkpoint disc'. I think that means there'll be another printed orange dish like the one built into the Watchpoint: Gibraltar set included. Awesome! That part looks great and I'll be happy to have a spare.
  5. A clear picture of Reaper has leaked. I like him, more than I expected (especially since the torso and legs are sufficiently generic to be used in a lot of MOCs) but . . dear god, those leg prints are so lopsided. I really hope that's just a one-off and they won't all be like that. It would ruin Reaper. -.-
  6. Kruncha is supposed to have a monocle. I don't know who that face is for, but it does norm look like Kruncha. Eh, I still have minifigures of Nuckal and Kruncha from 2011. I'm not bothered.
  7. Definitely want to see Frozone here. My biggest lament about the Incredibles sets this year was the absence of Frozone. Here's hoping they can rectify that. Scrooge McDuck is unlikely but would be great. Can't think of anything else, but I'm sure the choices will be interesting all the same!
  8. These are amazing. Granted, the leak about there being a War Machine focused set for A4 makes me a little less concerned about getting Rhodes, but I NEED that Wong. Any word on when this'll be available in AUS?
  9. You get how this is a bit redundant without a proper T'Challa face, right?
  10. Well, considering that these are leaked figs, it's entirely possible that the wheelchair would be produced separately and the leaker wouldn't know any better Who said?
  11. Okay, I am now certain that these minifig s are from Borg Tower. That one guy with the glasses and white pants and the black/dark blue torso? I am 90% certain that that is Cyrus Borg, Can't wait to see the actual set!
  12. I hope they're not exclusives, they look great and I want them.
  13. Ocean Master is cute, but unless the build is spectacular (and I mean the supposed bit of Atlantis scenery, not the Bat-Sub) I'll probably pass.
  14. The prices of Lego in the U.K. . . . you're so lucky . . here I am trying to find a way to get Brick Bank for less than $200 . .
  15. I hope the character included is a student; I need more school uniforms to expand my student roster. "Robin Underwood," "GRYFFINDOR!"
  16. Naah. The most wonderful time of the year, is when they are released.
  17. Well, depending on how you look at it Hanzo could be interpreted as a villain. But I've already said I'm disappointed that there's no Sombra, so I won't repeat myself . . . wait I just did
  18. Nice work. XD Mercy is pretty great, but I'm disappointed about her wings. Probably going to try creating some brick-built replacements. Those old Chima style wings are designed to look organic and feathery, They're mostly white too, whereas I can see from the pictures they're really more yellow. Yeah, definitely gonna change those on mine. Top-notch prints and wig, though. ^^ I was hoping for Junkrat, Roadhog and Sombra, too. I wish they'd replaced one of the Reapers with a Sombra minifig - we were this close to having a whole wave with not a single repeated minifig. Here's hoping that Sombra, at least, will pop up in Wave 2. Lucio would be good, too.
  19. Really? Aww, that's a shame. And I intentionally skipped the Lex Luther mech this year on the provision that there would be a Cheetah in the 1984 set next year. Damnit . . .
  20. Okay, after scrutinising the box arts, I've come up with a list of names! 75970: Tracer vs. Widowmaker 75971: Hanzo vs. Genji 75972: Dorado Showdown 75973: D.Va & Reinhardt 75974: Bastion 75975: Watchpoint: Gibraltar . . . . Wow, those are some boring names.
  21. Hey, I just noticed; Pharah is using recoloured blue Nexo Knights armour. That's certainly innovative. I'm disappointed that they used plain, white Chima wings for Mercy, though . . might have to work on creating some brick-built ones that are better. Also, does anyone's who plays the game know which map the set with 76 and McCree is based on? I think it's King's Row, but can someone corroborate?
  22. Oh, I see now, the ship bit from the Tracer/Widowmaker set is the payload from the Watchpoint: Gibraltar Map in the game. Even the box art shows the small vehicle being placed on top of the yellow circle that's in the Gibraltar set. The biggest and smallest sets are supposed to work together.
  23. Oh man, I am hyped! Well, sort of anyway. The Watchpoint set is a little disappointing that there's not much actual base, but I can live with it. Definitely a must-buy. Tracer/Widowmaker Set is a must-buy too. Reaper/76/McCree has brilliant builds, but it's probably not gonna be high on my priority list. Though if I do get it that stuff is all going to be integrated into bigger builds for my city. Bastion . . I get there are people who like the big display piece style build, but it's just not for me, and I'll definitely pass on it. Genji/Hanzo Set is definitely cute, but I don't have much interest in the characters, so I'll only get that one if budget allows (which, between TLM2, Ninjago, and Spidey it might not). Which leaves Reinhardt/D.Va . . . I'm honestly a little disappointed. Those mechs are nice, but they're so bulky and overbuilt and I just feel like Lego could have done better at making them more accurately scaled. I might get it, but it's unlikely. Also; disappointed by the repeat of Reaper. I'd have much rather gotten a minifig of Sombra, especially over Pharah. Pharah is a surprising choice, and I'll get e Set anyway because Mercy and Winston, but the only way Pharah makes sense is . . if they're gonna make a minifig of Ana down the line. Actually, this might be interesting. Also, no Roadhog/Junkrat? Boo.
  24. Eh. Ninjas have died before. Technically speaking, Sensei Wu's been undead since the first season - remember when he went over that lava-fall in the Fire Temple to get to the Underworld? Well, either that cave in the Fire Temple is actually a magical portal that for some reason the Ninja couldn't use . . or he committed suicide to get to the Underworld. Also, Zane, Cole and Nya have all been killed at various points. Not to mention Dr. Julian, who enjoyed death so much he did it twice. At this point dying is trendy.
  25. Nooooo, the fantasy elements are what makes it more interesting than normal Modulars! I'd like to see Serpentine as civilians.
