Dear god. Those remakes of Nuckal and Kruncha look so ugly. I think I'll stick to the original, preserved 2011 versions I still have. I'm digging the new Stone Army shoulder pads, though. And the Kai/Zane bikes look better than I expected. The Giant Stone Warrior, though . . it's actually disappointingly plain. I appreciate the brick-built texturing, but if wasn't worth sacrificing all the little details, particularly the signature white/silver lines. I think that set just got downgraded from 'probably-buy' to 'get on discount'. Can't wait to see the Ultra Dragon.

Of course Mayhem is Finn's sister. Everyone knows that. For me, the clincher was that line in the second trailer; Lucy: I'm your worst nightmare! Mayhem: You're me when I'm late to school and forgot my homework and also my pants are made of pudding? Lucy: Uh, what? That's an awfully specific 'worst nightmare' scenario for a battle-hardened adult military commander, don't you think?

I've compared several pictures and that spaceman is definitely classic yellow. It's just lighting.

My money's on CMF.

Okay, TBB has a new article up. Apparently Rex Dangervest is our first 'Master Breaker', which I suppose is the opposite of a Master Builder, and master of the 'deconstructonator punch'. Also, his spaceship, which is billed in the sets as the 'Rexplorer'? Its name is actually 'Rexcelsior'. A better Lego tribute to Stan Lee I could not imagine. Now I want to get that set solely on the basis of its name.

So, I think the trailer gave us a look at a potential 2HY set. It showed Lucy facing off with Sweet Mayhem in some kind of battle suit with a printed brick for a visor. I don't think it looks too good, but I don't see why it wouldn't be a set. So I predict it'll happen in 2019 2HY. Also; WHERE'S OUR D2C?!

I'm excited by the new trailer. I also spotted the castle from the Unikitty cartoon in there, so maybe the movie will reference it? I hope we see more character from Queen Whatevra Wa'Nabi . . I'll admit, I'm a bit worried that this one will follow in the footsteps of the Ninjago Movie as just . . bad. I hope they make it as entertaining as the original, though. I am definitely seeing Star-Lord vibes in Rex Dangervest. (Also, that whole 'drawing stubble on your face' thing totally reminded me of Star-Lord trying to be as manly as Thor in Infinity War.)

I do not get why people are hating on these sets, I think they're all amazing. Personal standouts/must-buys for me are Introducing Queen Whatevra Wa'Navi, Rex's Rextreme Off-roader, Ultrakatty and Warrior Lucy, Battle-Ready Batman and Metalbeard, Benny's Space Squad (of course!) and more than any other; Emmet's Dream House/Rescue Rocket. I think the House/Rocket is like the Green Ninja Mech Dragon for this movie; it's eponymous, an instant classic and every collector needs to have it as just an incredibly valuable piece of this movie. (Also, the fact that it's super easy to put in a town layout doesn't hurt.) It might be out of my budget, but I also find the two big sets of the line, the Rexplorer and the Pop-Up Party Bus, are pretty amazing and I definitely wouldn't say no to getting one or both. One thing bothers me, though; Batman is only in one set. Can that possibly be right? Will he have a much smaller role in this movie? Or are there more sets in the first wave that we haven't seen yet?

Who says the Dragon Egg don't hatch? XD I am particularly excited about the flag, mostly my because it looks like it's a banner printed on a normal 2x3 tile! As in, not on one of the 2x3s wit clips on the end. Finally, we will have Lego banner shields! I mean, we do already, but only if you can ignore having clips at the top. So, are we thinking that these apparently somewhat Netflix-inspired sets are fake? I'm taking them with a grain of salt, as much as I'd love them to be true.

Um . . I think that's an oxymoron. So, you want rereleases of the old helmets, or . . Because I'm on board. I'd like some Classic Space stuff.

@Lyichir That's not the impression I'm getting from those eyes and that mouth, they look menacing. I think it's more like, as Lord Business was Finn's vilification of his father, maybe Queen Wa-Nabi will be Finn's sister' she vilification of their mother? Though she looks more like a mean aunt to me . . . I don't think we can expect to see a 'I am your mother, Unikitty', though. This reminds me of something that happened back in the Skylanders fandom; there were these two similar characters named Spy Rise and Dr. Krankcase. Because they were similar, everyone thought that Krankcase was Spy Rise's father. No dice; they never even interacted. I feel like this is going to be more of the same.

Whatevra Wa-Nabi is . . not what I expected. Though she's purportedly a shapeshifter, so . . I'll reserve judgement. I'm just wondering if she's supposed to be Duplo or what.

These spinners all look pretty neat. I'm particularly interested by the Wu one - by the looks of things, it's built with eight of the new 1x2 rounded plates with hollow studs, in white. That's gonna make it desirable for the parts alone. I also highly approve of the fact that each spinner looks to come with four printed round 2x2 tiles. Those are going to be so useful for MOCs. ^^ I jus for wish we could see the figures clearl yenough to know if they're distinct variants or repeats of the figs from the sets.

Y'now, something's bothering me. The prelims make it look like that new player character is fighting the Ender Dragon without any armour. Or anything other than an enchanted bow and a potion. That can't be right, can it? Because that would be suicidal. Endermen can't be killed by bows and arrows. And I was really counting on this set as a good source of cheap diamond armour. It's bad enough that no major Australian retailer in my area stocks Minecraft stuff. Also, I REALLY hope that, since the Pirate Ship Set has a turtle, there'll be a helmet coloured in green to represent a turtle shell. That would be amazing. Which means it probably won't happen.

We'll, the new sets look great. I know people were upset that there seemed to be no Farm incoming in City, but it looks like Friends is filling that role nicely. Between this and the harvester in City, and some hefty modifications, my Thanos will retire peacefully! Also, Mia's house looks amazing! I'm definitely going to get that for my village.

These sets both look great. I'm definitely getting them both. Kinda bummed that there's only one Enderman, though. Eh, oh well. Can't wait for full pictures. Also, it looks like the Shipwreck set is built on a 16x16 blue plate. That'll be interesting. I do hope that the Zombie is indeed a Drowned placeholder.

Batsub is cute. Might get it so that I can put it in my Batcave.

Is that a fire fighter drone I see in the fire station set? Nice. Overall, none of these are particularly urgent must-buys in my eyes, but they're good all the same.

What are you talking about? I am looking at the Australian Lego Shop@Home right now and not only is it still retail price, $249.99 AUD, it is out of stock. And I hope so. I've only been getting into Modulars recently and I spent my budget on the Detective's Office, Parisian Restaurant and Sanctum Sanctorum because I thought that the Brick Bank would still be available for another two years. If it retires so early . . I'm gonna be in trouble.

What are you talking about? There were four other Stone Warriors who he resurrected in the Hall of Sidekicks using his Rift Blade. As far as we know, they're still around. Also, the Giant Stone Warrior in Kryptarium.

They're shutting down Brickheadz? Huh. I'm not bothered, since I was never really interested in them, but I know some people will be disappointed.

Huh. Those are cute. A bit simple, though.

As far as the Lloyd minifigure goes, all we've been told (without confirmation, by the way) is that the 'casual clothes' Lloyd minifigure from 2017 will be in one of the sets. That does not translate to him being in the movie. Hell, in that same set, we had a character named Officer Toque. Who never appeared in the movie.

{laughs out loud} Accidental coup . . this is brilliant! ^^ Five down and three to go? I'm expecting one for Robin next, maybe? Clay will be one of the last two - oh, Aaron! You haven't done Aaron yet. {counts} All six knights plus Ava plus Jestro . . yep, eight. Can't wait!
