Forget the vehicle. That is a Green Classic Spaceman with a proper Classic-style helmet. This is promising. This is very promising. Also, is it just me or does that flame exhaust Metalbeard look way cooler than what we got? Might have to modify mine with something like that. Also, Dangervest Mech Unikitty is amazing (such beautiful greebling) and I hope that it is a thing in a future wave.

But if it's not a set, why would they go to the bother of creating new parts for it instead of just finding existing alternatives? And new prints, for that matter. Also, you can see that there are some exposed studs which are obviously for posing Unikitty and Puppycorn in different places around it - why would they do that if it's just a one-off display piece and no one's ever going to take advantage of those options for poseability? Not to mention that build with the sun and moon rotating; why would they do that if no one will ever reach the model and turn the knob to make the sun set and the moon rise? There are a lot of design choices here that just don't make sense in the context of a one-off display model. And that list is for the wave releasing in May. There's bound to be a third wave releasing in, say, July or August, as every movie except TLNM has had at least three waves of products. Just because it's not part of the next wave doesn't mean it couldn't be part of the wave coming after - and that's not even taking into account the possibility that maybe, just maybe, that list was fake, or at least incomplete. Granted, 'Queen Whatevra's So-Not-Evil Space' does sound like something TLG would do . .

So, there's a display picture going around the leaks site of a Unikingdom Castle on display and people are claiming that's it's going to be a summer set. Admittedly, it sure looks like it might be an official set, and I remember seeing the Unikitty! TV show castle in one of the trailers, so Wembley know it has a role in the movie . . am I the only one who believes it? If it is a legit set, I am so definitely going to get it. I really want a Unikingdom Castle, and this one looks perfect. TLG, please don't let me down! Additional Comment: I'm further noticing a new Unikitty printed face and a recolour of the classic tree element in sand blue to act as the castle's horn. Not to menon that it's got two Unikitty variants standing outside it as though to demonstrate that they are included - they wouldn't go to all that trouble, particularly creating the recoloured tree part, just for a one-off display piece, right?

I really hope "Droid" is Volskaya Industries, and not another large buildable thing. UCS-ish Bastion was cool, but to those of us who are trying to do Overwatch stuff in minifigure layouts, it's completely useless, and I'd rather not have one of apparently only two summer Overwatch sets be something that I can't possibly make part of my layout - especially since I would dearly love to try adapting and expanding a hypothetical Volskaya Industries Mech/frame set into a Modular industrial warehouse-type building. But anyway. Getting back to the Mercy debacle, has anyone considered the Zuzanu Latt face from the Imperial Patrol Battle Pack for Mercy? It's single sided, so she'd be perpetually angry, but it's pretty much a dead ringer - and it has the face strap, so it at least emulates the black latex around her head. Non-purists could even get some paint and 'fill in' the strap to cover her cheeks?

If there are kitsune in the new season of Ninjago I will freak. That would be amazing.

Yeah, I agree. The pink is somehow different to 'normal' pink like Unikitty, it's more saturated, more . . subdued and yet more vibrant. It's not a colour in the official Lego palette I'm familiar with. It's good, though. I headcanon that Lenny is the Classic Space medic, like how Jenny (White), if you go by the original job designations, is the explorer, and Kenny (yellow) is the scientist.

Well, apparently there's only going to be three sets, so I do feel like Lego might be testing the waters. Also, 20 11-minute episodes are different from what Nexo Knights had, which was 20 22-minute episodes. They'll probably be paired up into ten 22-minute episodes. So, really only half as long as a Nexo Knights series, and the same as a 'standard' Ninjago season.

A lot of this wave sounds hit-or-miss for me. I'm interested inthe potential for a new Batmobile, but ONLY if they make it 'street-legal' this time - by which I mean, ten studs or less wide, so that it can fit on a standard City road and pass another car without going 'onto the kerb'. I feel it feels that criteria, I'll get it, but if it doesn't, then pass. The Batcave sounds promising; I was in a Dark Age for the previous ones and the TLBM one was out of my budget - well, I could have got it but I wanted the Ultimate Batmobile more - so if this one is good enough, then I'll certainly get it. Though Clayface might be redundant since I still have the massive brick-built Clayface from TLBM - so I'm hoping Clayface is a minifigure, that way I can use him as a 'shrunken-down' version.

"Queen Whatevra's So-Not-Evil Space" . . translation; Queen Whatevra's Evil Lair In Denial. With any luck, this will be good. And the spa, too! I wonder if it's going to have the speakers and equipment seen in the "Subject her to catchy pop music," TV spot. That would be awesome.

I guess recolouring all those pieces in olive green wasn't in the budget. Still; I think I'll get the Podracer and AT-RT sets, because I always liked Podracers and this is the first time one's been available while I'm interested, and also because I want to build a little statue display in my layout of Luke and Darth Vader fighting. (Which I know technically never happened while Luke was in that pilot suit but whatever.) And then I'll either find something to do with the builds from AT-RT or scrap them for parts. And, more than likely, that'll be my Star Wars quota for 2019 filled! XD Also, can anyone tell if the clone driver minifigure in the AT-RT is identical to the one in this year's AT-TP? It looks like it is, and I wanted those legs for a MOC, so if it is it'll save me some money.

I'm here not as a Lego Star Wars fan - indeed, I try to avoid all but the must-have Star Wars sets because I've experienced them to be worse value compared to other sets. So, these 'legacy' minifigures confuse me a bit, both in terms of their placement into such random sets and . . do these have, like, MASSIVE appeal to Star Wars collectors? Because it seems very unlike Lego to put these figures that are obviously just collectables into sets that, as far as I can see, are just another wave of Star Wars sets. Like they were shoehorned in at the last minute. Does anyone know what's going on?

Of course, this is also probably why DC tends to get preferential treatment over Marvel; cross-brand synergy with Batman and Warner Bros.

Having seen the Mark I . . . I want this set and I will have it. I will find an excuse to get it. It will be mine. Because that fig just looks so perfect.

A skate park? What, are they going to include roller skate pieces as microfigure skateboards? . . I meant that as a joke but, thinking about it, that's exactly what they'll do, isn't it? Anyway. I finally managed to find Benny's Space Squad (thank goodness for vacationing in a small town with very few AFOLs), and I noticed that the yellow minifigure had a splash of grey paint on the leg. Came right off with a splash of nail polish, but it had me wondering; did anyone else experience a similar defect?

Well, I obviously didn't expect a screen-accurate Rexcelsior. In the same way no one expected a screen-accurate Sea Cow, or screen-accurate versions of the Ninja Mechs from the Ninjago Movie, or a screen-accurate Batcave . . I could go on. I expected a shrunken-down version of the Rexcelsior that could still fit minifigures. Y'now, what they normally do in situations like this. Maybe one large control room with enough room for Emmet, Rex and a raptor, and a separate section that contained a bay for a smaller craft, perhaps a shrunken down version of the Rexplorer, or some other Rex-craft. Not . . this.

Aww, noooooo. I was so looking forward to a minifigure-scale Rexcelsior. First the Hogwarts D2C and now this - is there some appeal to microfig builds that I just don't understand? I hope this doesn't become a trend. Grumble grumble. Gonna have to pass on this; not because I don't want it but because microfig stuff won't work in my minifig layout. So disappointing . . .
